DS/SS 이동 통신에서 반복적 최소 자승 역전파 신경망을 이용한 적응 상관기 (Performance of Adaptive Correlator using Recursive Least Square Backpropagation Neural Network in DS/SS Mobile Communication Systems)

  • 본 논문은 CDMA 이동 통신 시스템에서 직접 순차 확산 스펙트럼의 협대역 간섭 신호를 억압하기 위해 다계층 퍼셉트론을 기본으로 한 역전파 신경망을 이용하여 적응 상관기 모델을 제시하였다. 적응 상관기 구조는 빠른 수렴 율과 보다 좋은 성능을 제공하기 위해 역전파된 에러를 가진 반복적 최소 자승 역전파 알고리즘을 도입하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과는 동일 채널 간섭과 협대역 간섭을 고려한 신호 잡음비와 전송 전력비에 대해 직접 순차 확산 스펙트럼 적응 횡단선 필터의 비트 에러율보다 역전파 신경망을 이용한 적응 상관기의 비트 에러율이 개선됨을 보였고, 특히 간섭 대 신호비가 5dB인 곳에서 역전파 신경망을 이용한 적응 상관기가 적응 횡단선 필터의 비트 에러율보다 약 $10^{-1}$ 정도 감소되었다.

  • In this paper, we construct a hybrid intelligent controller based on a fusion scheme of GA(Genetic Algorithm) and FCM(Fuzzy C-Means) clustering-based ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System). In the structure identification, a set of fuzzy rules are generated for a given criterion by FCM clustering algorithm. In the parameter identification, premise parameters are optimally searched by adaptive GA. On the other hand, consequent parameters are estimated by RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimate) to reduce the search space. Finally, we applied the proposed method to the truck backer-upper control and obtained a better performance than previous works.

  • A new algorithm for self-tuning digital controller is proposed. The system to be controlled is identified on line in auto-regressive-moving-average(ARMA) form via recursive least mean square method. The control law is obtained from the minimization of an objective function. The proposed objective function is similar to that of Generalized Minimum Variance(GMV) method but modified to lessen the overshoot and to avoid numerical divergence problem. This algorithm is applied to the power system stabilization and the comparison of the proposed method with a conventional power system stabilizer(PSS) is presented.

  • In this paper, the scheme of fuzzy system construction using GA(genetic algorithm) and FCM(Fuzzy c-means) clustering algorithm is proposed for TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang) type fuzzy system. in the structure identification, input data is trans-formed by PCA(Principal Component Analysis) to reduce the correlation among input data components.   • In the semiconductor manufacturing industry, the heterodyne laser interferometer plays as an ultra-precise measurement system. However, the heterodyne laser interferometer has some unwanted nonlinearity error which is caused from frequency-mixing. This is an obstacle to improve the measurement accuracy in nanometer scale. In this paper we propose a compensation algorithm based on RLS(recursive least square) method and artificial intelligence method, which reduce the nonlinearity error in the heterodyne laser interferometer. With the capacitance displacement sensor we get a reference signal which can be transformed into the intensity domain. Using the back-propagation Neural Network method, we train the network to track the reference signal. Through some experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in measurement accuracy.

  • A new method for the determination of camera system rotation and translation from in 3-D space using recursive least square method is presented in this paper. With this method, the calculation of the equation is found by a linear algorithm. Where the equation are either given or be obtained by solving five or more point correspondences. Good results can be obtained in the presence if more than the eight point. A main advantage of this new method is that it decouple rotation and translation, and then reduces computation. With respect to error in the solution point number in the input image data, adding one more feature correspondence to required minimum number improves the solution accuracy drastically. However, further increase in the number of feature correspondence improve the solution accuracy only slowly. The algorithm proposed by this paper is used to make camera system rotation and translation easy to recognize even when camera system attached at end effecter of six degrees of freedom industrial robot manipulator are applied industrial field.

NEW ADAPTIVE METHOD FOR VOLTAGE SAG AND SWELL DETECTION

  • This paper presents an adaptive recursive least squares algorithm (ARLS) for detecting voltage sag and voltage swell events in power systems. Different methods have been developed to detect voltage sag and voltage swell. Some of them use window techniques, which are too slow when voltage sag or swell mitigation is required. Others depend on the extraction of a single non-stationary sinusoidal signal out of a given multi-components input signal, and therefore they don't consider the harmonic components in calculating the voltage root mean square value (rms). The method, proposed in this paper, is capable of estimating the voltage rms taking into account all harmonic components. The method is tested by applying it to different, simulated signals using ATP program, and compared with voltage sag detection algorithms.

  • GPC has been reported as a useful self-tuning control algorithm for systems with unknown time-delay and parameters. GPC is easy to understand and implement, and thus has won popularity among many practicing engineers. Despite its success, GPC does not guarantee is nominal stability. So, in this paper, GPC is rederived in frequency domain instead of in the time domain to guarantee its nominal stability. Derivation of GPC in frequency domain involves spectral factorization and Diophantine equation. Frequency domain GPC control law is stable because the zeros of characteristic polynomial are strictly Schur. Recursive least square algorithm is used to identify unknown parameters. To see the effectiveness of the proposed controller, the controller is simulated for a numerical problem that changes in dead-time, in order and in parameters.

  • A numerical simulation is carried out on the directiveity synthesis of ultrasonic transducers by point source array. Directive method with combined LMS(Least-Mean-Square) method is practiced by means of a iterative method to realize the desired directivity. The directiviey of quasi-ideal beam with a beam width and a directive arbitrary specified was chosen. On the numerical resut, Proposed algorithm shows higher speed of clculating simulation than that of LMS method, and make adaptive control, which enables the desired directivity. Numerical simulations are carried out by PC(CPU:80486 DX2, RAM 16Mbyte).

  • In this paper we obtain a discrete mathmatical model of a Gas turbine control system from experimental data. we find appropriate input signal and parameter estimation algorithm for identification of the gas turbine control system. Under these conditions experimental data are collected from real system and parameters are estimated by the recursive least square algorithm. The computer simulation results show that the proposed experimental procedure is appropriate for the identification of the gas turbine control system. The model validation is excuted by real data from the Gunsan Gas Turbine Power Plant.
