고속철도 강교량의 부식.피로신뢰성 기반 생애주기비용 분석 (Corrosion-Fatigue Reliability-Based Life Cycle Cost Analysis of High-Speed Railway Steel Bridges)

  • As it recently appears that Life Cycle Cost Analysis may be considered as new methodology for economic valuation of infrastructure many researches have been made to assess LCC(Life Cycle Cost) of each facility based on a reasonable methods. In general, LCC is composed of construction cost and expected maintenance repair cost. And especially, maintenance repair cost must be estimated to enhance the reliability through systematic and reasonable methods. However in Korea, because high speed railway steel bridges are recently constructed no direct statistical data are available for the account of the maintenance cost and then their maintenance characteristics are not linear yet. Therefore, the approach proposed in the paper utilizes a theoretical determination and degradation of the corrosion and fatigue of the bridges based on Rahgozar et al.(2006)'s model on fatigue notch factor considering into the corrosion to incorporate the corrosion effect into the fatigue strength reduction model. And then, the corresponding probability of failure is calculated in terms of the reliability index using S-N curve to formulate the fatigue limit state. Therefore, this paper proposes the minimum Life Cycle Cost through optimum maintenance plan analysis of high-speed railway steel bridges under construction. Finally, this paper reviews the proposed model in oder to confirm the applicability and feasibility by appling it to high speed railway steel bridges under construction

미국법 상의 중재인의 고지 의무: 판례법상 명백한 편파성을 중심으로 (Arbitrator's Duty to Disclose in the Context of U.S. Law: Focusing on Case Law's Evident Partiality)

  • The FAA provides that a district court may make an order vacating an arbitration award upon the application of any party to the arbitration where there was evident partiality on the arbitrator's behalf. The U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Commonwealth Coatings Corp. held that arbitrators must disclose to the parties "any dealing that might create an impression of possible bias." Justice White attempted to limit the scope of evident partiality to instances where an arbitrator has a "substantial interest" in the dispute before disclosure is required. The Second Circuit held that if an arbitrator thinks that a nontrivial conflict of interest might exist, the arbitrator must either (i) conduct an investigation into the potential conflict, or (ii) disclose to the parties why he or she thinks there could be a conflict. Further, the arbitrator must disclose his or her intent not to investigate the matter. By utilizing a reasonable impression of partiality standard, the Ninth Circuit held that evident partiality can exist despite an arbitrator's actual acknowledgement of a conflict, and if an arbitrator fails to discharge his or her duty to investigate potential conflicts of interest, his or her constructive knowledge of the conflicts can give rise to evident partiality.

  • Standard safety management costs can not be applied to each site with same rate, it is very difficult, because it depends on the experience, work method, work kind, work progress schedule, and hazard level of each construction company. Therefore, this study is to find out hazard level of each work kinds through questionnaire and interview and investigate analyze the status which standard safety management costs have been used. Also, this study is to show reasonable rates of standard safety management costs in construction industry and to set up countermeasures against those problem after reviewing its status in korea with in Japan and Europe. The domestic system of standard safety management costs is not considered in the foreign country, while only related subjective items have been investigated and evaluated for this study. This study is to investigate eleven project kinds of domestic system, first, and to investigate eleven items of apartment bldg, office, civil work such as bridge, tunnel, dam, plant etc, secondly. Additionally, three items of gymnasium, railway, particular steel tower are investigated in this study. Also this study is to investigate and analyze performed costs of presently processing worker finished work so that it shows a new reasonable rate against standard safety management costs in construction industry, in order to make basial data and material to be systemized.

남자한복(男子韓服)의 바지원형제도에 관한 연구 (A study on the Korean trousers pattern design)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to study the method of the reasonable pattern design. The studying method is based on the original principle of the trousers' cutting and I have a hypothesis about the trousers pattern which should be proved. When I selected the practical method, I made use of the international measuring rule, graph paper and tracing paper, in order to prove the new pattern design. The reasonable pattern design should be the one of the suitable original principles to be suited in the design through any measurement. Therefore, I have discussed the above mentioned design. I find out the conclusion to prove the hypothesis of pattern design with the experimental measure after showing the above mentiond design. The characteristics is as follows. First : To be convinient when walking, because of little degree as folding of the front part of trousers with the under-angle. Second : To be suitable in proportion to the length of trousers and the under-angle. Third ; When folding the center line of the Sapok (a name of one of the trousers parts), the length of the Sapoks is same and harmonized with the Sapoks because of the same angle of both Sapoks in any case of the measurement. Fourth : No correction of the lines when dressing, for the same points of the large Sapok and the small one. Fifth : To be easiness of the pattern design through the concrete measurement. I could find out a little extent errors of pattern showings, an easiness of dressing, scientification of formation in Korean trousers and standard of the practical measurement in the program to be presented as the result of studying.

라이프 스타일과 의복 쇼핑 성향과의 관계 연구 - 남녀 대학생을 중심으로 - (A Study on Relationships between Lifestyle and Clothing Shopping Orientation - Focused on Korean University Students -)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate dimensions of lifestyle and clothing shopping orientation of university students as consumers in Korea and to analyze the relationships between lifestyle and clothing shopping orientation. The research method for this study is survey and subjects were 473 male and female university students. The questionnaire is consisted of measurement items for lifestyle, clothing shopping orientation, and demographic attributions. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, T-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS program. The results are as follows. First, 4 factors were emerged on lifestyle (achievement-oriented, economics-oriented, appearance-oriented and freedom/culture-oriented) and clothing shopping orientation had 4 factors (reasonable shopping, informational shopping, conspicuous shopping, and convenient shopping). Second, there were significant relationships between lifestyle and clothing shopping orientation. Especially, there were high positive relationship between economics-oriented lifestyle and reasonable shopping orientation, and appearance-oriented lifestyle and informational shopping orientation. Third, lifestyle and clothing shopping orientation had much differences by subjects' demographics attributions.

피로수명예측을 위한 잔류강도 저하모델의 파라미터 결정법 제안(I) (A Proposal of Parameter Determination Method in the Residual Strength Degradation Model for the Prediction of Fatigue Life (I))

  • The static and fatigue tests have been carried out to verify the validity of a generalized residual strength degradation model. And a new method of parameter determination in the model is verified experimentally to account for the effect of tension-compression fatigue loading of spheroidal graphite cast iron. It is shown that the correlation between the experimental results and the theoretical prediction on the statistical distribution of fatigue life by using the proposed method is very reasonable. Furthermore, it is found that the correlation between the theoretical prediction and the experimental results of fatigue life in case of tension-tension fatigue data in composite material appears to be reasonable. Therefore, the proposed method is more adjustable in the determination of the parameter than maximum likelihood method and minimization technique.

Characteristics of a-IGZO TFTs with Oxygen Ratio

  • In the advanced material for the next generation display device, transparent amorphous oxide semiconductors (TAOS) are promising materials as a channel layer in thin film transistor (TFT). The TAOS have many advantages for large-area application compared with hydrogenated amorphous silicon TFT (a-Si:H) and organic semiconductor TFT. For the reasonable characteristics of TAOS, The a-IGZO has the excellent performances such as low temperature fabrication (R.T~), high mobility, visible region transparent, and reasonable on-off ratio. In this study, we investigated how the electric characteristics and physical properties are changed as various oxygen ratio when magnetron sputtering. we analysis a-IGZO film by AFM, EDS and I-V measurement. decreasing the oxygen ratio, the threshold voltage is shifted negatively and mobility is increasing. Through this correlation, we confirm the effect of oxygen ratio. We fabricated the bottom-gate a-IGZO TFTs. The gate insulator, SiO2 film was grown on heavily doped silicon wafer by thermal oxidation method. a-IGZO channel layer was deposited by RF magnetron sputtering. and the annealing condition is $350^{\circ}C$. Electrode were patterned Al deposition through a shadow mask(160/1000 um).

  • 본 연구에서는 홍수시 낙동강 유역에서 발생하는 수위거동양상을 분석하기 위해서 수리학적 하도추적모형을 적용하였다. 이를 위해 Saint-Venent 식의 가중 4점 음해법 유한차분해를 구하는 FLDWAV모형을 적용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 합리적인 댐관리를 위해서 상류 댐방류량에 따른 하류부의 홍수도달시간에 대해서도 검토하였다. 모의 결과 수리학적 모형에 의한 방류량의 도달시간을 산정하기 위해서는 여러 가지 가정과 제한조건에 따른 방류시간산정이 수반되어야 할 것으로 판단되었다. 본 연구에서 구축된 모형을 적용함으로서 하류하천의 영향을 고려한 합리적인 댐방류 의사결정의 지침을 제공하며, 홍수시 하천에서의 과학적인 수리학적 분석이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

지급여력제도의 국제적 정합성 연구 - 손해보험을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study of Solvency Margin Regulation System : Focusing on Non-Life Insurance)

  • This paper aims to find a reasonable solvency margin system in non-life insurance industry and also to evaluate the appropriateness of the current solvency margin regulation system in Korea. The current solvency margin system in Korea, based on EU's solvency margin model, was introduced during the 1997 financial crisis. The solvency requirement is not based on non-life insurer's risk, but simply on written premiums. The current solvency margin for general insurance, such as fire, marine, and automobile insurance, is determined by the greater between a premium-based amount and a claim-based amount, where the premium-based solvency margin is calculated by multiplying the net written premium for the preceding year by the premium based solvency margin ratio. Also, the amount of solvency margin for long term insurance is set at 4% of the policy reserve of the long term insurance. Still, there exist many differences between the current solvency margin regulation system in Korea and EU's model. This paper focuses on the rationality of the solvency margin regulation system, and compares the current system in Korea with EU's model and the RBC(Risk Based Capital) system in U.S. and Japan. Finally, this paper suggests a more specific and reasonable solvency margin system to be developed in Korea.

해상운송계약(海上運送契約)에서 선화증권(船貨證券) 이로조항(離路條項)의 유효성(有效性)에 관한 고찰(考察) (A Study on the Validity of the Deviation Clause of B/L in the Contract for the Carriage of Goods by Sea)

  • The clauses of bill of lading(B/L) consist of the terms of contract for the carriage of goods by sea because of clauses of B/L by the mutual agreement of contracting parties. There are some exempted cause of deviation clause in B/L for specific reasons. Then deviation clauses are influenced by Rules of international carriage of goods by sea, because the international rules become the governing law of contract for the carriage of goods by sea. The problem of deviation clauses in B/L is stipulated as follows. "It shall be prerequisite to the Merchant' claim for damages on account of deviation that the merchant's insurance shall first have been cancelled on account of alleged deviation. No deviation shall oust the right to limit liability or damages, and the Carrier shall always be entitled to the full benefit of all privileges, rights and immunities contained in this Bill of Lading and incorporated tariffs." This stipulation should be adjusted according to the confirmed cases, otherwise it will be invalid according to the Hague Rules and Hamburg rules. The sphere of a reasonable deviation in the deviation clause should be interpreted in the connection with the designed voyage and the commercial object of contract for the carriage of goods by sea and the deviation become valid unless the policy, the general object of international rules or the true intention of contracting parties has violated.
