This paper presents a method for evaluating the performance of a leaf spring suspension and an air spring suspension systems for trucks in terms of ride and handling. Leaf springs, which generally have non-linear progressive force-deflection characteristics, are modeled using beam and contact elements. The leaf spring analysis model shows good correlation with experimental results. Each component of an air spring suspension system, which is a single leaf, air spring, height control valve, compressor and linkages, is modeled appropriately. Non-linear characteristics of air spring are accounted for using the measured data, and pressure and volume relations for height control system is also considered. The wheel rate of the air suspension is taken lower but roll stiffness is taken higher than those of leaf springs to improve ride and handling performance, which is verified through driving simulations.

In recent years, vehicle manufacturers have steadily developed fuel saving technologies such as multi-speed automatic transmission. With such a background, the Hyundai-powertech have developed the new 6-speed rear wheel drive(RWD)automatic transmission for FR vehicles. Despite having six-speed, it has the same number of planetary gears as a previously used five-speed automatic transmission and fewer brakes and one-way clutches than the 5 A/T, meaning that it is light, compact, and inexpensive. But, in addition to meshing this internal and external gear simultaneously and phase difference by the tooth contact point and the time difference occurs asymmetric and symmetric sideband noise and vibration caused by the modulation in the vehicle. In this paper presents a method for the design of the carrier phase difference by developing various theories and experiments for gear noise.

A solar cell conversion effiency was degraded by grain boundary effect in polycrystalline silicon. To reduce these effects of the grain boundaries, we investigated various influencing factors such as preferential chemical etching of grain boundaries, grid design, transparent conductive thin film, and top metallization along grain boundaries. Pretreatment in $N_2$ atmosphere and gettering by $POCl_3$ and Al were performed to obtain polycrystalline silicon of the reduced defect density. Structural, electrical, and optical properties of solar cells were characterized. Improved conversion efficiencies of solar cell were obtained by a combination of Al diffusion into grain boundaries on rear side, fine grid finger, top Yb metal grid on Cr thin film of $200{\AA}$ and buried contact metallization along grain boundaries.

Light elevated temperature induced degradation (LeTID) was noted as an issue in multi-crystalline silicon solar cells (MSSC) by Ram speck in 2012. In contrast to light induced degradation (LID), which has been researched in silicon solar cells for a long time, research about both LeTID and the mechanism of LeTID has been limited. In addition, research about LeTID in single-crystalline silicon solar cells (SSSC) is even more limited. In order to improve understanding of LeTID in SSSC with a passivated emitter rear contact (PERC) structure, we fabricated four group samples with boron and oxygen factors and evaluated the solar cell characteristics, such as the cell efficiency, $V_{oc}$, $I_{sc}$, fill factor (FF), LID, and LeTID. The trends of LID of the four group samples were similar to the trend of LeTID as a function of boron and oxygen.

Since the general solar cells accept sun light at the front side, excluding the electrode area, electrons move from the emitter to the front electrode and start to collect at the grid edge. Thus the edge of gridline can be important for electrical properties of screen-printed silicon solar cells. In this study, the improvement of electrical properties in screen-printed crystalline silicon solar cells by contact treatment of grid edge was investigated. The samples with $60{\Omega}/{\square}$ and $70{\Omega}/{\square}$ emitter were prepared. After front side of samples was deposited by SiNx commercial Ag paste and Al paste were printed at front side and rear side respectively. Each sample was co-fired between $670^{\circ}C$ and $780^{\circ}C$ in the rapid thermal processing (RTP). After the firing process, the cells were dipped in 2.5% hydrofluoric acid (HF) at room temperature for various times under 60 seconds and then rinsed in deionized water. (This is called "contact treatment") After dipping in HF for a certain period, the samples from each firing condition were compared by measurement. Cell performances were measured by Suns-Voc, solar simulator, the transfer length method and a field emission scanning electron microscope. According to HF treatment, once the thin glass layer at the grid edge was etched, the current transport was changed from tunneling via Ag colloids in the glass layer to direct transport via Ag colloids between the Ag bulk and the emitter. Thus, the transfer length as well as the specific contact resistance decreased. For more details a model of the current path was proposed to explain the effect of HF treatment at the edge of the Ag grid. It is expected that HF treatment may help to improve the contact of high sheet-resistance emitter as well as the contact of a high specific contact resistance.
Purpose: Car seats affect customer satisfaction greatly when the seats' design is changed because car holders are in close contact with the seats. However, the improvement of the current seats' design involves risks such as investment cost, and therefore it needs strategic operating measures from the perspective of customers. Until now, operations of seats' specification have been decided by technical-push rather than market-pull, and carried out based on professionals' experience without measuring customer satisfaction correctly. The purpose of this study is to present a systematic approach to measure customers' perception on the car seats using the Kano model and pairwise comparison technique. Methods: The authors derive 17 major functions of a car seat by analyzing major components of car seats, and conduct a survey of 141 adults who hold a car(s). Results: The results show that consumers perceive the adjustable functions of front seats as must-be while the same functions for rear seats are perceived as attractive. In particular, motor operated functions for both front and rear seats increase customer satisfaction greatly if they are presented. Conclusion: This study shows that how much customer (dis)satisfaction will increase if a function of car seats (non)fulfilled, and therefore, the results of this study will provide practitioners and R&D personnel in new automobile seats development projects with useful information.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined wedge on the range of motion in ankle and knee joint, ankle eversion moment and knee adduction moment, and center of pressure excursion of foot for genu varus among adult men during gait. This study was carried out with 10 adult men for genu varus in a motion analysis laboratory in J university. The subjects of the experiment were measured above 5cm width between the knees on contact of both medial malleolus of ankle while standing. The width of their knees in neutral position was measured without the inversion or eversion of the subtalar joint by the investigator. The subjects of the experiment were ten who were conducted randomly for standard insole, insole with $10^{\circ}$ lateral on rear foot wedge, insole at $10^{\circ}$lateral on rear foot and $5^{\circ}$ medial on fore foot wedge. Before and after intervention, changes on the range of motion in ankle and knee joint, ankle eversion moment and knee adduction moment, and center of pressure excursion were measured. In order to compare analyses among groups; repeated one-way ANOVA and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ post hoc test were used. As a result, combined wedge group was significantly decreased compared to control wedge group in terms of knee varus angle in mid-stance(p<.05). Combined wedge group was significantly decreased compared to lateral wedge group in terms of ankle eversion moment in whole stance(p<.05). Combined wedge group was significantly decreased compared to lateral wedge group in terms of knee adduction moment in whole stance(p<.05). Combined wedge group was significantly decreased compared to lateral wedge in terms of center of pressure excursion in whole stance(p<.05). The results of this study suggest that combined wedge for genu varus decreased ankle eversion moment and knee adduction moment upon center of pressure excursion. We hypothesize that combined wedge may also be effective in the protection excessive ankle pronation.

Chip-on-glass(COG) mounting of area array electronic packages was attempted by heating the rear surface of a contact pad film deposited on a glass substrate. The pads consisted of an adhesion (i.e. Cr or Ti) and a top coating layer(i.e. Ni or Cu) were healed by the UV laser beam transmitted through the glass substrate. The lather energy absorbed on the pad raised the temperature of a solder ball which is in physical contact with the pad, and formed a reflowed solder bump. The effects of the adhesion and top coating layer on the laser reflow soldering were studied by measuring temperature profile of the ball during the laser heating process. The results were discussed based on the measurement of reflectivity of the adhesion layer. In addition, the microstructures of solder bumps and their mechanical properties were examined.
The connectorless power supply system on that multi-contact causes confidence when the wiring reconstructed in the rear. As you see above, contact points between sets and indoor space cause inferior function of audio frequency so it needs to be eliminated. This paper explains the structure of connectorless power supply to supply the system with power crossing the air gap in the part of inductively in the connectorless power supply of both magnetic and electrical model. To get maximum output of electrical load, compensating capacitor compensates to show inter-inductance, lequeage-inductance reducing the track-inductance and access the conditions for resonance. At that time it accesses the maximum electric power. The small change of the value of compensating capacitor causes the changes of maximum electric power. Here the power electronics technology is used not only in the industrial machinery but also in the home appliances so the switching power supply is used to actualize the miniaturization, lightweight, and high efficiency. Generally the condenser input methods are widely used in the rectification circuit of switching power supply, but condenser input method generate great quantity of high frequency components because with this method the current flows in the power input filtering condenser only around value of peak of ac input voltage. To solve these problems, installation of power factor improve circuit on the front of filtering capacitence was considered. Several methods were suggested regarding, but the active filter method which makes smalliging and highly power factor possible are the produce main stream. IC for power factor improvement can be utilized by CMOS process proposing low power consumption. When the high power factor is considered seriously in the power factor improvement circuit, active filter method is selected. In the active filter method, the boost converter is used. Regarding this ·the boost converter is needed.
The algal blooms in stagnant streams and lakes have caused many problems. Excessive algae leads to disturbance of ecosystem and overload of water treatment processes. Therefore, phosphorus(P), source of algal blooms, should be controlled. In this study, a filtration trench has been developed to convert dissolved phosphorus into hydroxyapatite(HAP) so that it could be crystallized on the surface of 'phosphorus removal granular material'; and residual particulate phosphorus could be removed by additional precipitation and filtration. The front and rear parts of filtration trench consisted of 'phosphorus removal granular material contact bed' and 'limestone filtration bed', respectively. As a result of the column test using phosphorus removal granular material and limestone serially, $PO_4-P$ was removed more than 90% when EBCT(empty bed contact time) of the contact bed was over 20 minutes; and T-P represented 60% of removal efficiency when total EBCT was over 1.5 hours. The results of column tests to figure out the sedimentation characteristics showed that more than 90% of particulate phosphorus could be removed within 24 hours. It was necessary to optimize the filtration part in order to increase removal efficiency of T-P additionally. Also, it was confirmed through the simulation of Visual MINTEQ that most of particulate phosphorus in the column tests is the form of HAP. Based on the results of the study, it could be suggested that the design parameters are over 0.5 hour of EBCT for phosphorus removal granular material contact bed and over 1.5 hours of EBCT for limestone filtration bed.
