  • This paper presents a DSP based direct digital control design and implementation for a high power boost converter. A single loop and dual loop voltage control are digitally implemented and compared. The real time workshop (RTW) is used for automatic real-time code generation. Experimental results of a 20 kW boost converter based on the TMS320F2808 DSP during reference voltage changes, input voltage changes, and load disturbances are presented. The results show that the dual loop control achieves better steady state and transient performance than the single loop control. In addition, the experimental results validate the effectiveness of using the RTW for automatic code generation to speed up the system implementation.

  • A real-time path planning of mobile robots is a broad topic, covering a large spectrum of different technologies and applications. Briefly a path planning is designated moving technique from current pose to desired pose. It is remarkably easy to handle for human, not for robot. It is difficult that a robot recognizes surround to get a current pose and to avoid an obstacles. In this paper covers kinematics, path planning for efficient movements of a mobile robot. Kinematics of mobile robot which is suggested in this paper is exploited to create reliable and suitable motions. In addition, Gradient method is a algorithm which can guarantee for real-time path planning.

  • A tunable reduced-order distillation model is proposed for real-time applications. To develop the model, a binary distillation column with MaCabe-Thiele assumptions was considered first and then the governing equations for the column were reduced to a simplified vector differential equations using the collocation method combined with cubic spline interpolation function. The final reduced-order model has four tuning parameters, relative volatilities and liquid holdups for rectifying and stripping sections, respectively. To assess the applicability of the developed model, the real-time adjustment of the model was tried by recursively updating the tuning parameters using the BKF algorithm. As a result, it was found that the reduced-model follows the simulated distillation process very closely as the parameters are improved.

  • UDP has likely been used for real-time applications, such as video and audio. UDP supplies minimized transmission delay by omitting the connection setup process, flow control, and retransmission In general, more than 80 percent of the WAN resources are occupied by Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) traffic as opposed to UDP's simplicity, TCP adopts a unique flow control in this paper, I report new methods to minimize a udp packet loss considering TCP flow control on the real-time application the better performance of real time application can be obtained when they reduce a packet size and FIFO buffer scheduling method competing with TCP bandwidth for the bandwidth and buffering.

  • This paper describes a model suitable for real-time languages, which explicitly defines a set of resource objects. The resource objects are constituted in a specialization hierarchy which allows programmers to perform resource handling at any desired level of detail, as well as providing a uniform interface. This object-oriented model is used to extend the applicability of the imprecise computation approach to deal with shortfalls of any computational resource, and enable to build real-time systems which can handle dynamic situations.

  • The multi-core technology has become pervasive in embedded systems. An implementation of the Doppler Beam Sharpening algorithm that improves the azimuth resolution by using doppler frequency shift is possible only in multi-core environment because of the amount of calculation. In this paper, we design of multi-core architecture for a real time implementation of DBS algorithm. And based on designed structure, we produce a DBS image on P4080 board.

  • Hyperpolarization methods are the most emerging techniques in the field of magnetic resonance (MR) researches since they make a contribution to overcoming sensitivity limitation of MR spectroscopy and imaging, leading to new fields of researches, real-time in vivo metabolic/molecular imaging and MR analysis of chemical/biological reactions in non-equilibrium conditions. Make use of enormous signal enrichments, it becomes feasible to investigate various chemical and biochemical systems with low ${\gamma}$ nuclei in real-time. This review deals with the theoretical principals of common hyperpolarization methods and their experimental features. In addition, more detailed theories, mechanisms, and applications of dissolution dynamic nuclear polarization (D-DNP) are discussed.

Currently, home network or other networks like entertainment, residential electronic networks are jumbled together with heterogeneous networks in a rampaging condition. In a reality of high expectation for home networks system like the mutual application for various machines, we are required to have the unification technology for conveniences to satisfy expectations. This thesis reflects how to develop Java applications or mutual products based on convenient interfaces actually that process various sensors which create real time data stream in Java platform through Java based sensor data-stream processing embedded middleware design and realization in real time.

  • The scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) is an effective algorithm used in object recognition, panorama stitching, and image matching. However, due to its complexity, real-time processing is difficult to achieve with current software approaches. The increasing availability of parallel computers makes parallelizing these tasks an attractive approach. This paper proposes a novel parallel approach for SIFT algorithm implementation using a block filtering technique in a Gaussian convolution process on the SIMD Pixel Processor. This implementation fully exposes the available parallelism of the SIFT algorithm process and exploits the processing and input/output capabilities of the processor, which results in a system that can perform real-time image and video compression. We apply this implementation to images and measure the effectiveness of such an approach. Experimental simulation results indicate that the proposed method is capable of real-time applications, and the result of our parallel approach is outstanding in terms of the processing performance.
