Recently, due to the rapid development of the internet, the production and demand of high capacity contents are rapidly increasing. In order to accommodate the changing trend of internet usage, researches on CCN, the future internet architecture, are actively being conducted. Mobility support is an important challenge in CCN real-time services, given that today's internet environment is changing to mobile and real-time services are increasing. In CCN real-time services, the mobility problem can be largely divided into consumer mobility, provider mobility, and intermediate-node mobility. Among them, when the intermediate-node moves in the CCN real-time services, the service disconnection occurs and the QoS degradation is caused. In this paper. we propose Intermediate-Node Mobility Support(INMS) to support the intermediate-node mobility in CCN real-time services. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme shows better performance than CCN in terms of service disconnection time and packet loss.

HPI (High-speed Portable Internet) system which provides high speed internet services is going to be commercialized soon. Since HPI provides simultaneously four different service types such as UGS (Unsolicited Grant Service), rtPS (real time Polling Service), nrtPS(non-real time Polling Service), and BE (Best Effort) under different QoS (Quality of Service) requirements and limited wireless channel resources, efficient packet scheduling mechanisms are necessary to increase the utilization of channels as well as to satisfy the various QoS requirements. This study regards the traffic data to be served as time series and proposes a new packet scheduling algorithm based on the nonparametric statistical test. The performance of the newly proposed algorithm is evaluated through the simulation analysis using a simulator that can evaluate the performance of packet scheduling mechanisms under various values of system parameters and measures such as packet delay time, data transmission rate, number of loss packets, and channel utilization.
In this paper, we apply the next generation Internet TV solution, FLV has been designed and implemented. Real-time prediction of Web service of quality (QoS) provides more convenience for web services in cloud environment, but real-time QoS prediction faces severe challenges, especially under the cold-start situation. Existing literatures of real-time QoS predicting ignore that the QoS of a user/service is related to the QoS of other users/services. For example, users/services belonging to the same group of category will have similar QoS values. All of the methods ignore the group relationship because of the complexity of the model. Based on this, we propose a real-time Matrix Factorization based Clustering model (MFC), which uses category information as a new regularization term of the loss function. Specifically, in order to meet the real-time characteristic of the real-time prediction model, and to minimize the complexity of the model, we first map the QoS values of a large number of users/services to a lower-dimensional space by the PCA method, and then use the K-means algorithm calculates user/service category information, and use the average result to obtain a stable final clustering result. Extensive experiments on real-word datasets demonstrate that MFC outperforms other state-of-the-art prediction algorithms.
A growing diversity of pervasive devices is gaming access to the Internet and other information. However, much of the rich multimedia contents cannot be easily handled by the client devices because of the limited communication, processing, storage and display capabilities. The in-tegration of voice, data and video service modified the target of networking technologies. Networks must have some the capabilities for in-tegration of various services and also for QoS support as required by each of those service. Because of these reasons, we developed EAGIS(Efficient ATM Gateway for real time Internet Service) to provide seamless multimedia service between the ATM network and the Internet. EAGIS consists of the interworking unit, content server, transcoding server, and the serveice broker to provide seamless multimedia service be-tween the ATM network and the Internet. In this paper, we design the architecture and transcoding service scenario of the EAGIS. When the RTP is used for the bi-directional communication, transcoding time is configured by the time-stamp of RTCP. When HTTP is used for unidirec-tional communication, self-timer is used. By using these reference time, standard transcoding method is applicable according to the frame trans-mission rate and network traffic load. And we can also assure the QoS of the multiple users` effective bandwidth by our algorithm.

In this paper, we propose an Energy Efficient Media Access Control (EE-MAC) protocol for wireless sensor networks. The proposed scheme is designed to save power consumption and guarantee quality-of-service for real-time traffic. EE-MAC uses the superframe structure which is bounded by the transmission of a beacon frame and can have an active and an inactive portion. The active period is divided into the contention free period (CFP) for real-time traffic transmission and the contention access period (CAP) for non-real-time traffic transmission. We propose the exclusively allocated backoff scheme which assigns a unique backoff time value to each real-time node based on bandwidth allocation and admission control. This scheme can avoid collision between real-time nodes by controlling distributed fashion and take effect a statistical time division multiple access. We also propose the algorithm to change the duty cycle adaptively according to channel utilization of media depending on network traffic load. This algorithm can prolong network lifetime by reducing the amount of energy wasted on idle listening.

In this paper, we propose a development of internet teleoperation method applying QoS model, which has the real time control capability and the time-delay predicting capability, The QoS model gives a constant bandwidth to a specified application and makes the dynamically irregular time-delay to be predictable and fined so that it can have real-time capability.

The growing usage of multimedia communication applications with specific bandwidth and real-time delivery requirements has created the needs for quality of service(QoS). In response to the growing demand for an integrated services, the Reservation Protocol(RSVP) has been designed to exchange resource reservation among routers in the internet. RSVP protocol provides the quality of service for real-time applications but the network efficiency is reduced because of the limited bandwidth. In order to use network resources efficiently. We compare the resource efficiency of traditional reservation methods with that of the proposed method and evaluate the performance of the internet phone.

In this paper, an improved utility-based cross-layer dynamic subcarrier allocation (DSA) algorithm is proposed for single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) system, which adopts adaptive service rate control (ASRC) to eliminate the service rate waste and improve the spectral efficiency in heterogeneous network including non-real-time traffic and real-time traffic. In this algorithm, furthermore, a first in first out (FIFO) queuing model with finite space is established on the cross-layer scheduling framework. Simulation results indicate that by taking the service rate constraint as the necessary condition for optimality, the ASRC algorithm can effectively eliminate the service rate waste without compromising the scheduling performance. Moreover, the ASRC algorithm is able to further improve the quality of service (QoS) performance and transmission throughput by contributing an attractive performance trade-off between real-time and non-real-time applications.
