실시간 어장정보 생산 부이시스템 개발 및 활용연구 (Development on Real Time Application System for Fisheries Oceanography Information)

  • 동해중북부 연안역의 해황 변화에 따른 연안 양식 환경변화에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 연안 어장에서 관측한 해양자료를 실시간으로 일반사용자들에게 제공하는 실시간 어장정보 제공시스템을 개발 및 운용할 수 있는 연구를 수행 하였다. 실시간 어장정보 제공시스템은 크게 어장정보 생산 부이시스템, 해양자료 수집서버, 해양자료 저장데이터베이스 서버, 인터넷을 통한 자료제공을 위한 웹 서버로 구성하였다. 또한 인터넷을 통해 최종 이용자들에게 자료를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 원하는 사용자에 대해 휴대전화서비스 빚 문자서비스(SMS)를 제공할 수 있게 하였다. 실시간 어장정보 제공시스템에서 관측한 수온, 유향 유속자료를 이용하여 연안역 저층에서 수 일 이하의 단주기적인 해황변동이 발생함을 정량화 할 수 있었다. 수일 이내 단주기적 해황변동은 어장환경에 영향을 미쳐 어장의 폐사를 유발시키는 원인 중에 하나가 되기도 한다. 따라서 실시간 자료에 의해 이상 해황이 발생하면 수하식 양식시설을 적수온대로 이동 시켜 대량폐사를 막을 수 있으리라 생각된다. 또한 수층별 장기적인 자료의 데이터베이스 구축을 활용하여 수평 및 연직의 양식장 적격지 공간을 과학적으로 도출할 수 있다.

실해역 환경에서 생물부착에 관한 기초실험 연구 (Preliminary Experimental Study on Biofouling in Real Sea Environment)

  • A flow and low temperature of deep seawater the biofouling properties in a seawater environment of different materials, such as a steel pipe, polyethylene pipe, and nylon net, used for ocean industries. Experiments in a real sea environment were performed to grasp the quantitative and qualitative biofouling from diatoms attached to materials by measuring the Chlorophyll-a density. Experimental samples were placed under five types of ocean environmental conditions and analyzed every month for five months. It is shown that the biofouling by diatoms was strongly affected by the seawater temperature for all of the experimental samples. It was found that diatoms mainly adhered to the nylon net, while crustaceans prefer polyethylene, under a high temperature condition. It is believed that the biofouling properties are strongly related to the surface roughness of a material. The biofouling under the low temperature condition of deep seawater was rare and stable for the experimental periods. The inside of a pipe conveying deep seawater can be presumed to remain clear without biofouling on the condition of a flow and low temperature of deep seawater.

  • Military Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) is utilized to search a mine under the sea. This paper presents design and performance verification of real-time hybrid navigation system for AUV. The navigation system uses Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) integration method to correct INS error in underwater. When the AUV is floated on the water, the accumulated error of navigation algorithm is corrected using position/velocity of GPS. The navigation algorithm is verified using 6 Degree Of Freedom (DOF) simulation, Program In the Loop Simulation (PILS). Finally, the experiments are performed in real sea environment to prove the reliability of real-time hybrid navigation algorithm.

실해역 환경을 고려한 선박의 최적항해계획 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on Ship Path Planning Algorithm based on Real-time Ocean Environment)

  • Unlike terrestrial transportation, marine transportation should consider environment factors in order to optimize path planning. This is because, ship's path planning is greatly influenced by real-time ocean environment-sea currents, wave and wind. Therefore, in this study, we suggest a ship path planning algorithm based on real-time ocean environment using not only $A^*$ algorithm but also path smoothing method. Moreover, in order to improve objective function value, we also consider ship's moving distance based on ship's location and real-time ocean environment data on grid map. The efficiency of the suggested algorithm is proved by comparing with $A^*$ algorithm only. This algorithm can be used as a reasonable automatics control system algorithm for unmaned ship.

Wireless network design for construction of atmospheric and marine environment monitoring system using buoy

  • It has used buoy for efficient domestic farm operations and fishermen fish. Buoy uses IoT-based communication to transmit water temperature, salinity, humidity, wind speed, etc. to fishers in real time. In this paper, we utilize LoRa, which enables communication in the marine environment, to construct a network and apply it to an actual buoy for monitoring. The implemented LoRa uses the 900MHz band to configure the network. The sensor consisted of a sensor that can monitor the atmospheric environment and a sensor that can monitor the marine environment. In addition, the information received in real time will be provided to the fishing village host. The fishermen were fully aware of this and took appropriate measures to conduct sea trials.

원격 탐사 기반 해양 표면 온도의 미세 분포 차이에 따른 강설량 예측성 연구 (A Study on Predictability of Snowfall Amount due to Fine Difference of Spatial Distribution of Remote Sensing based Sea Surface Temperature)

  • In order to understand the relation between the distribution of sea surface temperature and heavy snowfall over western coast of the Korean peninsula, several numerical assessments were carried out. Numerical model used in this study is WRF, and sea surface temperature data were FNL(National Center for Environment Prediction-Final operational global analysis), RTG(Real Time Global analysis), and OSTIA(Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Sea Ice Analysis). There were produced on the basis of remote sensing data, such as a variety of satellite and in situ observation. The analysis focused on the heavy snowfall over Honam districts for 2 days from 29 December 2010. In comparison with RTG and OSTIA SST data, sensible and latent heat fluexes estimated by numerical simulation with FNL data were higher than those with RTG and OSTIA SST data, due to higher sea surface temperature of FNL. General distribution of RTG and OSTIA SST showed similar, however, fine spatial differences appear in near western coast of the peninsula. Estimated snow fall amount with OSTIA SST was occurred far from the western coast because of higher SST over sea far from coast than that near coast. On the other hand, snowfall amount near coast is larger than that over distance sea in simulation with RTG SST. The difference of snowfall amount between numerical assessment with RTG and OSTIA is induced from the fine difference of SST spatial distributions over the Yellow sea. So, the prediction accuracy of snowfall amount is strongly associated with the SST distribution not only over near coast but also over far from the western coast of the Korean peninsula.

황해 중앙부에서 수중음속의 장기간 모니터링 결과 (A result of prolonged monitoring underwater sound speed in the center of the Yellow Sea)

  • 황해에 투하된 기상청 무인해양관측기기인 Array for Real-time Geostrophic Oceanography(ARGO) 플로트 12기 중 황해 중앙부에서 약 10개월간 자율적으로 이동하며 2일 주기로 심도별 수온, 염분을 측정한 1개의 플로트를 대상으로 수온, 염분과 수중음속의 시계열 변화를 관찰하였다. 그 결과 동계 표층음파통로가 전체심도에 걸쳐 형성 후 수온약층이 발달되는 4월부터 그 두께가 축소하면서 수중음파통로가 형성됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 표층음파통로가 지속되는 중 단기간 형성된 수온역전의 영향으로 음파통로에서의 음선경로가 수온역전이 발생하지 않을 때 보다 해수면 반사가 증가되어 나타났다. 천해에서 성공적으로 자료를 수집한 ARGO 플로트의 운용사례를 바탕으로 장기간 관측이 가능한 무인 플랫폼을 황해 중앙부에 집중 운용하여 주변 환경요소를 포함한 수온역전 및 음파통로의 규모변화를 관찰한다면 음파전달 손실 예측이 용이할 것으로 기대된다.

해상공사로 인한 연안환경 모니터링시스템 (Monitoring System of Coastal Environment Changes due to the Construction on the Sea)

  • 연안환경요소를 효과적으로 모니터링하기 위하여 모델링 결과와 관측결과를 통합하여 제공하는 연안환경정보 제공 시스템이 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템은 실시간 관측 자료를 관리하기 위한 모니터링 모듈, 환경요소를 수치모의할 수 있는 모델링 모듈, 그리고 모니터링과 모델링된 결과를 그래픽으로 볼 수 있는 후처리 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 시스템 개발의 목적은 사용자가 쉽고, 편리하게 연안 환경요소에 대한 정보를 관찰할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다. 개발된 시스템을 활용하면, 연안환경요소에 대한 신속한 평가, 빠른 모니터링이 가능하여, 궁극적으로 환경오염과 자연재해로 인한 피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper introduces a sea environmental monitoring system for measuring pH,DO, level and temperature. This system is developed using a personal computer(PC) and multiple single board computers. A PC communicates with the single board computers by awireless communication method and transfers data to another personal computer for processing data by a modem. The values of pH,Do,level and temperature, which are basic components to estimate sea environment, are real-timely processed in the single board computer at each stations, and transferred to the monitoring PC. These data are graphically shown on the PC monitor and logged on the data processing system in the form of file. Using the wire and wireless communication system, user can constantly analyze the acquired data and detect the sea contamination.
