레이저 센서를 이용한 구조물의 변위 측정 장비 개발 (Development of a Sensor System to Measure Real Time Vibro Displacement of Civil Structure)

  • A sensor system was designed to measure real time vibro displacement of civil structure. The He-Ne laser is used for the displacement measuring method, because it guarantees short time stabilization, long time output power stability. Also, it guarantees simple maintenances and repairs under actual using condition. The line CCD image sensor(Tcd-142d) is used to detect the displacement of Ne-Ne laser responding to the vibro of civil structure. For accurate measurement and comparison, CDP-50 is used. Usually CDF-50 (Strain type displacement device) is used for the standard correction device of optical measurement equipments. The data processing part is consists of Optical sensor part, Wireless data transmission device, DAQp-1200, and LapView program. The displacement data of vibro from optical sensor part inputted to wireless data transmission device and then transmitted to DAQp-1200 in main control room. DAQp-1200 performs A/D conversion for the receiving data. After that the converted data inputted to computer system using LapView program for user display. The significance of this paper is to develope a convenient, accurate and lost saving real time displacement measurement system for the civil structure.

GNSS 기반의 실시간 교량변위 모니터링 시스템 적용기술 연구 (A Study on the Application Technique of Realtime Bridge Monitoring System based on GNSS)

  • 최근 다양한 중대형 교량구조물의 안전상황을 점검하기 위하여 여러 가지의 계측장비를 이용하고 있지만 대부분 일정한 주기별로 교량의 변위거동을 측정하고 확인하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지구전체를 실시간으로 관측할 수 있는 인공위성 GPS 신호를 수신하여, 교량 각 구조부의 변위와 거동 특성을 실시간으로 24시간 내내 mm 단위로 자동 계측하여, 계측 정보 및 데이터를 무선 네트워크로 전송하여 사용할 수 있도록 함으로써, 미세한 거동 변위를 자동으로 통보할 수 있게 하는 GNSS와 연계한 실시간 교량 모니터링 시스템을 적용하였다. 이를 위하여 실제로 중대형의 노후화된 교량상부에 GNSS 수신기를 설치하여 그 측량자료를 수신하여 분석하고, USN과 동시에 측정하여 3차원의 위치정보로 나타내어 교량변위를 실시간으로 모니터링 할 수 있는 실험연구를 실시하였다 그 결과, 한 측정지점에서 하루의 측정 시간에서도 약 0.027~0.037m에서 수직변위가 반복되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • This study discusses a non-contact optical technique, electronic speckle pattern interformetry(ESPI), that is well suited for in-plane and out-of-plane deformation measurement. However, the existing ESPI methods that are based on dual-exposure, real-time and time-average method have difficulties for accurate measurement of structure, due to irregular intensity and shake of phase. Therefore, phase shifting method has been proposed in order to solve this problem. About the method, the path of reference light in interferometry is shifted and added to least square fitting method to make the improvement in distinction and precision. This proposed method is applied to measure in -plane displacement that is compared with the previous method. Also, Used as specimen AS4/PE따 [30/=30/90]s was analyzed by ESPI based on real-time to determine the characteristics of vibration under no-load and tension. These results are quantitatively compared with those of FEM analysis inmode shapes.

  • This paper introduces a measurement system that measures behavior and electrical characteristics of overhead contact line irregular sections in real-time. For verification, we developed a prototype of the real-time overhead contact line irregular section behavior measurement system and a monitoring system for field tests. The current and temperature of contact wires and messenger wires were measured real-time by applying the system at KTX a commercial line. Therefore, acquiring data is possible with the developed system and this system that measures one of the fundamental and key factors, the catenary current, should be applicable to various areas such as detecting characteristics for designing overhead contact lines, enhancing speed, and enhancing energy.

  • The holographic measurement techniques can be applied to various industrial fields such as automobile, airplane, construction, electronics, medical, mechanics and physics. The visualization of fluids is very important in aerodynamics, heat transfer and stress analysis. There are classically optical methods such as shadowgraph, schlieren method, and Mach-Zehnder interferometry for visualizing the fluid flow phenomena. But, it is difficult to understand the continuous state of fluids well in those methods. In this study, the real-time holographic interferometer with high-speed camera is applied to the flow visualization. In addition, collimated laser beam and rotating wedge are used for recording and formation of carrier fringes, respectively.

  • We introduce a method of color-coded illumination that is simple and fast. The purpose of this study is the real-time shape measurement of three-dimensional object by using color-coded information. The object is illuminated by a prism color spectrum. A color spectrum of a white-light source is imaged onto the object by illumination from one certain direction. The object is observed by a color CCD camera from a direction of observation, which is different from the direction of illumination. It can be evaluated by the red, blue, green using a inherence colors of hue value are good point.

  • The cold forging process induces material deformation in an enclosed space, generating a very high forging load. Therefore, it is mainly designed as a multi-stage process, and fatigue failure occurs in forging die due to cyclic load. Studies have been conducted previously to quantitatively predict the fatigue limit of cold forging dies, however, there was a limit to field application due to the large error range and the need for expert intervention. To solve this problem, we conducted a study on the introduction of a real-time forging load measurement technology and an automated system for quantitative prediction of die life cycle. As a result, it was possible to reduce the error range of the quantitative prediction of die life cycle to within ±7%, and it became possible to use the die life cycle calculation algorithm into an automated system.

  • In this study, Real-time estimation and compensation procedure are developed for the laser interferometer. This system is designed with homodyne quadrature-phase detection method using the Laser interferometer. The errors in this system are due to noise, disturbance and undefined model dynamics. DSP(Digital Signal Processor) is applied for real time compensation of these errors. This estimator and compensation is verified with measurement test.

실시간 공정신호를 통한 용접공정 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Welding Process Algorithm through Real-time Current Waveform Analysis)

  • The current waveform was analysed to monitor the weld quality in real time process. The acquired current waveform was discretely analysed for the top and bottom limits of peaks as well as the pulse frequency measurement. Fast Fourier Transform was implemented in the program to monitor the pulse frequency in real time. The developed algorithm or program was tested for the validation purpose. The cross-section of weld profile was compared to the current waveform profile to correlate the monitored signal and the actual parts. Pulse frequency was also used as auxiliary tool for the quality monitoring. Based on the results, it was possible to evaluate the quality of welding by measure the current waveform profile and frequency measurement.
