If an arithmetic progression F of length 2n and the number k with 2k$\leq$n are give, can we find two monic polynomials with the same degrees whose set of all zeros form F such that both the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros are 2k? We will consider the case that both the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros are two. Moreover, we will see the fundamental relation between the number of bad pairs and the number of nonreal zeros, and we will show that the polynomial in x where the coefficient of x(sup)k is the number of sequences having 2k bad pairs has all zeros real and negative.

Paper focuses on comparison between two different orifice plate configurations (plate number 1 and plate number 2) used as cavitating device in the hydrodynamic cavitation reactor for improving pollutant removal efficiencies. Effect of four different parameters such as hydraulic characteristics (in terms of range of flow rates, orifice velocities, cavitation number at different inlet pressures); cavitation number (in range of 5.76-0.35 for plate number 1 and 1.20-0.35 for plate number 2); inlet pressure (2-8 bars) and reaction time (0 to 60 min) in terms of chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal and chlorpyrifos degradation has been studied and compared. Optimum inlet pressure of 5 bars exists for degradation of pollutants for both the plates. It is found that geometry of orifice plate plays important role in removal efficiencies of pollutant. Results obtained confirmed that orifice plate 1 with configuration of 1.5 mm 17 holes; cavitational number of 1.54 performed better with around 60% COD and 98% chlorpyrifos removal as compared to orifice plate 2 having configuration of 2 mm single hole; cavitational number of 0.53 with 40% COD and 96% chlorpyrifos in 2 h duration time.

We find a lower bound on the number of real/inert imagi-nary/ramified imaginary quadratic extensions of the function field $\mathbb{F}_q(t)$ whose ideal class groups have an element of a fixed order, where $q$ is a power of 2.

Biological specimens contain several components and multilinear models are very useful in analyzing these data. After fitting the model the number of components are determined by the change of mean squared error however this method is quite rule of thumb. in this paper we suggest a measure to decide the number of components based on the relative change of to mean squared error. Simulations are done and applications to real data set are given as illustrations.

This paper proposes the Minimum-Distance Classification(MDC) processor using the Residue Number System(RNS). The proposed MDC Processor in this paper is efficient for real-time pattern clustering application and illustrate satisfiable error rate in application experiments of image segmentation but error rate increase as cluster number do.

We research properties of ternary numbers with values in ${\Lambda}(2)$. Also, we represent dual ternary numbers in the sense of Clifford algebras of real six dimensional spaces. We give generation theorems in dual ternary number systems in view of Clifford analysis, and obtain Cauchy theorems with respect to dual ternary numbers.

SASW 실험으로 지반의 전단강성 구조를 구하는 해석과정에 있어서 위상속도의 계산은 SASW 실험의 신뢰도를 좌우하는 매우 중요한 단계이다. 기존의 SASW 자료 분석기법 중 위상속도의 계산은 전문가적 경험을 이용한 위상각 스펙트럼의 분석이 선행되어야 하는데, 위상각 스펙트럼 분석 과정의 난해성은 SASW 기법의 일반화에 장애가 되어 왔었다. 본 연구에서는 SASW 기법에 적용가능하고, 위상속도 계산에 전문가적 경험을 배제할 수 있으며, 자동화함으로써 효율성을 제고할 수 있는 위상속도 계산 기법을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법은 다층구조 지반에서의 표면파의 주파수파수 특성을 이용하였으며, 그 개념에 기초하여 주파수파수 기법(Frequency-Wave Number Technique)이라고 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 기법의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위하여, SASW 수치실험을 수행하였다. 그리고 SASW 수치실험에 의해 구한 이론 전달함수로부터 위상속도를 계산하여, 위상각전개법으로 구한 위상속도와 비교 검토하였다. 또한, 경기도$\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$ 지구에서 수행한 SASW 실험자료에 대해 본 연구에서 제안한 기법을 적용하여 현장적용성 및 실용성을 확인하였다.

Massive numbers of users of social networks share various types of information such as opinions, news, and ideas in real time. As a new form of social network, Twitter is a particularly useful information source. Studying influence can help us better understand the role of social networks. The popularity of social networks like Twitter is primarily measured by the number of followers. The number of followers in Twitter and the number of users exposed to news media are important factors in measuring influence. We chose Twitter and the New York Times as representative media to analyze the influence and present an empirical analysis of these datasets. When the correlation between the number of followers in Twitter and the number of users exposed to the New York Times is computed, the result is moderately high. The correlation between the number of users exposed to the New York Times and the number of sections including the users on it, was found to be very high. We measure the normalized influence score using our proposed expression based on the two correlation coefficients.

The vision system model used for this study involves the six parameters that permits a kind of adaptability in that relationship between the camera space location of manipulable visual cues and the vector of robot joint coordinates is estimated in real time. Also this vision control method requires the number of cameras to transform 2-D camera plane from 3-D physical space, and be used irrespective of location of cameras, if visual cues are displayed in the same camera plane. Thus, this study is to investigate the optimal number of cameras used for the developed vision control system according to the change of the number of cameras. This study is processed in the two ways : a) effectiveness of vision system model b) optimal number of cameras. These results show the evidence of the adaptability of the developed vision control method using the optimal number of cameras.

As internet is spreaded widely, the number of cyber terror using hacking and virus is increased. Also the hacking to the internet shopping mall go on increasing. If the large shopping mall is attacked by the hacker, a number of user's information are exposed to the hacker. The private information as like a resident registration number, user's real name, the date of user's birth, the mobile phone number, the office phone number / address, the home phone number / address and so on include the information. These information are used in the phishing e-mails / call and spam. And them are selling and buying maliciously. The large internet shopping mall 'auction' was hacked in April, 2008. After the incident, this paper suggested a countermeasures on the hacking for the internet shopping mall. The technical item and political item are included among the countermeasures. The countermeasures can protect the hacking not only the internet shopping mall but also the web sites basically.
