이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 학교도서관 및 독서교육 관련 조례를 분석하여 개선점을 논의하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 현재 시 도교육청에서 제정하여 운영하는 관련 조례 건을 분석하였다. 학교도서관 조례, 독서교육 조례, 학교도서관/독서교육 조례로 구분하여 내용 구성요소를 비교하였고, 조례의 내용을 교육감과 교장의 책무, 위원회와 전담부서, 독서진흥 및 독서교육, 학교도서관 등 4개 영역으로 나누어 분석하였다. 이 분석을 토대로 조례의 개선 방향을 실효성 제고, 통합형 조례 운영, 교육과정 연계성 강화, 정보활용교육 원리 반영 등의 측면에서 논의하였다.

Purpose - Corporate reading management requires employees capable of doing their job since employee performance is crucial to the firm's profitability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the positive effects of corporate reading management on employee management. It focuses on factors increasing employee productivity and the impacts corporate management brings about on the overall productivity of any kind of company. Research design, Data, and methodology - The current authors have investigated and conducted the qualitative content analysis (QCA) to obtain the adequate textual dataset in the prior and current literature. One of the primary benefits of doing research using content analysis is that it enables the researcher to employ a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Result - Based on the review of the prior literature, the present authors found that there are four corporate reading management solutions to improve employee performance, following those instructions - A. Increased Motivation and Productivity, B. Employee Development, C. Businesses' Objective Alignment, and D. Improved Work Environment. Conclusion - This study addressed and figured out different factors that reading corporate can apply to influence employee performance, thus increasing the company's productivity. Future research should evaluate the adverse effects businesses might face from unfavorable working environments. The research also needed to address how ethics influences employee performance.

이 연구는 우리나라 지방자치단체의 자치법규인 독서문화진흥을 위한 조례의 제정과 시행에 대한 현황과 내용을 조사 분석한 후 조례와 규칙의 운영에 대한 효율적인 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰과 관련 조례를 조사 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 1) 전국 245개 광역 및 기초자치단체가 운영 중인 독서관련 자치법규는 조례가 77건, 규칙이 7건으로 나타났다. 2) 지자체와 교육지자체의 조례와 규칙명칭이 다양하게 나타나고 있다. 3) 조례와 규칙의 명칭에 따라 내용의 구성요소가 다양하게 나타나고 있으며, 같은 조례 규칙의 명칭을 부여하고 있음에도 서로 다른 구성요소를 가지고 있다. 4) 현재까지 폐지된 지자체 독서관련 자치법규는 조례 10건, 훈령 2건으로 나타났다. 이에 독서문화진흥정책의 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하면 1) 독서진흥정책 홍보를 통한 인지도를 개선해야 한다. 2) 지자체의 독서진흥의 환경을 고려한 최적의 자치법규 조례명칭을 부여해야 하며, 조례 규칙의 내용은 통일성을 가져야 한다. 3) 조례는 폐지하기에 앞서 폐지 후 나타난 문제점을 면밀히 살펴본 후, 주민들이나 전문가들의 의견을 충분히 수렴한 후 대체 자치법규를 제정하여야 한다.

현 정부에서는 창의인재육성을 위한 핵심 교육정책으로서 중학교를 대상으로 2013년도부터 자유학기제를 도입하여 2016년에는 모든 중학교에서 전면 실시하고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 자유학기제를 위한 도서관기반 독서문화 프로그램 모형을 개발하여 보급하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 학생, 교사, 학부모, 도서관 사서를 대상으로 독서문화 프로그램 요구 조사를 실시하여 이를 바탕으로 자유학기제 자율과정 구성에 따른 4가지 영역(진로탐색활동, 동아리활동, 예술 체육활동, 주제선택활동)의 도서관 기반 독서문화 프로그램을 개발하였다.

Through this study, I developed a new-styled desk for public reading in library in consideration of the characteristics of the company "KIFURS Co., Ltd." established and branded by a part of the members of the association 'Gyeonggi-Incheon Furniture Industry Cooperative', in the background of growing library-furniture market situation according to the government policy and the related participations of competitive companies. The differentially designed product was herein presented by introducing the function of office furniture and related material, by giving the existing product some improvements on the basis of the domestic and international data searching. The characteristic of the developed product is that the basic structure of the desk for public reading is easy to assemble & disassemble and also variable to be extended & modified. This basic structure is available to be mass production and to be pricewise through using aluminum. Furthermore it can be used as other library-furniture and office furniture, too. Also the luxury image was pursued by modern shape and different material, unlike the existing library-furniture.

이 연구는 독서동아리에 대한 사회적 지원이 확대되고 있는 상황에서, 지자체의 지원을 받고 운영된 독서동아리를 사례로 실제 운영현황은 물론 정책적 지원이 독서동아리 활동에 얼마나 유용한지에 대한 검증작업을 수행해보고, 향후 독서동아리 활성화를 위해 해결해야 할 과제가 무엇인지 논의하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 (1) 독서동아리의 구성요건과 독서동아리 참여 현황을 전반적으로 살펴보고, (2) 독서동아리의 운영실태를 바탕으로 동아리 회원의 관점에서 살펴본 동아리 활동의 만족도를 분석해봄으로써 지금까지의 성과와 지원활동의 의미를 확인하면서 (3) 향후 독서동아리 활성화를 위해 검토하고 준비해야할 과제가 무엇인지에 대해 논의하였다. 논의에 필요한 데이터의 수집을 위해 A지자체의 지원을 받은 15개 독서동아리 회원을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 빈도분석을 이용하여 분석하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 경상남도 18개 시군의 지역별 독서문화의 균형 발전을 도모하기 위해 경상남도의 독서문화 실태 및 인프라 조사를 통해 도내 도서관의 독서문화진흥 활성화 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경상남도 독서문화 인프라 조사 및 경남도민의 독서실태 분석, 경남지역 독서문화진흥 사업성과 분석, 분야별 독서문화진흥 관련 전문가 의견 수렴 등을 반영, 종합하여 경상남도 독서문화진흥 활성화 방안을 6가지로 제시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. ① 경남 독서문화진흥 거버넌스 구축, ② 경남 독서문화진흥위원회 구성 및 독서문화진흥 수립·시행 등의 평가 역할 근거 마련, ③ 지역별 특성화된 장서 구성 및 독서문화 프로그램 마련, ④ 경남대표도서관과 경남교육청 간 서비스 대상 및 역할 분담 체계화, ⑤ 경남대표도서관과 18개 시군 지자체 도서관 간의 역할 분담 체계화, ⑥ 경남 및 18개 시군 지자체들의 독서문화진흥정책 근거 마련 및 관련 법제에 기반한 협력 지원 시스템 구축.

The main purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of the hours spent on book-reading on the relationship between academic achievement and the Key Competency of Acting Autonomously. This study utilized data from the 'Korean Assessment of the Key Competencies of Youth in 2009', which was conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute. The participants were 2,781 elementary school students, 2,770 middle school students and 3,599 high school students who were selected from 12 areas of Korea. The data was analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation coefficients and also through linear regression analysis. The results indicated that 1) academic achievement and the hours spent in book-reading was positively correlated to the competency of acting autonomously, 2) the effect of academic achievement on the competency of acting autonomously was partially mediated by the hours spent in book-reading, 3) and the mediating effect was the most influential when it came to elementary students, followed next by middle school and then finally high school students.

In present study, using 1572 low-income families and 266 Head Start teachers from Family and Child Experiences Survey (FACES) in the U.S., we examined the effects of mothers' reading and the characteristics of interaction between teacher-child interaction on 4-and 5-year-olds' cognitive development represented by their verbal and numerical abilities. Frequencies of mothers' reading at home consistently predicted higher scores of children's Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test and Woodcock Johnson Applied Problems. Teachers' sensitivity and permissiveness in their interactions with children in classroom were positively related to children's verbal abilities and teachers' sensitivity predicted better numerical abilities of children after controlling for mothers' reading and the characteristics of family and teacher. The findings shed light on the contributions of teacher behaviors and familial factors to children's cognitive development calling for attention to the need for parent education on cognitively stimulating family environments and continuing education for early childhood teachers focusing on quality interactions with young children.

어린이 청소년기부터 체계적인 독서문화 활동을 통해 독서습관을 배양하여 평생교육으로 유도하는 국가적인 독서문화 진흥 방안이 절실하다. 본 연구의 목적은 어린이 청소년으로 하여금 독서의 즐거움을 통한 독서의 생활화를 유도하고 건전한 독서문화가 전개될 수 있도록 보다 조직적이고 효율적인 민 관 협력체계의 제도적 기반 구축을 통한 국가적 차원의 선진적 독서문화 진흥 모델 정립하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 1) 문헌조사, 2) 사례조사, 3) 설문조사, 4) 전문가 회의 및 공청회 등의 연구방법을 채택하였으며, 그 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 어린이 청소년 독서문화 진흥 기본 정책 방향 수립, 2) 어린이 청소년 독서문화 환경 인프라 구축, 3) 어린이 청소년 독서문화 진흥 전담조직 구성, 4) 어린이 청소년 독서문화 진흥을 위한 비전, 목표, 추진전략 및 과제 제시.
