The farmers' nutritional condition can not be compared with other citizens according to the Korean National Health & Nutrition Examination Survey, and based on other literature reviews. These farmers have either less access to educational materials or have no idea and do not understand the importance of nutritional education. The purpose of this study is to develop an appropriate reading material on nutrition to educate the farmers. To do this, the first step was to gather sufficient available materials for the review of related literature. Second, a survey was conducted to assess the needs of farmers and extension workers for educational materials on nutrition. The results showed that the farmers preferred the following topics: Menu Planning or Menu for Health' (62.1%), Dietary Assessment (49.7%), Dietary Guideline for Farmers (35.7%), and Cooking Method and Recipe (32.6%). They also preferred the booklet type (62.7%). These materials basically contained literature review, lesson plan, and needs assessment. The booklets contained in detail: 1) Dietary assessment - nutritional assessment, and assessment of meal 2) Dietary guidelines for farmers - reduce salt intakes, eat calcium-rich foods, ideal body weight, reduce alcohol-drinking and smoking, tips on eating soybean, eat meat and fish, tips on eating fruits, eat shellfish and seaweeds, and tips on eating dietary fibers, and 3) Plan a meal - menu planning and sample menu by farming patterns. Finally, the text of the final material was improved by the graphic designer using Quark Express 3.3, Photoshop 6.0, Illustrator 10.0, and Painter 8.0. The booklet has 46 pages and divided into three chapters. This contains simple and affordable recipes and provides some helpful tips for dietary and changing lifestyles. This booklet is made available for farmers and other groups interested in nutrition education.

본 연구는 수학적 추론, 문제해결, 의사소통과 관련된 평가 문항을 소개하고, 평가 문항에 대한 5 학년 학생들의 반응을 보다 심층적으로 분석한 연구이다. 수학적 추론은 연역 추론, 귀납 추론, 유비 추론으로, 문제해결은 외적 문제해결과 내적 문제해결로, 의사소통은 말하기, 읽기, 쓰기, 듣기로 나누어 각각의 예시 문항과 학생들의 반응을 소개하였다. 수학적 추론 문항은 각각의 추론 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 문항의 개발이 중요하며, 5학년 학생들 중 일부는 이러한 능력을 보여주었다. 의사소통의 각각의 형식보다는 문항에 내재된 수학적 상황이 학생들의 반응에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구로부터 수학 평가 문항에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요하고, 수학 평가에서 인지적 영역의 설정과 활용 방안에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 수학 평가 문항 개발과 관련된 교사 연수의 필요성을 제안하였다.

Background: Same-day sputum microcopy is recommended in areas where sputum smear microscopy external quality assessment (EQA) is effectively implemented and sturdy. In Addis Ababa, the status of EQA and drop-out of same-day sputum smear microcopy has not yet been assessed. The objective of this study was to assess the quality of same-day sputum smear microscopy and diagnostic drop-out of presumptive tuberculosis (TB) patients in health facilities (HFs) across Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Methods: Amulti-analysis was conducted from September 2016 to July 2017 to determine the status of external quality assessment and diagnostic drop-out of presumptive TB patients registered for same-day sputum smear microscopy. Data was coded and entered in Microsoft Excel, and subsequently transferred and analyzed using SPSS version 20.0. Results: The drop-out of same-day sputum smear microscopy was 209 (6.2%). More than 33% of the specimens collected for purposes of same-day sputum smears were of poor quality. Among the selected HFs for the study: 13 (46.4%) used filter reagents prior to sputum smear staining while 75% of the selected HFs for the study used smear microscopy services interruption in a year. The sensitivity and specificity of the HFs participating in regional quality assessment scheme for the diagnosis of TB was 97.4% and 99.6%, respectively. Conclusion: The diagnostic drop-out of same-day sputum smear microscopy was high in Addis Ababa. Strengthening EQA, competency-based laboratory professionals training on sputum smear microscopy might reduce the reading errors in sputum smear. Awareness creation of the community on the benefits gained from completion of specimen provision for the same-day approach decreases diagnostic drop-out and enhances TB control program.

공공도서관 문화프로그램에 대한 중요성이 커짐에 따라 그 경제적 효과에 대하여 전반적으로 평가할 필요성이 제기되어 왔다. 본 연구는 문화프로그램의 경제적 가치를 분석하기 위한 방법으로 기존에 사용되어 온 가상가치평가법의 대안으로 DM 포맷과 IBM 포맷을 제안하였다. 또한 이 모형을 공공도서관 이 적용할 수 있도록 사례분석을 통해 그 과정을 구체적으로 설명하고 있다. 이 연구는 가상가치평가법의 바이어스를 최대한 감소함으로써 공공도서관의 정확한 가치를 평가할 수 있는 기본 틀을 마련하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.

This study aims to define the isochronism of English feet. To assess the average value of moras of a foot, the study is, first, to set up a way of counting the number of the moras on the extrametricality with some modifications. Secondly, with the measurement of the average duration of feet of Shakespeare's 120 sonnets through Praat (version 4.030, 2002), it clarifies the foot isochronism in English. With the two ways of measuring the isochronism, it clarifies the fact the foot isochronism permits the difference scope of $2.2{\mu}'s$ (moras) to $1.8{\mu}'s$, that is, $22{\mu}'s$ to $18{\mu}'s$ per line, while the acoustic assessment shows the isochronically congnitive gap of 302-447msec. per foot, or 4,461msec. to 3,019msec. per line in case of iambic pentameter in English poetry.

The PISA(Program for International Student Assessment), an international comparative study supervised by OECD, aims at producing reliable and internationally comparable indicators of students' literacy in reading, mathematics, and science. In mathematical literacy, Korean students ranked the 2nd out of the 32 participating countries in PISA. This result is very encouraging in the sense that the scores in the mathematical literacy are a forecasting indicator for the mathematical level of future citizens who are supposed to lead their countries in every field. However, Korean students showed the largest gender difference in mathematical literacy, indicating that male students achieved significantly higher scores than female counterparts. With the consideration that mathematics plays a key role in determining the overall achievement level and influences on the long-term career opportunities, it is necessary to pay more attention to the gender difference in mathematical literacy, and make an effort to reduce it to enhance the overall intelligence level of Korean human resources.

21세기 지식정보시대 공공도서관이 사회적으로 인정받고 발전의 기반을 마련하기 위해서는 우선 도서관 측에서 사회적 역할을 명확하게 인식하고 이를 효과적으로 수행해야 한다. 본고에서는 이러한 입장에서 도서관의 바람직한 사회적 역할 수행 방안으로 도서관 권리선언 제정, 독서실 기능 폐지, 서비스 품질 향상을 위한 평가제도 개선 및 인증제도 도입, 도서관 장서의 개선을 제안하였다.

An attempt has been made to measure existing steel stress using magnetoelasticity. A device has been developed and used for the measurement of magnetism in response to the deformation of a steel bar. The proposed technique can be used for the assessment of existing reinforced concrete structures by the measurements of steel stress embedded inside concrete. A traditional technique requires to break the existing steel bar to measure existing strain. However, the proposed technique is developed to measure the stress without damaging the steel bar. A successful application of magnetoelasticity depends on the establishment of relationship between elastic and magnetic response due to loading. To investigate the correlation between the two, steel bars are loaded in tension under uniaxial loading while the magnetic reading is recorded. Based on the test results, equations are suggested to predict stress for steel bars with different diameters.

In contrast to the high performance in mathematics, Korean students possess extremely low level of interest in mathematics. On the other hand, Korea's highest top 5% students are not on a par with the best students in New Zealand, Japan, Swiss, Australia, and England. This finding urges Korean education to put serious efforts to pursue academic excellence. Overall, PISA results suggest that Korean mathematics education has been effective and efficient. Korean education system should set goals to meet the world standard and the challenges of the lifelong teaming society.

The full-field digital mammography (FFDM), which has been known as a digital breast imaging system, carries out more outstanding performance than the screen-film mammography in overall image quality, skin & nipple, description of pectoral muscle and expression of micro-calcification. Thus, in this thesis, I perform experiments for both the enhancement of image quality and accurate estimation of the result in question, when detecting the very tiny-sized lesions in mammography. The image of digital breast X-rays is the important diagnostic tool for detecting early breast cancer and micro calcification lesion. The experiment of how much compression rate has an effect on the result of diagnosis in the case of microcalcification lesion, with JPEG2000 40:1 compression and over 50% enlargement led to obscure or definitely unacceptable diagnostic results is performed. And in another study of assessment of PSNR degree. I recognized the importance of standardized management system in mammography, where not to mention the accurate reading of the image has the most crucial role in diagnosis
