낙동강 유역에서의 확정론적 및 추계학적 수질해석 (Deterministic and Stochastic Water Quality Analysis in the Nakdong River)

  • 하천에서의 수질변동을 예측하기 위해 FOEA(First-Order Error-Analysis)와 Monte Carlo 모의를 적용한 추계학적 모형을 개발하였다. 영향메트릭스(Influential matrix)를 이용한 민감도 분석을 실시하여 주요 반응계수를 결정하였고, BFGS(Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno) 최적화 기법을 사용하여 주요 반응계수 값을 산정하였다. 본 모형을 확정론적 수질해석과 동일한 실제 하도구간에 적용하여 추계학적 수질해석을 실시하였고, 그 결과는 확정론적 해석결과와 잘 일치하였다. 유량과 수질, 반응계수 등에 포함된 불확실도가 하류단의 불확실도에 끼치는 영향을 산정하기 위해 상류단과 지류의 유량 및 수질에 대한 불확실도, 그리고 반응계수의 불확실도에 대한 분석과정이 모형에 포함되었다. 모의수행 결과로부터 각 변수들이 가지고 있는 불확실도가 총 불확실도에 끼치는 영향에 대한 기여도를 산정 할 수 있었다.

흰쥐의 술 후 통증 모델에서 T형 칼슘 통로 차단제인 Ethosuximide와 Mibefradil의 항통각과민 효과 (Antihyperalgesic Effects of Ethosuximide and Mibefradil, T-type Voltage Activated Calcium Channel Blockers, in a Rat Model of Postoperative Pain)

  • Background: A correlation between a T-type voltage activated calcium channel (VACC) and pain mechanism has not yet been established. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of ethosuximide and mibefradil, representative selective T-type VACC blockers on postoperative pain using an incisional pain model of rats. Methods: After performing a plantar incision, rats were stabilized on plastic mesh for 2 hours. Then, the rats were injected with ethosuximide or mibefradil, intraperitoneally and intrathecally. The level of withdrawal threshold to the von Frey filament near the incision site was determined and the dose response curves were obtained. Results: After an intraperitoneal ethosuximide or mibefradil injection, the dose-response curve showed a dose-dependent increase of the threshold in a withdrawal reaction. After an intrathecal injection of ethosuximide, the threshold of a withdrawal reaction to mechanical stimulation increased and the increase was dose-dependent. After an intrathecal injection of mibefradil, no change occurred in either the threshold of a withdrawal reaction to mechanical stimulation or a dose-response curve. Conclusions: The T-type VACC blockers in a rat model of postoperative pain showed the antihyperalgesic effect. This effect might be due to blockade of T-type VACC, which was distributed in the peripheral nociceptors or at the supraspinal level. Further studies of the effect of T-type VACC on a pain transmission mechanism at the spinal cord level would be needed.

실대형 모형 실험을 이용한 강관합성 말뚝의 수평 거동 특성 평가 (Assessment of Lateral Behavior of Steel-concrete Composite Piles Using Full-scale Model Tests)

  • 본 연구에서는 수평하중을 받는 강관합성 말뚝의 역학적 특성을 평가하기 위하여 서로 다른 단면 특성을 가진 모형 말뚝에 대하여 실내 모형 실험을 수행하였다. 지반 반력의 효율적인 모사를 위하여 스프링 장치를 이용한 지반 반력 시스템을 개발하였으며, 축하중 및 수평하중을 독립적으로 재하할 수 있는 하중 재하 시스템을 적용하여 사용하중 상태에서의 말뚝의 수평방향 거동 특성을 평가하였다. 강관합성 말뚝은 기존의 현장타설 말뚝에 비하여 증가된 수평저항 특성을 보여주며, 강관 합성 효과에 의하여 강관 및 철근 콘크리트의 수치합 보다 큰 수평 극한강도를 발휘하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 전단 연결재의 사용에 따른 강관-콘크리트의 일체화 거동을 검토하였으며, 고강도 콘크리트의 사용에 따른 강관합성 말뚝의 하중 지지성능을 평가하였다. 이와 함께, 강관합성 말뚝의 강관에 의한 내부 철근망의 대체 가능성 여부를 평가하였다.

  • The multiprocess dynamic model provides a good framework for the modeling and analysis of the time series that contains outliers and is subject to abrupt changes in pattern. In this paper we consider the multiprocess discount generalized model with parameters having a dependent non-linear structure. This model has nice properties such as insensitivity to outliers and quick reaction to abrupt change of pattern in parameters.

  • In this paper we consider the multiprocess dynamic normal model with parameters having a time dependent non-linear structure. We develop and study the recursive estimation procedure for the proposed model with normality assumption. It turns out thst the proposed model has nice properties such as insensitivity to outliers and quick reaction to abrupt changes of pattern.

SEI 성장 모델을 이용한 리튬 이온 배터리의 캘린더 노화 연구 (Study of the Calendar Aging of Lithium-Ion Batteries Using SEI Growth Models)

  • 전기화학 기반의 SEI 성장 모델을 이용하여 리튬이온 배터리의 캘린더 노화 및 장기 수명을 예측하였다. 네 가지 유형의 장기 SEI 성장 모델(용매 확산 제한 모델, 전자 이동 제한 모델, 리튬-간극 확산 제한 모델, 반응 제한 모델)을 적용하여 수치해석이 이루어졌고, 캘린더 에이징 동안의 용량 감소와 리튬 재고 손실을 계산하였다. 수치해석 결과, 전자 이동 제한 모델과 리튬-간극 확산 제한 모델이 낮은 용량 감소를 보였으며, 용매 확산 제한 모델과 반응 제한 모델은 10년이내에 80%의 용량 감소를 보였다. 캘린더 노화 중 저온 보관 시 SEI의 성장을 저하시켜 용량 감소가 적었다. 사이클링 중 C-rate가 증가할수록 SEI 두께 증가로 수명 하락이 크게 나타났으나 그 차이는 크지 않았다.

충진재의 생분해도가 돈분 퇴비화 효율에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of the Biodegradability of the Composting Bulking Agent in the Swine Manure-Composting)

  • A study on the effect of the biodegradability of the composting bulking agent in the swine manurecomposting was carried out in a batch system. The purpose of this study is to prove the effect of the biodegradability of the composting-bulking agent on the efficiency of the composting. In this study, it is the lignins: Klason-Lignin in the volatile solid that the index of the biodegradability of the composting-material mixes which are pig manure-rice straw pig manure-sawdusts pig manuremixture of rice and ricestraw (2:1) pig manure-mixture of rice and sawdust (1:1). It was carried out in the same condition (moisture contents, air supply rate, C/N ratio, initial input weight, porosity-structure) except the biodegradability of the raw material mixes. One of the results from this study is that the biodegradability of the bulking agent in the sense of the VS lignin content is not an insignificant factor in composting reaction. The less contents of the lignin in VS, the more efficiencies of the cornposting reaction in use of these parameters for the degree of the reaction: temperature, the trends of the ash contents, the change pattern of the C/N ratio. Under some assumptions, it is able to induce rough model on the relation of the VS lignin contents with the efficiency of the degradability. In this model, the biodegradability of the bulking agent is not an insignificant factor however, it is flexible within some degrees of range.

상수처리시스템의 응집제 주입공정 모델링에 관한 연구 (A study on coagulant dosing process in water purification system)

  • In the water purification plant, chemicals are injected for quick purification of raw water. It is clear that the amount of chemicals intrinsically depends on the water quality such as turbidity, temperature, pH and alkalinity etc. However, the process of chemical reaction to improve water quality by the chemicals is not yet fully clarified nor quantified. The feedback signal in the process of coagulant dosage, which should be measured (through the sensor of the plant) to compute the appropriate amount of chemicals, is also not available. Most traditional methods focus on judging the conditions of purifying reaction and determine the amounts of chemicals through manual operation of field experts or jar-test results. This paper presents the method of deriving the optimum dosing rate of coagulant, PAC(Polymerized Aluminium Chloride) for coagulant dosing process in water purification system. A neural network model is developed for coagulant dosing and purifying process. The optimum coagulant dosing rate can be derived the neural network model. Conventionally, four input variables (turbidity, temperature, pH, alkalinity of raw water) are known to be related to the process, while considering the relationships to the reaction of coagulation and flocculation. Also, the turbidity in flocculator is regarded as a new input variable. And the genetic algorithm is utilized to identify the neural network structure. The ability of the proposed scheme validated through the field test is proved to be of considerable practical value.

대기내 발생하는 복잡한 광화학반응에 대한 수치실험 (Numerical Simulation of Complicated Photochemical Reactions Occurring in the Atmosphere)

  • In predicting oxidants concentration, the most important fact is to select a suitable photochemical reaction mechanism. Sensitivity analysis of $O_3$ and other important photochemical oxidants concentrations was conducted by using CBM-IV model. The predicted oxidants concentration was considerably related with the initial concentration of formaldehyde, $[NO_2]/[NO],\;NO_x$, RH and RCHO. As the initial concentration of formaldehyde increased, concentration of $NO_2$ increased. $O_3$ concentration was proportional to the $[NO_2]/[NO]$ ratio. When the initial concentrations of RH and RCHO were high, photochemical reaction was more reactive, including more rapid conversion of NO to $NO_2$ and increased oxidants. Also, the sensitivities of ozone formation to rate constants, $K_l,\;K_2\;and\;K_3$ in the $NO_2$ photolysis were studied.

예조건화기법을 이용한 유동장 및 반응유동장의 계산 (Computation of Non-reacting and Reacting Flow-Fields Using a Preconditioning Method)

  • In this paper, non-reacting and reacting flowfields were computed using a preconditioned Navier-Stokes solver. The preconditioning technique of Merkle et al. and TVD scheme or Chakravarthy and Osher was employed and the results obtained using developed code have a good agreement with the previous results and experimental data. The preconditioned Wavier-Stokes equation set with low Reynolds number $\kappa-\epsilon$ equation and species continuity equations, are discretized with strongly implicit manner and time integrated with LU-SSOR scheme. For the purpose of treating unsteady problem the duel-time stepping scheme was employed. For the validation of the code in incompressible flow regime, steady driven square cavity flow was considered and calculation result shows reasonably good agreement with the result of incompressible code. Shock wave/boundary layer interaction problem was considered to show the shock capturing performance of preconditioned-TVD scheme. To validate unsteady flow, acoustic oscillation problem was calculated, and supersonic premix flame of $H_2$-air reaction problem which is calculated with turbulence model, 9-species/18-reaction step reaction model, shows reasonable agreement with the previous results. As a result, the preconditioning method has an advantage to calculate incompressible and compressible flow through one code and preconditioned solver easily developed from standard compressible code with minor efforts. But additional computational time and computer memory is required due to preconditioning matrix.
