대륙철도 운행을 위한 기술적 상호운용성에 대한 계량적 분석 (Quantitative analysis on the technical interoperability between railway systems for the operation of trans-continental railways)

  • 최근 한국이 OSJD(Organization for Cooperation of Railway) 정회원에 가입함에 따라 우리나라도 OSJD의 협약을 적용받을 수 있어 소프트웨어적으로는 대륙철도와 연결되었다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 오랜 세월 각 주변국들의 철도시스템들이 개별적으로 개발되고 운용된 결과 하드웨어적으로는 제약이 있어 현 상태의 철도시스템의 기술적 상호운용성에 대한 진단이 필요하고 장기적으로 상호운용성을 향상시키기 위한 방안 또한 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현 상태의 대륙철도 국가들의 철도시스템의 기술적 상호운용성을 유럽에서 활용하였던 기술적 상호운용성 기준인 TSI(Technical Specifications for Interoperability)를 기준으로 각 국의 철도시스템을 분석하였다. 실제 특정구간의 열차운행을 가정한 열차의 운행모델을 바탕으로 필요한 인프라 벡터와 철도차량 벡터의 모델을 만들고 열차운행에 따른 인터페이스에 의해 발생하는 상호운용성 행렬을 바탕으로 상호운용성 지수인 IOP(Interoperability Of Percentage)를 계량화하였다. 부산에서 블라디보스톡까지 디젤기관차와 화차를 활용하여 운행할 경우 IOP값은 22.2%에 불과하여 상호운용성이 낮은 편이었다. 즉 77.8%의 상호운용성 제약요인이 존재하는 것이다. 이와 같은 제약요인들은 장기적으로 기술적 상호운용성을 높이는 방향으로 건설 및 제작되어야 대륙철도구간의 열차운행의 장애요인을 감축할 수 있으며 상호운용성이 100%인 대륙철도 노선을 만들어 운용효율성이 높은 철도가 될 것이다.

  • Recently problems of soil and groundwater contamination occur in major construction sites of highway, dam and railways. Contaminants of oil fuels are also detected in the former fuel storage facilities of railroad station and army troops of transportation, etc. These facilities are planned as the sites of commercial infrastructures after restoration from pollutants by the law of soil environment conservation of Korea. In this manuscript, the contents of soil environment conservation law including soil assessment and restoration technology are introduced. Recent changes of soil environment area are also analyzed.

  • Variable-gauge systems can be used for the fast and safe transportation in the railways with different gauges instead of transshipment or bogie-changing. The system will be necessary to connect the trans-Korean railway with the transcontinental railway effectively. In this paper, searches of patent information about variable-gauge system are conducted and the patent maps are analyzed to seize the overall image and trend of the technology field. The results can be a reference for determining the development direction of the variable-gauge system suitable in the north-east asian railway networks.

  • A gauge-adjustable system can be used for the fast and safe transportation in the railways with different gauges instead of transshipment or bogie-changing. In this paper, the technical requirements for the gauge-adjustable system used for the north-east asia network were studied and the conceptual design of the system was performed. For the purpose, the specification was made and the QFD and TRIZ methods are used.

  • Growing qualitative and cost-based competition with the roads and air modes will be oblige the railways to make better use of their existing infrastructure than present. Development and use of new signalling and safety systems and introduction of wide-area control systems may make it possible to operate railway efficiently. Therefore. a comprehensive series of measures must be developed in the fields of technology, planning and management, measures which can operate today's korean railway systems intelligently and achieve cost savings, better quality services and improved results.

  • Now operating lines of many urban railway are currently in progress in the Seoul, but the inadequate consideration of links between different lines could create inconvenience as the public transport. This paper is studied about the connection service design of urban-railway convinced for other metropolis railways forms and propose the base pilot plan of the railway network linking system in Seoul Metropolis.

  • The KNR(Korean National Railroad) is trying to set a new rail standard to back up the speed-up policy of the conventional railways. This work has passably significance since the rail standards used were introduced from Japan without the consideration on our situation. The contact analysis between wheel treads and rail heads, attended with complex calculation and the wear experiments taken long time should be accomplished for the exact investigation to establish a new rail standard. However, this paper just concentrates the structural investigation of the proposed rail standard and the dynamic analysis between trains and rail models with intent to shift the above procedure on the next step.

  • Because of global warming, the new environment energy policy was already announced. The role of Green-railways is increasing in the field of railway. The government announced a policy direction of science & technology basic plan. The field of railway transportation proposed various railway transportation policy and plans. In this paper, I presented technical trend analysis for railway policy and railway operation field. Technical trend analysis at home and overseas are classified into railway industry technology, railway transportation system technology, railway operation efficiency technology, railway logistics technology.
