SP기법을 이용한 철도물류서비스의 고객 선호도 분석 (Customer Stated Preference Analysis On Railroad Logistics Service by SP Method)

  • The success of road transportation, in dominating the surface movement of freight, is now threatened by increased traffic congestion, falling average motorway speed and rising in logistics costs, oil price. Due to the necessity for an effective transport system, we need to improve domestic transport infrastructure to reduce logistics cost by shifting to rail system. To analysis the demand characteristics in advance against these hypothetical circumstances, Stated Preference, which is called SP, approaches have been adopted to analysis the shipper's mode choice behaviors as RP(Revealed Preference) approaches are not appropriate. The results also indicate that the most effective policy to divert the freight volume from road to railway is to reduce freight rates for the railway with improved reliability.

  • Since it's introduction in the late 19 century, the railway has taken an important role as people's feet and has conducted a stable management due to it's exclusive position for a long time. However, the competitions with other transportation devices such as cars and airlines are making it's previous position more or less weaker. In 1998, celebrating 100th anniversary, Korea Railway established the Customer Satisfaction Service Charter for the purpose of overcoming this competitive weakness, and as well to enhance it's service quality. The main purpose of this article is to depict and review the effectiveness of Customer Satisfaction Service Charter that has been adapted for a decade, and to suggest some effective supporting system that can make the charter to function more efficiently, and that would lead to the better realization of customer satisfaction service.

  • The Diesel Multiple Units (DMU) is a successful mass transportation system, that is being, continuously, on demand by train operators and railway authorities around the globe. One of its advantages is the fact that a diesel engine, along with the correct propulsion and control equipment, could also be used on either Electrified or Non-Electrified Railway Lines. Currently, there are almost 12,000 DM Units being used worldwide and the demand is on the increase. This paper describes the special features as well as the advantages/disadvantages of the different types of the DMUs according to the propulsion systems that are employed, to help establish a trend in the DMU market.

  • The station area development planed to improve the old and narrowed station and to enhance the train passenger's convenience through private capital attraction in the past. But it has been faced with difficulty for the creative of transfer demand. Because of lean upon building facilities were caused by shortage of business profitability as to development of the upside a railway line, and lack of public utilities. The station area development requires that it's trend to large scale development of station areas, korail's direct development, deputation of specialty company to development, collaboration between local government and korail in development, diversification of process & installed facility, building multi-transfer center and one-stop transfer system. This trend caused by low profitability in development of the upside a railway line. The purposes of study are to make the system and law reflected to the property of station area development, investment in kind of needed land, and change railroad areas to high-rise and complex development, and make a forum between government and korail, etc.

  • Recently many new subway lines and light rail lines are demanded to build as CBTC system for advanced transportation needs. Already several lines are being installed and some other are planned this days. In early 2008, the first korean CBTC project, Bundang Line Intelligent Train Control System was finished successfully then it showed that many advantage of its functionalities to demonstrate. Nowaday, the technology of CBTC in Korea is not standing alone by itself yet, even though a lot of localization was done last decade include ATS (Automatic Train Supervision) and Radio Communication and manufactures and installations, because the core equipment of CBTC is rely on oversea technologies of major railway signal companies. KRRI has been preparing to develop the core equipment of CBTC (wayside ATP and onboard ATO/ATP) with other 14 local railway signal companies. Now they have consisted two consortiums to develop the core equipment by themselves. In this paper, I will mention about how we should focus on the output for viewpoint of interpretabilities between the two groups and review the case study of front developers efforts considering to standardizations we should be following.

  • 철도선로구간의 노후도는 궤도, 노반, 교량, 터널 등 요소시설의 노후도로 결정되며 궤도의 선형 또한 선로구간 노후도에 영향을 준다. 본 논문에서는 계층구조분석(analytic hierarchy process: AHP)과 자료포락분석(data envelopment analysis: DEA)을 활용하여 선로구간의 노후도를 평가하는 방법을 제시한다. AHP는 다수의 전문가들이 평가하는 각 요소시설의 중요도를 체계적으로 파악할 수 있도록 해준다. 요소시설에 대한 중요도는 전문가에 따라 달라질 수 있다. DEA는 선로구간 요소시설의 중요도 가중치 범위를 체계적으로 반영하여 선로구간의 노후도를 평가할 수 있도록 해준다.

  • The APF (All Pass Filter) method that utilizes the computational power of the controller is most commonly used. However, since the calculation of the filter coefficient is complicated, the calculation is carried out in advance. It is difficult to apply it to the frequency fluctuation environment because the coefficient value is fixed. In this paper, a new control method of single phase PLL that can be usefully used in PWM converter device for electric railway was explained. Comparison and examination of similarities and differences between the conventional APF method PLL controller method and the newly proposed modified MA filter method PLL technique were performed. The possibility of implementation of the modified MA filter method through computer simulation was analyzed. In conclusion, the method proposed as the conclusion was applied to the APU(Auxiliary Power System) of 8200 Series Electric Locomotive and its usefulness was confirmed.

  • This paper study on powering characteristic on speed variation of propulsion system of prototype 8200 electric locomotive propulsion system through simulation modeling. For this purpose, it being applied in the field of railway IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) elements are used. Converter was performed PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) control method that is used to control the phase and output voltage, and the inverter was carried an indirect vector control method to control the speed of traction motor. The results of simulation by modeling and experimental unit, we was confirmed that converter is controlled a unity power factor and output voltage by reference voltage. Also traction motor was controlled by indirect vector control and SVPWM inverter switching method very well.

  • 최근 도입 논의가 활발히 이루어지고 있는 바이모달 트램은 버스와 경량전철의 중간 규모의 수요에 대하여 정시성, 효율성, 편리성을 갖춘 대중교통시스템으로 주목받고 있다. 특히 철도와 같이 물리적으로 분리된 전용로상에서 제어시스템과 운영시스템을 갖춰 운영할 수 있고, 일반도로에서도 버스와 같이 운영할 수 있는 장점이 있으나, 철도와 도로교통 관련 법령에서 정의되지 않고, 건설비에 대한 재정지원근 거가 없어 구체적인 도입계획이 수립되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 바이모달 트램 도입 활성화를 위한 제도 구축을 위하여 다음과 같은 분석을 수행하였다. 1) 바이모달 트램 도입 추진 현황을 파악하여 도입 활성화의 장애요소를 파악하고, 2) 바이모달 트램과 타 교통수단과의 특성 및 관련제도 분석을 통해 제도화에 필요한 요소를 파악하며, 3) 해외의 제도 사례를 통해 국내 도입 활성화에 필요한 제도적 필요 요소률 분석하였다.

철도종합안전심사제도 발전을 위한 국가 항공안전감독체계 고찰 (A Study on the State's Aviation Safety Audit Systems for the Improvement of the Integrated Railroad Safety Audit System)

  • Recently the assurance of railroad safety is very important issue in KOREA because there are lots of changes in the railroad industries. The Railway Safety Act was established in order to cope with these changes effectively and prevent the railroad transportation accidents. According to this law, Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) has been entrusted with 'Integrated Railroad Safety Audit (IRSA)'. Even though newly introduced IRSA is conducted smoothly, it is necessary to study the methodology and criteria of the state's safety audit system in other fields to improve the efficiency. In ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Safety Management Manual, a state's safety programme embraces those regulations and directives for the conduct of safe operations from the perspective of aircraft operators and those providing air traffic services(ATS), aerodromes and aircraft maintenance. The safety programme may include provisions for such diverse activities as incident reporting, safety investigations, safety audits and safety promotion. To implement such safety activities in an integrated manner requires a coherent SMS(Safety Management System). In this paper, to improve the efficiency of IRSA, we investigated the ICAO's the State's Aviation Safety Audit Systems and ICAO Safety Management Manual. And through the result of investigation, we proposed the improvement concept of IRSA.
