Selecting an appropriate railway system in urban railway project is an important step for an efficient public transport policy. This paper attempts to solve the railway system selection problems in the (pre)feasibility study or preliminary research of urban railway project, by the rough transportation demand forecasting and financial analysis. There are two stages in this paper: in stage one, we review the worthwhile and various criteria which presented in precedent studies; whereas in stage two, an structured selection criteria is proposed for determining the appropriate railway system in urban railway project. The utilization of the proposed criteria is demonstrated with the case of a newtown in the metropolitan area. The results show that proposed criteria can be used to make the rational decision for governmental financial condition and social benefit.

Railway has recently played an important role in preventing global warming caused by green house gases and furthering a low carbon green growth, The various railway research centers have conducted facilitated studies on saving energy. In particular, urban railway has emerged as the best means of public transportation in terms of punctuality, safety and environmentally friendliness. There are various ways to save energy in terms of operation of urban railway system, and they can be generally divided into hardware aspects that pertain to structure of vehicles and development of control system and software aspects that pertain to effective operation of trains based on operation patterns and diagram control. In this paper, we investigated drive assistance system for railway energy efficiency. The railway operation patterns and train diagram management programs were researched.

The purposes of this primary study are the selection of rail station and train operation management techniques for express-rail operation service at the convectional railway electrification. For these analyses, we used the KNR statistics and KROIS data of rail stations and train users by rail line. Therefore, we chose the important stations for express-rail operation of Kyongbu conventional rail line (esp. Seoul-Jochiwon section) through the rail transportation demand. and then, suggested primary operational management plan thorough the effects analyses of decreasing total travel time and increasing transportation demand by train speed-up. This study has some bounds and limits for proceeding, as it does, we excluded as followings: the conditionals of fate system, headways and train diagram, economic/financial analysis and technological assessment, and other railway technological infrastructures and a certain railcar specification, etc. . We propose to enlarge this study into a feasibility study of express or skip-stop operation service and compatible vehicle system decision considering with the best possible investment rail line, furthermore. in front of Kyongbu (Seoul-Busan) high-speed rail open in 2004, we have to try to progress the efficiencies of railway operation applying various train operation management plan.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to propose that domestic rail must the work to be done in the RCM system and railway operators are to present a direction to establish the efficient and systematic system based on this. Methods : In recent years, domestic railway accidents has decreased year rapidly every year. In particular, suicidal ideation was greater than 50% of the accidents is showing a larger decrease in the influence of the screen-door construction. However, the train delay has been maintained without major changes since 2010. The most important cause of the delay operation is a vehicle breakdown. This fact demonstrates that effective maintenance of the most important activities in the railway accident prevention activities. So we have to build a RCM system in which the characteristics of the domestic railway accident. Conclusion : We proposed what is necessary functionality and the function requires a railway operators in RCM railway systeml.

본 연구에서는 그간의 연구를 참고하여 연구가 미진한 부분인 조선에 있는 사설철도의 법과 제도 그리고 인력, 보조금의 변화와 함께 사설철도가 가지고 있는 특징을 분석하여 일제강점기의 사설철도의 성격을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 일제강점기의 조선의 사설철도의 특징은 조선 내에서의 사설철도는 조선 내에서의 간선철도를 보조하는 역할을 하는 국책사업성격의 사설철도의 역할이 컸다는 것이다. 변화과정을 보면 관련법의 개정에 의해 보조율이 증가하였고 일본의 철도정책에 따라 좌우되는 양상을 보였다. 조선의 사설철도 특징은 일본 본토 보다 보조금이 높았으며, 외부자본의존형의 자본조달과 사철종사 임원의 경우도 조선철도국 출신이 많았다. 수익은 국유철도보다 낮아 이는 보조금으로 보전하였다. 이러한 사실을 근거로 조선내의 사설철도는 국책사업과 연관성이 깊은 철도회사였다고 볼 수 있다. 조선 내의 사철회사는 지역의 산업과 연관이 깊었다. 사설철도의 노선 분포를 보면 거의 간선을 보조하는 노선 혹은 산업개발지역과 일치하고 있다. 아울러 사설철도의 성격상 다양한 부대사업을 운영하여 일본국내의 사철의 부대사업으로 수익을 창출하고 철도운영을 해 나가는 사설철도본래의 기능도 가지고 있는 이중적인 성격의 철도라고 할 수 있다.

Importance of railway safety has drawn much attention with the growth of its contribution to the modernized society as a massive transport, high speed transportation system. Hence, safety regulations and organizations for railway vehicles are reviewed. The present status of domestic metro transit system is considered and compared with that of foreign countries. Some controversial points are raised and countermeasures are proposed.

본 논문은 YOLO 기반 모델의 철도 시스템 내 선로 고정장치 탐지 성능을 비교하고 분석한다. 여기서 철도 시스템은 열차가 주행하기 위한 선로, 침목, 패스너 등의 구성요소를 포함한다. 침목은 지반과 직접적으로 연결되며, 선로를 지반 위에 안정적으로 지지하고 궤간을 정확하게 유지하는 역할을 한다. 또한, 패스너는 선로를 침목에 단단히 고정시키는 역할을 한다. 이러한 선로 고정장치의 부재는 인명 사고로 이어질 수 있어 지속적인 관리와 유지 보수가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 철도 시스템의 선로 고정장치 탐지를 위해 YOLO V5 및 V8 딥러닝 모델의 적용 가능성을 실험적으로 접근하며, 두 모델의 탐지 성능을 비교한다. 실험 결과, YOLO V8 및 V5 모델은 모두 뛰어난 성능을 보이는데, 특히 YOLO V8 모델이 더욱 우수한 성능을 보인다. 이로써 YOLO 알고리즘은 선로 고정장치 탐지에 적합하다는 것을 증명한다. 그러나 일부 False Positive Sample이 관측되었음을 확인하고, 이로부터 모델 성능의 개선이 필요하다는 결론을 도출하였다.

A gauge-adjustable system can be used for the fast and safe transportation in the railways with different gauges instead of transshipment or bogie-changing. The system will be necessary to connect the trans-Korean railway with the transcontinental railway effectively. In this paper, the technical requirements for the gauge-adjustable system used for the north-east asia network were studied and the conceptual design of the system was performed. For the purpose, the specification was made and the QFD and TRIZ methods are used.

The aim of this research is to analyze and periodize the relationship between railroad and river transportation as one aspect of the transformation of the land transportation system in Korea. As a result, three phases can be observed: a first phase of equality and interdependence (1910s); a second phase, subordinating rivers to feeder lines under railroad's dominance; and a third phase when trucks and buses became a major means for local transportation in place of traditional shipping routes. River ports were among the main planned destinations during the first and second phases, but such plans were changed or withdrawn after the third phase. This relationship between river and rail illustrates one geopolitical factor relating to the development of Korea's rail transportation network.

지속적인 경제성장에 더불어 지역 활성화 정책이 시행되면서 지역 간 통행수요가 증가하고 있으며, 이를 다양한 교통수단이 분담하고 있다. 교통 분야에서 저탄소 녹색성장이 강조되면서 친환경 교통수단인 간선열차로 통행수요의 전환을 유도하려는 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 이를 위하여 간선열차와 경쟁적 위치에 있는 대중교통수단들에 대한 승객들의 인식 파악 및 간선열차의 경쟁력 강화 방안에 대한 연구는 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 6개의 대표적 지역 간 대중교통수단(KTX, ITX-새마을, 무궁화, 우등고속버스, 일반고속버스, 항공기)이 제공하는 서비스 특성에 대한 유사성을 다차원척도 분석을 실시하여 2차원 공간상에 개념적 거리로 표현하고 승객들의 수단 간 유사성 인식정도를 측정하였다. 연구 결과를 통하여 지역 간 대중교통 수단들에 대한 경쟁관계를 파악할 수 있었으며, 이를 통하여 간선열차가 상대적 경쟁우위를 선점하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
