일부 철도기관사의 요통경험 및 관련요인 (Low Back Pain and Related Factors in Railroad Engineers)

  • Objectives: The purpose of present study was to investigate the experience and point prevalence rate and factors related with Low Back Pain (LBP) in train egineers. Methods: Questionnaires were completed by 324 train engineers in Daejeon railroad administration from May 2002. The information was used to estimate odds ratio (OR) and 95$\%$ confidence intervals (CI) for factors relation to LBP. A retrospective study design was used. Results: The experience rate for LBP was 67.9$\%$, 54$\%$ in one year interval prevalence, 53.4$\%$ in 6 months interval prevalence, and 47.8$\%$ in a point prevalence rate. Variables significantly associated with LBP experience were age (p=0.0327), train vibration(p=0.0015), labour hour(p=0.0034), and pay(p=0.0534). As subjects got older, the higher experience for LBP was (OR=1.1, 95$\%$ CI 1.0-1.2). LBP experience rate for people who had felt train vibration was a higher than those who did not (OR=2.5, 95$\%$ CI 1.4-4.4, OR=2.3 95$\%$ CI 1.3-4.0 in a point prevalence). The people who worked for long hour was a higher than those who did not (OR=2.8, 95$\%$ CI 1.4-5.6, OR=2.2, 95$\%$ CI 1.1-4.5 in a point prevalence). The people who were not satisfied with pay was a higher than those who were (OR=1.7, 95$\%$ CI 1.0-3.0). Factors related to a point prevalence rate were train vibration(p=0.0027), chair vibration (p=0.0444), and labour hour(p=0.0340). LBP a point prevalence rate for people who had felt the vibration of train chair was a higher than those who did not (OR=1.8 95$\%$ CI 0.7-2.0). Conclusions: Results from present study indicated that a statistically significant factors associated with LBP experience were age, train vibration, labour hour, and pay, Factors related to a point prevalence rate were also train vibration, the vibration of train chair, and labour hour.

선하역사의 슬래브 진동에 의한 소음방사 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Noise Characteristics Induced by Slab Vibration for the Elevated Railway Station)

  • 궤도가 역사의 상부에서 연결되는 선하역사 형식의 경우 일반 역사 구조형식과 달리 진동이 직접 전달되는 구조적 특성으로 인하여 진동 및 소음레벨이 타 형식의 역사와 대비하여 상대적으로 높은 상황이다. 따라서 구조물 진동과 이로 인해 발생되는 구조물 기인 소음에 대한 특성 파악과 그 결과를 활용한 저감 방안의 수립이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존 슬래브와 진동을 절연시키는 구조형식의 플로팅 슬래브에 대하여 외력에 의한 가진 시 발생하는 구조적 진동과 이로 인한 구조물 기인 소음의 상관성을 고찰하고자 실험과 해석을 수행하였다. 표준형 및 플로팅 슬래브를 제작하여 가진함으로써 진동응답과 소음을 계측하였고, 수치해석, 유한요소법과 SEA 기법을 활용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다, 실험 및 해석을 통하여 슬래브의 동적 구조적 특성, 구조물 진동과 소음의 상관성, 플로팅 슬래브의 저감 효과 등에 관한 결과를 도출하였다.

저심도 터널과 인접한 방진벽의 지반진동 저감효과 (Vibration Isolation of Wave Barriers Constructed Near a Shallow Tunnel)

  • 본 논문에서는 계측자료와 해석방법의 조합에 의하여 지반진동을 평가하는 방법을 제시하였다. 평가방법의 기본개념은 FRA(Federal Railway Administration)에서 발간한 진동상세평가 매뉴얼에서 제시한 방법과 유사하나 구체적 평가방법은 다양한 유형의 방진벽의 진동저감 효과를 용이하게 평가할 수 있도록 수정되었다. 터널바닥에 작용하는 하중밀도(force density)는 해당선로의 차량 및 궤도조건을 잘 고려할 수 있는 차량-궤도 상호작용해석에 의하여 산정하였다. 지반진동의 전파유동성(transfer mobility) 2차원 지반진동해석을 통하여 평가하였다. 지반진동의 2차원 해석은 각 모델간의 상대비교에 있어서는 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있으나 절대치 평가는 어렵다. 따라서 여기서는 사전에 계측된 자료와 해석결과의 비교를 통하여 실제 지반진동 전파특성을 반영할 수 있도록 계산된 전파유동성을 보완하였다. 정립된 진동평가방법을 적용하여 실제 진동민원문제가 크게 발생하였던 도시철도 저심도 터널구간을 대상으로 9가지 유형의 방진벽의 진동저감 효과를 분석하였다.

생체 신호를 이용한 열차 승차감 평가 시스템 연구 (Study of Ride Comfort on Train through Physiological Parameter)

  • The train transportation has a lot of advantages-energy efficiency is high, it is eco-friendly, safety is better than normal roads and it is possible for people to arrive on time. In these days, the valuation of ride comfort, which is only limited to road transportation, is newly recognized in order to having competitiveness from other transportation. Especially, in the development of the Korean high-speed railroad business, the ride comfort enhancement of train is very important problem to be solved. Currently, there are international standards of ride comfort such as UIC13, ISO2631. In Korea case, although it has own standard like KS R9216, it mainly depends on the physical parameter such as vibration and noise. So recently, in the valuation of ride comfort, the movements of living parameter technique introduction are increasing on the base of Japan and many developed countries of Europe techniques. Presently, the method of train ride comfort is mainly based of vibration, that is, mechanical parameter adding selection of variable acceleration and noise. This paper would like to show biological parameter; heart rate and blood pressure variation. This method is more direct, based on human body response, than mechanical parameter method. In this experiment, the variability of heart rate and blood pressure of passengers according to tilting angle change of Train, the Korean tilting train, we are supposed to know that the extent of tilting on the simulation has influence on variability of heart rate and blood pressure, which are living parameter of heart's blood.

철도용 SCP합성거더교의 LCC 분석에 관한 연구 (Life Cycle Cost Analysis of SCP Composite Girder Bridge for Railroad)

  • Recently, the SCP(Steel Confined Prestressed concrete) composite girders are developed to improve the characteristic such as displacement, vibration, and heavy dead load due to influence of self weight, and inefficiency of steel section of exiting girder-type railroad bridges. It is needed to verify the economical effciency of newly developed SCP composite girder bridge compared with the conventional girder-type bridges. In this paper, LCC analysis for alternative railroad bridges Is performed and its technique based on level of risk(probability of failure) is suggested. From the results, it may be stated that SCP composite girder bridge is more economical than a conventional one.

지반조건에 따른 고속철도 토공노반의 공진에 관한 연구 (Study on the Resonance in Trackbed of High-Speed Railway Considering Ground Condition)

  • When the train running on the high-speed track, there is a speed band which track distortion is unusually increased according to the condition of track and roadbed. This speed is called critical velocity and physical parameter values are increased greatly. These phenomenon happened as high-speed train were developed, studied regularly through TGV 100 running test in France. As research result until now, the main reason is soft roadbed's bearing capacity. Wave propagation and track support capacity is varied by the ground characteristics. This paper achieved theoretical examination about resonance band(speed and frequency) that occurred in roadbed on the base rock in point of geotechnical engineering. The examination of resonance divides with ground response analysis, critical band analysis by the shear wave velocity of roadbed and train critical speed through the ground stratum.

  • In this paper, sample coils for stator form-wound winding of traction motor were tested by the accelerative thermal degradation, which composed of heat, vibration, moisture and overvoltage applying. Reliability and expected life were evaluated on the insulation system for 200 class traction motor. After aging of 10 cycles, insulation resistance and PI properties were investigated as diagnosis tests in the range of $20{\sim}160^{\circ}C$. Analysis of polarization properties was performed on the base of do current-time change.

  • Induction motors are a critical component of many industrial machines and are frequently integrated in commercial equipment. The many economical losses and the deterioration of system reliability might be caused by the failure of induction motors in industrial field. Based on the reliability and cost competitiveness of driving system (motors), the faults detection and diagnosis of system is considered very important factors. In order to perform the faults detection and diagnosis of motors, the vibration monitoring method and motor current signature analysis (MCSA) method are emphasized. In this paper, MCSA method is used for induction motor fault diagnosis. This method analyzes the motor's supply current, since this diagnoses the motor's condition. The diagnostic system is constructed by using LabVIEW of National Instruments.

철도인접지역 건물에 대한 진동전달율의 영향성 평가 (Transmissibility Effect Evaluation of Buildings Near Railroad Areas)

  • 건물설계단계에서 신축예정건물의 열차진동영향평가를 위하여 국내의 4개의 열차진동 가속도응답 계측치와 진동전달율(Transmissibility)값을 이용한 이론치를 비교하여 TR값의 적용성을 제시하였다. 이 TR 방법을 통하여 철도인접지역 위치한 신축 예정지반을 선정하고 지반진동 계측을 실시하였다. 계측한 지반의 가진진동수와 수직가속도응답과 신축 예정건물의 바닥슬래브를 MIDAS로 해석한 고유진동수를 통해 진동전달률을 산정한 후 신축건물의 진통예측을 실시하였다. TR을 적용한 가속도응답 예측치를 열차진동 가속도응답 계측치와 비교한 결과 3.61%~37.1% 오차범위에서 있는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 KTX, 경의선, 시멘트 열차 주행 시 지반의 가진진동수는 7.19~10.61Hz 사이에 선명한 피크를 확인 할 수 있다.

철도사업 환경성평가서 검토시 주요항목에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Major Environmental Items for Railroad Construction in the EIA Process)

  • Recently, railroad construction becomes an alternative considering environmental merits such as mass transportation, safety, economy and energy efficiency. Also railroad can have 3 to 4 times better in economy compared to road construction. However, long line and unavoidable sensitive areas hinders railroad construction often resulted in ecosystem degradation. This paper reviewed 27 cases of EIS submitted during 2003-2006 and reviewed major issues on Animal-Plants and Landscape. Noise-Vibration (13.5%), Water Quality (13.5%), Wastes (10.8%) appeared to be most frequent factors to supplement. Route selection in the railroad is the most sensitive issues so that public participation and hearing should be involved in the early stage of the process and social and cultural factors also must be considered to make a final decision on the railroad route location and selection.
