압전세라믹스를 이용한 음향트랜스듀서의 음향방사특성 해석 (An Analysis of the Acoustic Radiation Characteristics from the Acoustic Transducer)

  • The acoustic characteristics radiated from the acoustic transducer with metal-piezoceramic laminated circular plate were simulated. The Vibrational modes of metal-piezoceramic laminated circular plates were calculated by using the finite element method. After meshing the inside closed boundary of the acoustic transducer, the pressure gradients and the isotaric lines were calculated for the various frequencies. It has been observed that the characteristics of the sound pressure calculated for the various frequencies. Also, the directivity patterns and the sound pressure radiated from the acoustic transducer were calculated by 2-dimensional analysis.

선체진동을 이용한 함정의 수중방사소음 예측 (Estimation of the Underwater Radiated Noise of a Naval Vessel Using Hull Vibration)

  • Underwater radiated noise is one of the important performances related to stealth of the naval vessel. However, the evaluation can't be performed frequently due to the cost. Therefore, the estimation method of the underwater radiated noise with average hull vibration is suggested in this paper assuming that the hull of the ship is infinite plate which consists of various unit plates. Through the experiment, the estimated noise is verified from the comparison to the measured data. In addition the difference of underwater radiated noise according to the operating equipments is estimated with measured vibration velocity.

  • Structural acoustic modification method based on the structural mobility analysis is applied to reduce the structure-borne noise radiated from hard disk drive system. Sound intensity techniques and ODS(Operational Deflection Shape) techniques are also used in order to provide the structural acoustic information for the mobility modification. The sound intensity is for the acoustic visualization of the noise source locations, and the ODS is for the visualization of the vibration pattern and its dynamic characteristics of the noise sources. Using visualization information of sound and vibration, local structural input mobility is reduced in the frequency band of interest by designing asymmetrical wave-stringer structure in the wave-number domain as well as frequency domain. The overall sound pressure level is reduced by 4dB and its controlled sound power radiated from the disk drive is proved to under 2.8Bel in idle-spinning mode and 3.1 Bel in random-seeking mode, which are the lowest noise levels in the hard disk drive industry.

웨지가 있는 원심 임펠러의 유동장 및 방사 음향장 해석(II) -원심홴의 산란 음향장 예측- (An Analysis of the Flow Field and Radiation Acoustic Field of Centrifugal Fan with Wedge -The Prediction of the Scattered Sound Field-)

  • The objective of this study is to understand the generation mechanism of sound and to develop a prediction method for the acoustic pressure field of a centrifugal fan. If the fan is operating at the free field without the casing, the acoustic analogy is a good method to predict the acoustic of the fan. But, the casing gives a dominant effect to the radiated sound field and the scattering effect of casing should be considered. So, in this paper the Kirchhoff-BEM is developed, which can consider the scattering effect of the rigid body. In order to consider the scattering and diffraction effects owing to the casing, BEM is introduced. The source of BEM is newly developed, so the sound field of the centrifugal fan can be obtained. In order to compare the predicted one with experimental data, a centrifugal impeller and a wedge are used in the numerical calculation and the results are compared with the experimental data. Reasonable results are obtained not only for the peak frequencies but also for the amplitudes of the tonal sound. The radiated acoustic field shows the diffraction and scattering effects of the wedge clearly.

  • 실험실이 아닌 일반음장에서 음향인텐시티법을 이용하여 공조덕트 소기기의 감음성능 평가방법을 검토하였다. 음향인델시티법에 의한 감음량 측정치는 음압법에 의한 측정치보다 이논치와 비교적 잘 일치하였으며, 음향인텐시티법은 음압법에 비하여 음장조건에 따른 영향을 비교적 적게 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 최근, 차량의 생활환경 소음에 대한 규제가 점점 강화되고 있다. 특히, 차량으로부터 발생하는 여러 가지 소음원 중에서 타이어로부터 발생하는 소음의 비중이 점점 증가하는 추세이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 타이어의 트레드밴드로 부터 발생하는 소음에 대하여 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 타이어 트레드밴드를 장력, 감쇠, 기초강성 둥이 고려된 무한 보로 가정하였고, 타이어 트레드밴드에 조화집중이동하중이 가진 될 때 트레드밴드로 부터 발생하는 소음을 예측하고자 하였다. 트레드밴드로 부터 방사되는 음향파워는 공간좌표의 푸리에 변환을 이용하여 예측할 수 있으며, 타이어 내부 공기압에 의한 장력, 재질의 특성에 의한 감쇠, 기초강성 둥의 변화가 트레드밴드로 부터 방사되는 음향파워에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 한편, 본 연구에서 제시한 모텔은 저소음 타이어 개발을 위한 타이어 설계 자료의 일환이다.

ER 마운트 제어에 의한 원통쉘의 진동소음 해석 (Noise and Vibration Analysis of a cylindrical shell by controlling ER mount)

  • ER mount can be used instead of rubber mount in cylindrical shell to improve the vibration and noise performance. The noise radiated by cylindrical shell will be reduced by reducing the force transmitted to the cylindrical shell through ER mount. In this paper LQ control theory is used to reduce the transmitted force to the cylindrical shell. The finite element method of cylindrical shell is formulated by NASTRAN and its vibrating shape is calculated in frequency domain. The noise radiated from the cylindrical shell is calculated by the use of SYSNOISE, the boundary element CAE tool. The vibration of the cylindrical shell and radiated acoustic pressure is compared in case of both controlled and uncontrolled ER mount.

  • In automobile exhaust system. Internal pressure pulsation and shell vibration greatly affect the surface sound radiation. This noise is emitted from the muffler outer shell due to the pulsation of the exhaust gas pressure. This paper describes an analytical study of these characteristics as influenced by exhaust system structure. An exhaust simulator was used for generating the pressure pulsation. The relationship between shell vibration and radiated noise was used for generating the pressure pulsation. The relationship between shell vibration and radiated noise was identified by finding FRF.
