항공기소음예측에 관한 연구;태안비행장 중심으로 (A Study on Prediction of Aircraft Noise in Tae-an Airfield)

  • Hanseo University's Tae-an Airfield was opened in July, 2005 for aeronautical education such as aircraft flight, air traffic control, avionics, etc., and will play an important part as a base for local economic and industrial developments. On the contrary, the aircraft noise from the airfield will give an impact against the vicinity of the airfield and become a big issue which the airfield authority has to solve. The aim of this study is to analyse the aircraft noise contour in vicinity of the airfield and to make understand the people around the airfield how much the aircraft noise will have an effect on. For the prediction of the aircraft noise in the local area, this study showed the method to assess the aircraft noise in the developed countries for aviation, and the result to compute WECPNL by INM 6.1 after encoding the various data including environmental input data, tract, and profile. The major results of the study can be summarized as follows ; While the area with influence contour of noise from 75 to 80 WECPNL is 0.555$km^2$, the area from 80 to 85 is 0.343$km^2$, and the area with influence contour of noise over 85 WECPNL is 0.163$km^2$. In addition, there are 4 houses in the contour over 85 WECPNL and the inhabitants(10 people) in this area will have effect from the noise. Therefore Tae-an airfeild authority is preparing the noise-prevention method or noise abatement program. Finally, according to the noise contour, it is one of the best way of decreasing the effect of aircraft noise that 33 runway is assigned as calm-wind runway because there is no resident in the area around 15 threshold.

고무 퇴적물에 의한 공항 활주로 표면 마찰계수 변화 (Variation of Friction Coefficient of Airport Runway Surface by Rubber Deposits)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 공항 활주로에 적합한 마찰계수 측정 및 고무 퇴적물 제거에 대한 합리적 기준 개발을 위해 관련 해외 기준 및 연구결과에 관한 문헌을 조사하였다. 그리고 2007년 8월부터 2009년 7월까지ASFT(Airport Surface Friction Tester)장비를 이용하여 인천국제공항 활주로의 마찰계수를 측정하고 항공기 집중 착륙 지점에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 타이어 고무의 퇴적 및 제거에 따른 마찰계수의 변화를 분석하였고 이에 미치는 계절적 영향을 포장 형식별로 조사하였다. 고무 퇴적물 제거 작업을 주기적으로 수행해도 활주로 표면의 마찰계수는 장기적으로 시간에 따라 점차 감소되는 것으로 확인되었다. 여름철 마찰계수의 변화가 다른 계절에 비해 컸으며 아스팔트 포장이 콘크리트 포장보다 계절적 영향에 민감했다. 매크로한 표면조직을 갖는 아스팔트 포장의 마찰계수가 마이크로한 표면조직을 갖는 재령 초기 콘크리트 포장의 마찰계수보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 타이어 고무의 퇴적 및 제거에 따른 마찰계수의 변화도 아스팔트 포장에서 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다.

  • 지역 여건상 ILS나 VOR/DME 등 항행안전시설을 이용한 착륙이 곤란한 활주로에서는 조종사가 직접 눈으로 확인하여 착륙하는 선회비행방식이 이용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 김해공항 북측 활주로와 같이 항행안전시설을 설치하지 못하는 공항에 대하여 선회착륙하는 항공기가 악천후등으로 최종적으로 선회해야하는 지점을 발견하지 못하고 통과하여 사고가 발생하는 것을 막기 위하여 선회지점을 벗어난 지점에 무선전파의 전파막, 즉 마커신호로 조종사에게 위험신호를 알려주는 역할을 하는 장비를 개발하기로 한다. 이 경우 항공기에는 별도의 장비를 갖추지 않고 조종사가 별도의 조작을 하지 않아도 경보가 울리도록 하여 조종사의 부담을 최대한으로 줄여야 한다. 이를 만족하기 위해서 ILS의 구성장비로 사용중인 마커를 기반으로 하고, 현재 마커에 사용중인 송신기의 주파수 및 변조방식등을 그대로 이용하고, 변조주파수 및 신호만을 바꾸고, 안테나를 특수한 형태로 개발하기로 한다. 또한 안테나의 방사패턴의 크기를 시뮬레이션하고, 경보후의 비행경로를 계산하여 시스템의 유효성을 검증한다.

Regulatory Aspects of Passenger and Crew Safety: Crash Survivability and the Emergency Brace Position

  • Aviation's safety record continues to improve yearly, especially with respect to passenger and crew injuries and deaths. However, although the number of accidents has decreased over the decades, there are still many events, such as landings short of the runway and runway excursions, both of which pose threats to passenger and crew safety. Surviving any kind of aviation accident depends on the physiological threat and stress of the impact(s), the extent to which the physical structure surrounding the passengers and crew remains intact, and the ability of the passengers and crew to be able to escape the wreckage. The one action that both passengers and crew can carry out to help decrease the likelihood of crash-related injury or death is to assume an emergency brace position. Doing so has been demonstrated over several decades to improve survivability. While cabin crew are taught (and then might have to teach passengers in an emergency about the emergency brace position), passengers in many parts of the world never learn about the brace position unless they are involved in an emergency in which there is time to prepare for the landing. This lack of provision of information is related to the fact that most airlines do not provide information in the preflight safety briefing and some do not even provide the information in the passenger safety cards. Many countries do not require their airlines to do so, a fact, which in turn, is related to the lack of mention of the brace position in ICAO's Annex 6. Until standards and recommended practices are changed at the highest world level, passengers will continue to be deprived of this vital, life-saving information that they can use, potentially to help save their own lives.

  • FOD (foreign object debris)는 활주로 내의 항공기 운항과정에서 이에 위협을 가할 수 있는 모든 물질들을 총칭하는 단어이다. 과거 활주로 내에서 인적자원을 이용한 FOD 탐지 및 수거 방식은 효율성 및 경제성 면에서 매우 비효율적이기 때문에 국내에서 사용하기에 적합한 무인 FOD 탐지 시스템 개발이 필수적으로 요구되는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 한서대학교 태안비행장에서 EO카메라 및 레이더를 이용한 고정형 FOD 자동 탐지 시스템과 이동형 FOD 자동 탐지 시스템을 연구 및 개발하고 고정형과 이동형 방식을 운용하여 조도 및 기상환경에 상관없이 비행장의 활주로 내 자동 FOD 탐지가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • Semi-structured in-depth interview method were used to test psycho-social comparison among first time offenders and repeated offenders. Data were analyzed by t-test and chi-square. Differences between first time offenders and repeated offenders were that there were more male offenders than female offenders, and violent and theft offenders were more than sex offenders fraud and traffic offenders; early starters were more repeated offenders than late starters; there were some variables such as runway of home, parents' caring attitude, school drop out and maladjustment affecting in repeated offenses; developmental environment of repeated offenders were more negative than first time offenders. Therefore, intervention and prevention program development of good parenting and schooling and forensic counseling focused on optimal developmental environment is needed.

  • In this case, we have selected a representative location in the vicinity of large underground structures where they cross a runway and taxiway: measured the effects of the dynamic hammer compaction by distance: analyzed the measured results over a period of time and for many frequencies: and determined the maximum anticipated particle velocity (PV) of vibration, caused by the dynamic hammer, verses distance. In addition, while compacting the hydrofill, we reviewed the impact of subsurface particle velocities, caused by hammer compaction methods, upon newly constructed reinforced concrete underground structures. We have implemented the appropriate technical standards after reviewing domestic and international technical standards concerning allowable vibration velocity appropriate In the many types of underground structures at Inchon International Airport.

  • Small aircrafts, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), are used especially for military purposes. Because landing fields are limited in rural and hilly places, take-off or landing distances are very important. In order to achieve a short landing or take-off distance many parameters have to be considered, for instance the design of aircrafts. Hence this paper represents a better design to enlarge the use of fixed wing aircrafts. The document is based on a live and simulated experiments. The various components of designed aircraft are enhanced to create short take-off distance, greater lift and airflow without the need for proper runway area. Therefore, created aerodynamics of the remotely piloted aircraft made it possible to use fixed wing aircrafts in rural areas.

On the Approximate Solution of Aircraft Landing Gear Under Nonstationary Random Excitations

  • The motion of an aircraft landing gear over a rough runway can be modeled by a nonclassically damped system subject to nonstationary random excitations. In this paper, the approximate analysis methods based on either the real or complex normal modes for the computation of nonstationary response covariances are proposed. It has been found by simulation involving a realistic example that, for the nonclassically damped random vibrational systems, the approximate solution method based on the complex normal mode is superior to other approaches with respect to the accuracy and computation time.

선회착륙공항에서의 GNSS 비정밀접근 및 정밀접근 적용 연구 (Application of GNSS Non-Precision and Precision Approaches to a Circle-to-Land Approach Airport)

  • Circling to land is a relatively dangerous maneuver. It contains the worst elements of IFR flight. There is a minimum obstruction clearance, a limited space in which to maneuver, an absence of visual reference, and trying to keep the runway in sight while preparing to land. At night it is quite a bit more than dangerous. The required continuous turn in marginal conditions that keeps the airport in sight is hazardous. Therefore, this paper proposes an application of GNSS to circling approach to reduce or remove chances of accidents which may occur under such unfavorable flight conditions. The study reviews relevant documents published by ICAO and FAA and provides scenarios for non-precision and precision approaches and circling approach based on the GNSS for Kimhae airport. Also requirements for the ground facility design are studied and provided.
