New Techology of Intercompany Information Communication: Development of EDI System (기업간 정보 통신의 신기술)

  • Electronic data interchange (EDI) is a new technology of information communication which can make offices paperless. This study develop an EDI system to communicate informations among companies using computer systems. The system consists of five modules-document I/O, translation, system management, communication, and additional modules. The database of EDI documentation standards has been constructed by the table-driven method. The communication module provides three communication modes-RS232C, MODEM, and message handling system (MHS). The system performance has been improved by the method of data compression and data encryption which prevent the communication delay and illegal users. This EDI system can be used as a front-end, back-end, or stand-alone mode.

  • This paper describes the development of integrated head and eye tracker system. Vision based head tracker is performed and it has 7mm error in 300mm translation. The epi-polar method and point matching are used for determining a position of head and rotational degree. High brightness LEDs are installed on helmet and the installed pattern is very important to match the points of stereo system. Eye tracker also uses LED for constant illumination. A Position of gazed object(3m distance) is determined by pupil tracking and eye tracker has 1~5 pixel error. Integration of result data of each tracking system is important. RS-232C communication is applied to integrated system and triggering signal is used for synchronization.

  • UPnP Bridge supporting diverse network interface has to meet standard requirements in order to be connected with legacy devices. It is able to provide or bridge a service description and device description according to a specification because IEEE1394 and USB have this standard requirements. But it is difficult to know whether it RS232C supports only serial communication and packet transfer. It need a document for the standard definition of communication protocol on UPnP device having such interface. By doing so, this document can understand device and packet type. This paper defines MFD(Message Field Description) and makes UPnP message converter. So it will be base to standardize supporting variable legacy device.

  • This paper aims to DNC application of car seat cushion die. DNC systems are consist of CAD(CATIA1, CAM(Z-MASTER, OMEGA) software and CNC milling machine. CAM software is purpose to G-code generation for CNC programming. Then CAM software and CNC milling machine are connect to RS-232-C cable for networking.

  • In this paper, were developed the 3 axes attitude control sensor system to control and monitoring the moving object. The proposed sensor system has been studied in Japan, America for a year ago. But it is high expensive and has a difficulty in application. To overcome these problems, proposed the 3 axes attitude control sensor system is low cost and easily applied. Proposed sensor system is equipped with the 3 gyro sensors, 2 tilt sensors and 3 MR sensors using 80C51 microprocessor for signal processing. It's output value transmit at long distance using RS232 serial communication protocol. We expect this system shall have a good performances in many applications of control and monitoring the moving object.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 루프감지기와 호환성이 있는 레이더 기술을 이용한 차량감지기를 개발하였다. 24 ㎓의 FMCW 고도계와 도플러 속도계 기술을 이용하여 도로상의 차량 길이와 속도정보를 알아낼 수 있는 비매설형의 차량감지기이다. 신호처리에는 DAQ 보드를 사용하였고, 응용소프트웨어인 LabView로 프로그래밍 하였다. 기존의 루프 감지기와 연결된 교통정보 네트웍과의 호환성을 위해 RS-232C 표준인터페이스를 이용하여 VDS(Vehicle Detector System)로 차량데이터를 전송하였다. 속도와 차량길이 정보의 정확도에 있어서 기존 루프감지기보다 약 10% 정도 향상되었음이 측정되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a CAD/CAM system for automatic creation and manufacturing of three dimension objects. The computer system used in this study made RAM 2M, CPU 80386, VGA graphic card. The results in this paper are as follows ; 1. By interconnect PC(personal computer) and NC(numerical control) milling machine with RS232C connector, we was constructed with CAD/CAM system. 2. The developed algorithm in this study is able to be design of three dimension object on the computer CRT and manufacturing of NC milling machine. 3. Because of design and modifying on the PC of objects, we can be saving time, cost and improvable precision of objects. 4. Essentially, we expect industrial accident to reduse according as we takes advantage of CAD/CAM system.

  • The wide spread of multimedia system demands a large area viewing display device which can inform a message to many people in open area. This paper is about the design of a large area viewing LED panel control system. The control system runs on 16 bit microprocessor MC68EC000 and has following functions: 16 line clock and time, 2 channel priority interrupt, 2 channel direct memory access, 2 channel 12 bit clock and timer, 2 channel infrared remocon receiver, 2 channel RS-232C with 16 byte FIFO, IBM PC/AT compatible keyboard interface, ISA bus, battery backuped real time clock, battery backuped 256 byte SRAM and watch dog timer. The core circuits are implemented to ASIC, considering lower cost, higher reliability, higher performance, smaller dimension, and lower power consumption. This is verified by simulation and fabricated in 0.6 um CMOS SOG processes. The total gate count is 39,083 and the clock frequency is 48 MGz. The fabricated ASIC is mounted on test board.

  • 현재 시중에서 판매되고 있는 디지털 열펌기를 IT시대에 맞게 스마트 열펌기로 진화시키고자 스마트폰으로 온습도를 모니터링하고자 제안한다. 스마트폰으로 온습도를 모니터링할 때 디지털 열펌기와 스마트폰 간 RS-232C 통신을 하여 데이터를 전송한다. 미용사는 디지털 열펌기에 가까이에 있지 않아도 고객의 파마 상황을 실시간으로 모니터링이 가능하여 고객 및 미용사입장에서 편의성이 확대될 수 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 DGPS와 칼라 CCD 카메라를 이용한 잡초의 검출을 위한 영상처리 시스템과 분무시스템을 개발하고 통합하여 정밀 방제 시스템을 개발하였다. 방제 요구부위에 실제 정밀한 살포를 위해 펌프, 노즐 및 레귤레이터로 구성된 장치를 구성하고 컨트롤러를 제작 통합하여 분무 시스템을 개발하였다. 개별 노즐별로 ON/OFF에 의한 변량 살포가 가능하도록 각 노즐별로 레귤레이터를 장착하였다. 정밀 방제용 이동식 차량을 제작하고 노즐별로 ON-OFF 제어가 가능한 살포장치를 부착하였으며, 알고리즘을 통합하여 정밀방제 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발한 시스템은 영상 획득 $\longrightarrow$ DGPS 좌표 획득 $\longrightarrow$ 자이로 컴파스 데이터 획득 $\longrightarrow$ 데이터베이스로부터 작물의 위치정보 획득 $\longrightarrow$ 영상처리를 이용한 방제요구부위 검출 $\longrightarrow$ 노즐별 개별 방제 작업이 순서적으로 반복해서 진행되었다. 완성된 시스템의 성능 및 안정성을 평가하기 위해서 서울대학교 부속 과수원에서 무를 대상으로 개발된 시스템을 검증하였다. 개발된 시스템은 RS-232C 통신을 이용하여 데이터의 전송을 수행할 수 있었으며, 순차적인 진행이 가능하도록 통합 프로그램을 제작하였으며, 검증 결과 정밀방제의 가능성을 보였다.
