아산만 해역의 부유성 난과 자치어의 분포 (Distribution of Ichthyoplankton in Asan Bay, Korea)

  • 아산만 주변 해역의 부유성 난과 자치어 분포를 조사하기 위하여, 1991년 4월, 7월, 10월 및 1992년 1월 4회에 걸쳐서 RN 80Net를 이용하여 부유성난과 자치어를 표층 채집하여 분류 동정하였다. 본 해역에서 출현한 부유성 난은 민어속 어류, 멸치, 동갈양태속어류 및 기타로 분류되었는데, 조사 기간중 민어속 어류의 난이 전체 어란 출현량의 $97.70\%$를 차지하여 우점종으로 나타났다. 자치어는 총 23개 분류군이 출현하였는데, 조사기간중 망둑어과 어류는 7종이 출현하여 전체 자치어 출현량의 $32.84\%$를 차지하여 극우점종으로 나타났으며, 까나리가 $16.69\%$를 차지하여 우점종으로 나타났다. 그 이외에도 뱀장어, 민어속어류, 덕대 및 멸치가 주요 출현종을 이루었다. 이들 6개 분류군은 자치어 출현량의 $90.40\%$를 차지하였다. 본 해역의 내만쪽에서는 담수의 영향으로 아산호에 인접한 정점에서는 자치어 분포에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 외해쪽 보다는 이들 기수 지역에서 많은양이 출현하여 부유성 난과 차지어 분포에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

두대의 GPS 수신기를 이용한 DGPS 정밀측위 (Precise DGPS Positioning Using Two GPS Receivers)

  • GPS 측위는 위성궤도의 오차, 이온층에서의 전파 굴절 등과 같은 자연적인 오차뿐만 아니라, S/A의 작동으로 인한 인위적 오차도 포함하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기준국과 관측점의 GPS 수신기가 동시에 동일한 Navstar위성 자료를 사용하여 결정한 위치를 보정하는 개인용 DGPS 방법의 원리를 제시하고, 이 방법에 의한 측위정밀도 및 활용성에 대한 실험 결과를 제시한다. 육상고정점의 측위에 있어서 GPS 자체의 오차(1 drms)는 수 10rn 정도임에 반하여 DGPS 보정시에는 수평위치 오차는 1m정도이며, 고도 오차는 2m정도로 줄어든다. 도로상 차량 이동 궤적 및 해양의 부표추적 실험 등에 DGPS 기법을 적용한 결과 만족스러운 결과가 도출되었다.

간호대학생의 임상 실습에서의 손씻기 수행 및 태도 조사 (Attitudes toward, and Practice of Hand Washing by Student Nurses in Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: This descriptive study was done to evaluate the attitude and practice of hand-washing by student nurses. Method: The subjects of the study were 463 senior and junior undergraduate student nurses and RN-BSN students. The questionnaire was developed by the researchers Data were collected from Oct. 16 to Dec. 20. 2001. and analysed by SPSS/WIN. General characteristics. attitude and practice were analyzed by frequency and percentage and differences in attitude and practice according to grade and practice setting were analyzed with $x^2$ test, t-test or ANOVA. Result: 1) The mean frequency of hand-washing was 6.63. Senior students washed more frequently than junior students. 2) The reasons for non-compliance were 'not being accustomed', 'forgetting', and 'not accessible'. 3) The mean time for hand-washing was 23.79 sec., less than the stated appropriate time of 42 18 sec. 4) 90% of the students washed their hands 'after contacting excretions and contaminated items' and few washed 'before giving care to the client'. 5) Most students washed hands rotationally rubbing with soap and water. 6) While washing, they removed their rings more often than their watches. 7) Soap bar (52.8%) and paper towel (69.6%) were most frequently used as decontaminating agent and drying method, but detergent solution (74.2%) and paper towels (60%) were considered as the most appropriate agent and method. 8) Hand-washing was perceived important generally 'to protect from cross-infection'. 'to protect one-self' and 'the most cost effective'. 9) All students responded nurses should practice 'hand-washing.'

mm-wave용 전력 PHEMT제작 및 특성 연구 (Studies on the Fabrication and Characteristics of PHEMT for mm-wave)

  • 본 논문에서는 밀리미터파 대역에서 응용 가능한 AIGaAs/InGaAs PHEMT를 제작하고 특성을 분석하였다. 제작에 사용된 PHEMT 웨이퍼는 ATLAS 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 DC 및 RF 특성을 최적화 하였다. 게이트 길이가 0.35 ㎛이고 서로 다른 게이트 폭과 게이트 핑거 수를 갖는 PHEMT를 전자빔 노광장치를 이용하여 제작하였다. 제작된 소자의 게이트 길이와 핑거수에 따른 RF 특성변화를 측정 분석하였다. 게이트 핑거 수가 2개인 PHEMT의 DC 특성으로 1.2 V의 무릎 전압, -1.5 V의 핀치-오프 전압, 275 ㎃/㎜의 드레인 전류 밀도 및 260.17 ㎳/㎜의 최대 전달컨덕턴스를 얻었다. 또한 RF 특성으로 35 ㎓에서 3.6 ㏈의 S/sub 21/ 이득, 11.15 ㏈의 MAG와 약 45 ㎓의 전류 이득 차단 주파수 그리고 약 100 ㎓의 최대 공진주파수를 얻었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 온도 및 전원전압에 덜 민감한 기준전압을 위해 온-칩 필터를 사용하는 8b 220 MS/s 230 rnW 3단 파이프라인 CMOS A/D 변환기 (ADC) 회로를 제안한다. 제안하는 RC 저대역 필터는 기존의 큰 값을 가진 칩 외부의 바이패스 캐패시터를 사용하지 않고도 고속 동작 시 발생하는 여러 가지 잡음을 효과적으로 감쇄시키고 큰 R, C 부하에서도 기준전압의 정착시간을 줄인다. 시제품 ADC는 0.25 um CMOS 공정을 이용하여 설계 및 제작되었고, 입/출력단의 패드를 제외한 코어 면적은 2.25 ㎟ 이며 측정된 DNL 및 INL은 각각 -0.35~+0.43, LSB, -0.82~+0.71 LSB 수준을 보여준다. 또한, SNDR은 200 MS/s, 220 MS/s 샘플링 주파수에서 입력 주파수가 수 MHz에서 110 MHz까지 증가할 때 각각 43 dB 및 41 dB로 유지되었고, 입력주파수가 500 MHz 까지 증가할 때는 입력주파수가 110 MHz의 경우에 비해 3 dB 정도만 감소되었다.

한국 간호교육에 대한 개혁 전망 (A Vision for Nursing Education Reform in Korea)

  • To build a suitable National Health Care System for the coming 21s1 century, Nursing must also be renewed. The future Korea will be united and the majority of its population will raidly consist of the aged. Economically standing on the same level with developed countries the growth of scientific technologies will foster communications, firing astounding changes in the medical field. While the overall life style pattern of Koereans not to mention the structure of diseases undergo change, the possibility that the reckless induction of high-tech health care may only cause medical fees to eascafate. It can전so be expected that the health care system will evolve towards the consumers. Nursing in the 21s1 century will be of two scenarios according to WHO, which presents the role of the nurse. The first scenario is that "a gen-eric health care work force" namely a "care giver" will replace all other health professions. If Nursing does not become the compatent profession fitting to this purpose it will eventually dei out. The second scenario is that nurses who are educated in a well grounded and extensive general background and have command of a specialized area will undertake services varying from health pro-motion to treatment and rehabilitation both direct and indirectly, while supervising other personnel. The nurse here would become the "care giver". To become the necessary health care profession in the 21s1 century, nurses should be provided with more educational opportunities, variating in its con-tents, course, and system, enabling them to grow. Clair Faign points out that the minimal educational entry for the nursing profession is a 4 year undergraduate education in this aspect, now in the time to set the future of Nursing into the course of the first scenario. A new educational system stipulating a baccalaureate nursing degree is in urgent need, and aside from govermental actions nurse themseives should formaily officiallze this process, striving for quality assurance. While considering 6 years nursing education programs, multifarious degree courses for existing 3 years educated nurse should be provided Junior nursing schools must devise measures to grow into baccalaucate institutions, also. Among the existing courses, the Self Study Degree Program should be converted into RN, BSN courese provided by universities, and clinical training for the University on the Air must be supplimented, The possibility of establishing nursing courses into commercial high school programs only jeopardizes the development of the nursing profession.

얼굴인식 템플릿 보호를 위한 Real Fuzzy Vault (Real Fuzzy Vault for Protecting Face Template)

  • 얼굴인식 시스템은 사용자 인터페이스의 편리함과 용이한 구현성에 기반하여 범죄 수사를 포함한 다양한 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 얼굴인식정보가 불법 사용자에게 누설되었을 때 개인의 프라이버시를 침해 할 수 있는 문제점을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실수형 오류정보 부호 코드화를 이용하여 얼굴인식 정보를 보호하기 위한 Real fuzzy vault 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 분실시 재생성할 수 없는 얼굴영상 정보와 달리 개인 키값을 수시로 변경할 수 있으므로 사용자의 프라이버시를 보호할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 제안된 방법을 실제 얼굴인식에 응용하기 위하여 구현하여 실험함으로서 논문에서 제안된 방법의 타당성과 유용성을 보였다.

Background Level of Atmospheric Radon-222 Concentrations at Gosan Station, Jeju Island, Korea in 2011

  • Real-time monitoring of hourly atmospheric radon (Rn-222) concentration was performed throughout 2011 at Gosan station, Jeju Island, one of the least polluted regions in Korea, in order to characterize the background levels, and temporal variations on diurnal to seasonal time-scales. The annual mean radon concentration for 2011 was $2527{\pm}1356$ mBq $m^{-3}$, and the seasonal cycle was characterized by a broad winter maximum, and narrow summer minimum. Mean monthly radon concentrations, in descending order of magnitude, were Oct > Sep > Feb > Nov > Jan > Dec > Mar > Aug > Apr > Jun > May > Jul. The maximum monthly mean value (3595 mBq $m^{-3}$, October), exceeded the minimum value (1243 mBq $m^{-3}$, July), by almost a factor of three. Diurnal composite hourly concentrations increased throughout the night to reach their maximum (2956 mBq $m^{-3}$) at around 7 a.m., after which they decreased to their minimum value (2259 mBq $m^{-3}$) at around 3 p.m. Back trajectory analyses indicated that the highest radon events typically exhibited long-term continental fetch over Asia before arriving at Jeju. In contrast, low radon events were generally correlated with air mass fetch over the North Pacific Ocean. Radon concentrations typical of predominantly continental, and predominantly oceanic fetch, differed by a factor of 3.8.

Electrochemical Noise Analysis on the General Corrosion of Mild steel in Hydrochloric Acid Solution

  • The polarization resistance of mild steel in 0.5M hydrochloric acid has been evaluated by using impedance (Z) and linear polarization (LPR) techniques and compared to the noise resistance obtained from electrochemical noise data. The degree of localization of this general corrosion has also been discussed by evaluating localization index and power spectral density. Polarization resistance obtained by LPR technique ($28\Omega$) was higher than that obtained by impedance technique ($15\Omega$). Noise resistance ($11\Omega$) was much lower than polarization resistance measured by both of above techniques. Higher polarization resistance obtained by LPR technique is generally caused by passivation effect in the presence of scales or deposits which can introduce an increased resistance as can low conductivity electrolytes. The reason why noise resistance is lower than polarization resistance is the effect of background noise detected by using three platinum electrodes cell in 0.5M hydrochloric acid. Slope($-\beta$) of power spectral density (PSD) obtained from analysis of noise data ($-\beta$ = 3.3) was much higher than 2 which indicates mild steel corroded uniformly. Localization index (LI) calculated from statistical analysis (LI=0.08) is much lower than 1 which indicates that mild steel did not corroded locally. However, LI value is still higher than $1x10^{-3}$ and this indicates that mild steel corroded locally in microscopic point of view.

간호사의 환자교육 촉진 및 방해요인 조사 연구 : Theory of Planned Behavior를 기반으로 (A Study of Determinants of Patients Education Behavior of Clinical Nurses in Korea)

  • Purpose of this study was determining predictor variables of Korean nurses' intention to educate clients and their significant others using the theory of planned behavior (TPB). Nurses working in health institutions (N=221) were conveniently selected from 2 RN-BSN programs and 2 hospitals in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do. A packet of questionnaires was developed according to the guidelines of the TPB. Multiple regression and Pearson product coefficients were used to analyze the data. Korean nurses showed positive intention to education their patients. They also showed positive attitude toward the patients education while perceived strong social pressure of teaching the patients. Attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control were the predictors of the intention as the theory proposed. Especially the perceived behavioral control was the best predictors among them. Time to prepare themselves for the patient education; high self-esteem as a teacher; a perception that patients want nurses as a resource person; and the quality of information that nurse perceived they had were the predictors among the perceived behavioral control variables. Three recommendation were identified for the effective patient education. Nurses should be prepared to teach patients in their nursing school so that they have self-esteem as a competent teacher. The professional patient educators who are well-prepared for educating patients and their family are strongly recommended. Finally, development of a patient education center in the health institution were also recommended for its quality control.
