This study applied the network text analysis to reveal the scope and trends of low cost carrier studies. We analyzed low cost carrier research published in Korean journals and news articles. The results showed that there are three clusters in terms of research topics. First dimension consists of articles investigating growth in the low cost carrier industry. The second dimension is associated with service characteristics. The last dimension has strong ties organizational and human resource dimension. We run Krkwic, Krtitle, Netdraw, and Ucinet 6.0 to conduct the network text analysis. This study suggests the direction of low cost carrier research in the future.

Primary intracranial melanoma is uncommon. These tumors most commonly occur at the temporal lobe, cerebellum and cerebellopontine angle. We report a case of intracranial malignant melanoma of the occipital lobe in a 60-year-old man who presented with headache and visual disturbance. The mass showed hyperintensity on T1-weighted images and hypointensity on T2-weighted magnetic resonance images. He underwent gross total removal of tumor and received radiotherapy. Follow-up imaging studios showed neither recurrence nor any signs of residual disease for 4 months.

The purpose of this study was to provide data for the stress and difficulty of the principal on the day-care centers. For this purpose, we had interviewed with 154 principals on the day-care centers in Daejeon and Chungcheong-do. The principals reported that they had stress about administration of day-care center normally. Their stress was different by the type of the center, the number of the class and their sex. They had difficulties in administrating teachers, managing the center, relating with the authorized officials, and finances. For the governing their center expertly, they needed to improve the quality of teachers, to amplify the financial support, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to develop vocational English textbooks for vocational high school, especially marine production high school. Vocational English is intended to increase English proficiency in the area of specific industry or jobs. Based on the review of the literature, the study established developed vocational English textbooks for marine production high school based on the modular system. The developing process includes analysis for marine production job, marine production high school and current English textbook for marine production. Based on the analysis, this study developed English contents which marine production students utilize in not only school but also workplace. Also, this study suggests future research directions for effective development and use of the textbooks in the vocational high schools.

When we have both a paired data set and two independent data sets, neither a paired t-test nor a two-sample t-test can be used to detect differences between two samples. In order to identify differentially expressed genes in a mixed data set, a new test statistic is proposed.

13 cases of traumatic diaphragmatic ruptures were treated at the department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery in Lee-Rha general hospital, Cheong-Ju, Choong Cheong Buk Do, between Oct. 1989 and Feb. 1992. The above 13 cases were reviewed in this study. And the following results were obtained. 1. Sex ratio is 11: 2 with male dominance 2. The 9 cases were due to blunt trauma and other 4 cases were due to penetrating injury. 3. Right side injury was more common than left[7: 5] and there was 1 case of central type which ruptured through subepicardial diaphragm. 4. All of the cases had association injury. 5. Preoperative diagnosis was possible in the 9 cases and others were diagnosed during operation under other indication. 6. Finger exploration was one of effective diagnostic procedure. 7. All of diaphragmatic ruptures was corrected through thoracotomy and exploratory laparotomy was done in 6 cases. 8. A patient died after operation due to associated injuries.

This paper describes how to make tailored blanks of front side member that were composed of high strength steel and TRIP(TRansformation Induced Plasticity) steel for weight reduction and improvement of crash load. Tailored blanks made by laser and mash-seam welding were compared with non-tailored blanks made by spot welding. Static compression tests were performed for performance comparison of each sample. Front side members made by tailored blank were superior to those made by spot welding in the initial, but those results were inverse in the last. Average load of tailored blank in six-angle type was better than that of rectangular type.

Objective: The study aims to examine fathers' parental stress and the variables effecting parental stress of fathers with infants. Methods: One hundred seventeen fathers with 0 to 2 year-olds were recruited from daycare centers in Daejeon metropolitan city. The Korean version of the Parenting Stress Index Short Form (K-PSI-SF) by Lee, Jung, Park and Kim(2008), The Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form (Koss-SF) by Jang and Ko(2005), and the Revised-Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale(RKMSS) by Chung (2004) were used to measure fathers'parental stress, occupational stress, and marital satisfaction. Results: First, the most influential variable that affected father's parental stress was their marital satisfaction. The fathers felt less parental stress when they felt higher marital satisfaction. Second, fathers felt less parental stress when their occupational environments were family friendly. Conclusion/Implications: Ways to improve mariatal satisfacation and a family friendly evironment at work should be sought out in order to lessen the parental stress of fathers raising infants.
