  • 최근 주목받고 있는 RFID시스템은 여러가지 장점으로 인하여 제조, 유통, 보건, 국방, 오락 등 다양한 분야에서 동시에 도입할 가능성이 높다. 이 경우 응용솔루션 개발자는 시간적, 인적 자원이 한정되어 있기 때문에 다양한 솔루션을 짧은 시간내에 고품질로 개발하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이를 극복하기 위하여 RFID를 응용하는 다양한 분야의 업무프로세스 및 요구기능 분석을 통하여 RFID 응용솔루션의 플랫폼을 제시하고, 이를 바탕으로 개발생산성을 극대화하기 위하여 UML을 확장한 RFID 응용솔루션 개발 프로세스를 제시하였다.

  • 최근 바코드를 대신하여 많이 사용되는 RFID의 상용화와 이에 관련된 기술에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 하지만 RF를 이용한 기술은 구조적 특성상 프로톨콜이 노출 되는 문제점이 발생한다. 또한 광범위한 지역에서 RFID사용과 임시적인 RFID사용은 비용상 문제점이 있다. 본 논문은 RFID의 요소 중 DB(Server)를 제외한 리더와 태그 간의 통신을 통한 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다. 또한 리더와 태크만의 구성으로 비용을 절감하고자 하며, AVISPA를 이용하여 제안한 프로토콜의 안전성을 검증 한다.

  • In order to become a mega hub port, major ports all over the world are making every effort to enhance their productivity through efficiency of internal operation and introduction of the state-of-the-art technologies. They are not only installing various kinds of high-technology equipments but also introducing advanced technologies for the development of an effective gate system. Recently thanks to the appearance of RFID (radio frequency identification) and OCR (optical character recognition) technology, major container terminals are stewing up the automation of truck and container identification at the container luminal gate. This study aim to develop an automated gate system for identification task based on RFID and OCR technology. It will make mn effective gate operations in a container terminal.

  • The application of ubiquitous technology offers many chances for improving construction management technologies. Currently the Construction System Integration Lab (CSIL) at Pusan National University is executing research on applying ubiquitous technology for better communication in the construction process. One of the research area is the implementation of RFID for monitoring the concrete pour process. The objective of this study is to collect data occurring in the process and use the data be properly planning concrete pour activities. Case study has been done on an actual concrete work. For the study a user environment was developed interfacing on internet with RFID devices that were installed in a batch plant and a construction site. The result of the test demonstrated that the RFID-based concrete monitoring can be a feasible approach for improving the communication in the construction process.

  • 전세계적으로 RFID 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 RFID 기술 및 서비스에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있으며 다양한 응용분야에 적용되고 있다. 특히, 국내에서는 휴대폰과 RFID를 결합한 모바일 RFID 시스템을 도입하고 있으므로 가까운 미래에 RFID의 도입이 크게 확대될 것으로 기대되고 있다. 하지만국내의 경우 미국에 비해 RFID 주파수 채널 수가 작고 한 채널의 점유 대역폭도 좁으므로 향후 RFID 도입이 확산됨에 따라 주파수 간섭 및 채널 용량의 제한 등의 문제가 대두될 것으로 예상된다. 본 고에서는 국내외 RFID 규격의 최신 동향을 살펴보고, RFID에서 발생하는 주파수 간섭 및 이를 해결하기 위한 Medium Access 기술의 최신 동향을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • The 'gate non-stop system utilizing RFID (900MHz)', which is the core of this research, is the system which connects RFID to recognize the vehicle information without stopping when a vehicle (trailer) passes a gate to carry in or out containers in a terminal and automatically provides the container information provided by the terminal for the RFLDU device installed in the vehicle.In order to design and implement this, the RFID technical section uses a UHF band (900MHz) RFID tag and a reader and implements a RFID middleware and an application program for smooth data collection and execution (operation). In addition, the system stability was verified through experiments and operations of the system implemented in this research at real harbors/quays, and based on the verified result, the maximization of vehicle (trailer) and terminal productivity and the reduction of distribution cost are expected.

  • Recently, as the problems related to agricultural product's safety occur continuously, the system with traceability that can quickly trace back the agricultural products with problems occurred and enable the analysis of causes and prohibition of distribution is required. Therefore, the recording of distribution data is important for this system and for this purpose, the RFID technology that can perceive tags from remote place through radio frequency can be effectively used. But, since the RFID is a technology that is being watched recently, the system that processes RFID tags and distribution data is trifling. Hereby, this thesis designed and implemented the RFID processing system that enables the career trace by analyzing and managing the data on recorded RFID tags and career data based on the standard of traceability.

  • This paper shows the results of the comparative analysis of differences and similarities between GPS-based and RFID-based traffic information collection systems for testing the applicability of RFID system in urban street settings in Jeju island, Korea. For this, we reviewed both traffic information collection systems in terms of accuracy, link design scheme and cost. Regarding accuracy and real world applicability, the GPS-based system is superior and accurate. In terms of the operational cost during the first 10 years, however, the cost of RFID-based system was identified lower than that of GPS-based system. The applicability of RFID-based system, in spite of the weakness of accuracy and applicability, was tested successfully in urban settings. Some limitations and future research agenda have also been presented.

  • Thia paper suggests a milti user-authentication system comprises that DNA biometric informatiom, owner's RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) smartcard of hardware token, and PKI digital signqture of software. This system improved items proposed in [1] as follows : this mechanism provides one RFID smartcard instead of two user-authentication smartcard(the biometric registered seal card and the DNA personal ID card), and solbers user information exposure as RFID of low proce when the card is lost. In addition, this can be perfect multi user-autentication system to enable identification even in cases such as identical twins, the DNA collected from the blood of patient who has undergone a medical procedure involving blood replacement and the DNA of the blood donor, mutation in the DNA base of cancer cells and other cells. Therefore, the proposed system is applied to terminal log-on with RFID smart card that stores accurate digital DNA biometric information instead of present biometric user-authentication system with the card is lost, which doesn't expose any personal DNA information. The security of PKI digital signature private key can be improved because secure pseudo random number generator can generate infinite one-time pseudo randon number corresponding to a user ID to keep private key of PKI digital signature securely whenever authenticated users access a system. Un addition, this user-authentication system can be used in credit card, resident card, passport, etc. acceletating the use of biometric RFID smart' card. The security of proposed system is shown by statistical anaysis.

  • RFID is issued as a core technology for Ubiquitous environment recently. Especially, Mobile RFID which is converged with RFID and wireless internet, provides new services to users, increased added-value to service providers. For commercial service of Mobile RFID, it needs an accounting service. The Diameter Base Protocol, mostly used for authentication, authorization, and accounting service, supports only deferred accounting service. For more variable accounting policy, Diameter Credit-Control Application which is capable of prepayment accounting, also should be considered. In this paper, a new accounting model with Diameter Credit-Control Application for Mobile RFID service is proposed.
