  • Interference always exists between wireless communication systems used in the same frequency band or adjacent frequency bands. In order to deploy a new wireless communication system such as a 5G system, a new frequency band must be allocated to the system. For this purpose, after analyzing interference between the existing system and the new system, a method of setting a frequency guard band or a minimum separation distance has been used as a passive method to limit the interference effect. This paper presents a wideband RF IRM(Interference Reduction Module) that can actively reduce the influence of interference between wireless communication systems. The wideband RF IRM can reduce the interference effects of 5G signals on satellite signals. The principle and structure of the wideband RF IRM are presented. The wideband RF IRM can suppress approximately 20dB of interference signal in 100MHz bandwidth when only interference signal exists. It also shows that when a 5G interference signal of -45dBm/100MHz and a satellite signal of -55dBm/40MHz exist simultaneously at a center frequency of 3.83GHz, about 15dB of 5G interference signal can be reduced in the frequency range covered by the satellite signal. The experimental results demonstrate that the wideband RF IRM can actively reduce the 5G interference signal on the satellite signal and can be used for the purpose of reducing the interference effect in a similar environment.

  • With the progress of USN technology, fields to which wireless sensor node is applicable are increased under a condition that it holds a lot of problems to solve for betterment. One of the problems which acts as an obstacle to USN industry diffusion is the wireless sensor node battery exchange to their individual life cycle. Exchanging the battery of so many sensor nodes one by one requires a great deal of times and costs. Such problem is against the convenience supply -aim by applying USN technology. In this paper, using RF wireless power transmission system that power transmission / harvesting module from a distance of 5 m and the power of 10 dBm with a current of 1 mA or more for Sensor Nodes in lithium-polymer battery charging system tested and verified.

  • The researches about the hardware and the software implementing ubiquitous sensor network have great rush in recent years. This paper deals the development of a sensor node with the dual interface which also has an RF wireless interface while has an Bluetooth interface used widely in present. This sensor node includes a Atmeg32 microcontroller, a Bluetooth module, a RF module. a temperature-humidity sensor. and I also develop the F/Ws controlling each modules with C language using GCC compiler. The sensor node developed can reaches 15m with Bluetooth interface and 60m with RF interface. It works stably with the voltage above 5V and it consumes currents 21mA average in idle mode, 63mA average in active mode.

  • This paper introduces a modulation method for digital wireless communication based on general DS-QPSK. The design and fabrication is for home networking application to a typical RF transmitter with DS-QPSK modulator. This modulator implemented using VHDL hardware programming language, the fabrication of IC chip $5{\times}5 mm^2$ was carried by 27th IDEC MPW(Multi Project Wafer) process in 0.35${\mu}m$ rule at Samsung Inc. This paper presented the important of this technology for the future application in wireless sensor. This module can be efficient usage for home network to transmit the RF wireless sensor system.

  • This paper proposed the Low power configuration of Single hop WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) system. When the RF communication is done each tag node during the WSN systems operating, power consumption is greatest. There for, if you configure the Network with the RF communication module turn on/off periodically, power consumption less then operating the module all the time without it toggles. However, some data omissions may occur in which transmission and receipt is done. So this paper proposed the algorithm for low power system without data omissions.

  • In this paper, a wireless video streaming system is designed and implemented for TV white space applications. It consists of a RF transceiver module, a digital modem, a camera, and a LCD screen. A VGA resolution video is captured by a camera, modulated by modem, and transmitted by RF transceiver module, and finally displayed at a destination 2.6-inch LCD screen. The RF transceiver is based on direct-conversion architecture. Image leakage is improved by low pass filtering LO, which successfully covers the TVWS. Also, DC offset problem is solved by current steering techniques which control common mode level at DAC output node. The output power of the transmitter and the minimum sensitivity of the receiver is +10 dBm and -82 dBm, respectively. The channel bandwidth is tunable among 6, 7 and 8 MHz according to regulations and standards. Digital modem is realized in Kintex-7 FPGA. Data rate is 9 Mbps based on QPSK and 512ch OFDM. A VGA video is successfully streamed through the air by using the developed TV white-space RF communication module.
