  • In this paper, an efficient and robust localization algorithm using Receiver Signal Strength Difference (RSSD) for a non-cooperative RF emitter is given. The proposed algorithm firstly calculate the center point and radius of Apollonius's circles and then estimate the intersection point of the circles based on Time of Arrival concept. And this paper also compares the performance of RSSD localization algorithms such as Non-linear Least Squares and Linearized Least Squares by Lines of Position (LOP) with the proposed algorithm. And some conclusions have been reached regarding the relative accuracy, robustness and computational cost of these algorithms.

  • By the complemental frequency characteristics of directional filter in passband and stopband the method of isolation between microwave RF and low frequency If is derived. And when this characteristic of microstrip directional filter is applied to MIC balanced mixer from 3.7 to 4.2 GHz, the experimental results of isolation and return loss are more than 20 65 in this band. This balanced mixer with the microstrip coupled directional filter is suitable for the DBS microwave receiver system.

  • In this paper, we realized a transceiver system for short distance communication with a commercial RF module working in ISM band and a microprocessor. Also we measured system performance by transmitting baseband data in a building and then we compared the demodulated 긴ta bits with stored data bits in a PC connected with demodulator. The RF module in the experiments works oかy in the bandwidth, 424MHz - 429MHz. with FM mode. The signal level degrades as the distance between transmitter and receiver increases we measured the signal level and bit error in the building of engineering college of our university. we present the measured data with various locations in the building. and the data may be used in design short distance network in a building.

  • In this paper presents the portable wireless ECG data detection and diagnosis system based on discreet wavelet transform. An algorithm based on wavelet transform suitable for real time implementation has been developed in order to detect ECG characteristics. In particular, QRS complex, S and T waves may be distinguished form noise, baseline drift or artifacts. Proposed telemetry system that a transmitting media using radio frequency(RF) for the middle range measurement of the physiological signals and receiving media using optical for electromagnetic interference problem. A standard hi-directional serial communication interface between the telemetry system and a personal computer or laptop, allows read-time controlling, diagnosing and monitoring of system. A portable telemetry system within a size. of 65${\times}$125${\times}$45mm consists of three parts: a digital signal processing part for physiological signal detect or diagnose, RF transmitter for data transfer and a optical receiver for command receive. Advantages of proposed telemetry system is wireless middle range(50m) FM transmission, reduce electromagnetic interference to a minimum. which enables a comfortable diagnosis system at home.

  • In this paper, we presented an active RFID system in 2.45GHz range including LNA, Mixer and gain block. And in this work, a link budget model for RFID applications are proposed. We describe the detailed design and implementation of our system. Our components in RFID system has features such as low Noise Figure, reliable energy budget, and standard compliance with ISO 18000-4. Our receiver is effective for development and evaluation of prototype applications because of the flexibility of the design hardware. So, our platform will be suitable for versatile item management applications.

  • Radio Frequency (RF) signal fluctuates dynamically in wireless communication environments, where this fluctuation is severe especially in vehicular environments. Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is critical in wireless communications to establish reliable communication links and compensate the received signal fluctuation. In this paper, we introduce a simple and novel AGC scheme which uses both Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and analog-to digital converter (ADC) signals. Performance enhancement of the proposed AGC scheme is verified with practical measurements including simulations.

  • For implementation of FM-DS/SS system. This paper has analyzed SO(Synchronous Oscillator) being oscillated by the motivation of injected signal. Transmitter has adopted FM-DS/SS modulation method using RF output-signal of FM. Receiver is used SO to demodulation of FM-DS/SS and applied sliding correlator for synchronization of PN clock. As a result of the inspection, SO presented stable lock ability in spite of doppler apperance and proved the synchronous properties of it in the FM-DS/SS system.

  • This paper presents the properties of the RF part in the receiving system based in IMT-2000 terminal technology. It mainly discuss the RF parameter performance of the receiving system for mobile telecommunication comparable to IS-98A and J-STD-018 specifications of commercially available CDMA and PCS, and is to anticipate the processing gain of the IMT-2000 receiving system, processing gain according to data processing rate, and terminal noise figure according to processing gain, relationship between noise figures according to Eb/Nt, Ioc. It is performed by such analysis method as CDMA and PCS receiving systems. Transmission bandwidth is n$\times$1.25 MHz(n=1, 3, 6, 9, 12) which is recommended by Qualcomm and NTT, the leading company in cdma 2000. Data transmission rate of IMT-2000 is classified into three cases as in moving vehicle environment of 144Kbps, outdoor pedestrian environment of 384Kbps, and indoor office environment of 2Mbps

  • In this paper, we propose a system model which effectively transmits the data and conducts RF energy harvesting in a wireless communication network of LTE and 5G. Through time switching and power splitting schemes, we find a time & power ratio to show the good performance according to the standard that we set up for transmitting a signal and conducting RF energy harvesting. So selecting optimal time & power ratio, we can efficiently transfer data to other drones and harvest the amount of harvested power simultaneously we desire. Also, according to conducting the performance analysis, we can compare an ideal receiver with the proposed system model. And, we suggest a future direction of research.
