  • The electrical characteristics of MQFP packages have been measured in RF regime. The s-parameter of the lead frame has been measured using the test fixture on which the do-capped package was mounted. A simple lumped equivalent circuit modeling of the lead frame and the test fixture can provide reasonable model parameters up to the frequency of 200 MHz.

  • The biological effects for the use of hypertherinla to treat malignant tumors has been well studied and encouraging clinical results have been reported. However, the engineering and technical aspects of hyperthermia for the deepseated tumors has not been satisfactory. We have developed the FF capacitive hyperthermia device(GHT RF8)by cooporation with Yonsei Cancer Center and Green Cross Medical Equipment Corporation. It was composed with 8.10 MHz RF generator, capacitive electrode, matching system, cooling system, temperature measuring thermocouples and control PC computer. We have measured the temperature and thermal distribution in agar phantom, animals and human tumors.

  • In-Sn-Zn-O 박막을 2개의 케소드(DC, RF)를 이용해magnetron co-sputtering법으로 polycarbonate (PC)기판위에 성막하였다. ITO와 ZnO 타겟은 각각 DC와 RF power supply에 의해 스퍼터 되었다. ISZO 박막의 가장 낮은 비저항은 RF power 55W 일 때 얻을 수 있었고, 이것은 케리어 밀도의 증가에 의한 것이라 생각되어 진다.

  • We have investigated the effect of annealing on the structural and optical properties of polycrystalline Ga doped ZnO (GZO) films grown on glass substrates by RF-magnetron sputter at room temperature. The structural and optical properties of as-grown GZO films were characterized and then samples were annealed at $400{\sim}600^{\circ}C$ in $N_2$ ambient for 30, 60 minutes, respectively. The field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to measure the grain size and the crystalline quality of the films. We found that the crystalline quality was improved and the grain size tends to be increased. The optical properties of GZO thin films were analyzed by UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometers. It is found that optical properties of thin films are increased by annealing and can be used for transparent electrode application. We believe that the appropriate post-growth heat treatment could be contributed to the improvement of GZO-based devices.

Quality characteristics of muffins prepared with different types of rice flour (쌀가루의 종류를 달리하여 제조한 머핀의 품질 특성)

  • The quality characteristics of muffins with different types of rice flour, such as soft flour (CON), soft rice flour (SRF), floury rice flour (FRF), and rice flour (RF) were assessed by using Image J program, which includes their particle size analysis, moisture content, pH, color, specific volume, baking loss rate, texture. (D[4, 3]) is weighted mean diameter, which is directly obtained in particle size measurements showed large values in the order of rice flour, floury rice flour, soft rice flour, and soft flour. The moisture content was high in the CON and SRF groups with small particle sizes. There was no significant difference in pH, L and b value. The a value was significantly low only in the RF group with large particle size. The smaller the particle size, the higher the specific volume and baking loss rate. Image J showed that the number of pores decreased when fewer smaller particles were the powder, but the pores were larger. Among the rice flours, the SRF group, excluding the CON group, scored high in all the acceptability elements. The results from this study can be used as basic data that can contribute to research on various rice-processed foods.

n2O3: SnO2 조성비에 따른 ITO박막의 광학적 및 전기적 특성

  • 투명전도성 산화물(TCO,Transparent Conductive Oxide) 물질로 널리 사용되는 ITO 박막은 산화물 반도체를 평판 디스플레이용 투명전극 재료로 개발하기 위한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. ITO (Indium tin oxide)는 약 3.5 eV 정도의 넓은 밴드갭을 가진 축퇴반도체로서 전기적 및 광학적 특성이 우수하기 때문에 대표적 투명전도성 박막으로 가장 많이 사용되고 있다.현재 양산화된 ITO의 조성비는 90:10WT%인 타겟을 사용하는대 투명전극은 비저항이 $1{\times}10-3{\Omega}/sq$이하로 면저항이 $103{\Omega}/sq$전기전도성이 우수하고 380에서 780 nm의 가시광선 영역에서의 투과율이 80% 이상이라는 두 가지 성질을 만족시키는 박막이다. 본 실험에서는 SnO2 1~5wt% 인 ITO타겟을 제작하고 RF-Magnetron Sputtering을 사용하여 영구자석을 이용한 고밀도 플라즈마로 높은 점착성과, 균일한 박막 및 대면적 공정이 가능한 RF-magnetron sputtering방법으로 기판인 Slide glass위에 ITO를 증착하여 광학적 특성 및 전기적 특성에 대하여 측정하였다. 전기적, 광학적 특성 등 XRD을 통해 분석하였다. 그리고 증착된 모든 ITO 박막에서 가시광 투과율을 측정하기 위해 UV-Vis spectrophptometer을 이용하여 분석한 결과 90%이상의 높은 투과율이 측정되었다. ITO박막은 Anti-Fogging, Self-Cleaning, Solar cell 및 디스플레이소자 등 다양한 산업에 이용 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

Ablation Characteristics of Bovine Liver According to Cool-Tip Temperature of RFA Equipment (고주파 열치료 장비의 Cool-Tip 온도에 따른 소간의 소작 특성)

  • This study confirmed the correlation between the change of the cooling water in internal cooling system and the size of the ablation site of bovine liver in RF heat treatment equipment. The bovine liver was resection with $4{\times}4{\times}4cm^3$ in 2cm cool-tip and with $6{\times}6{\times}6cm^3$ in 3cm cool-tip for the experiments. Area and perimeter of the ablation site for bovine liver were measured by Freehand techniques of MRI. It showed area and perimeter decreased during cool-tip temperature rises 6 and 12 minutes ablation using a 2cm and 3cm cool-tip. The correlation of cool-tip temperature and area and perimeter was statistically significant the result are shown(p=.000). The measurements of area and perimeter were more accurate with MRI in actual measurements and MRI for ablation range. The statistical results using Paired sample T-test was also significant(p=.038). The ablation range of bovine liver decreased according as cooling water temperature increases in RF heat treatment equipment for reason of carbonization occurred due to does not accurately pass the RF energy. Therefore, it is considered the effect of RF heat treatment would be increased if the temperature of the cooling water consistently maintain the low temperature in order to reduce the generation of carbide at RF heat treatment and RF energy is delivered accurately.

Preparation of Transparent and Conducting $SnO_2$ Thin Films by RF Magnetron Sputtering Method (RF 마그네트론 스퍼터링법에 의한 투명 전도성 $SnO_2$박막의 제조)

  • Transparent and conducting Sb-doped $SnO_2$ thin films were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering technology. But it showed a serious damage phenomenon on the surface of as-deposited films. In order to avoid a damage caused in the substrate center and location facing to target erosion, a ring plate of masking glass was installed at 1.5 cm above target surface. The uniformity and electrical characteristic of $SnO_2$ thin films were evaluated by the control of optimal conditions in the magnetron sputtering operation such as rf power, sputtering gas pressure, and substrate temperature. In the experimental results using the operating conditions, the optimum temperature, which produced uniform and damageless films, shifted with the change of gas pressure. The rate was about $100^{\circ}C$/5 mTorr at rf power of 50 W Similarly, the optimum temperature in compensation for an increase of rf power shifted down to a proper rate.

  • ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) implementing information collection services and information support services for cars of moving fast needs a communication system of special aim such as RF-DSRC(Radio Frequency Dedicated Short Range Communication). Before RSE(Road Side Equipment) and OBE(On-Board Equipment) will be able to communicate RF-DSRC, OBE first have to request Link Initialization Access using ACTC(Activation Channel) in allocated ACTS(Activation Slot) by Slotted ALOHA. Even though Link Initialization Access is a important element to decide performance of communication system, optimal mathematic modeling study of Link Initialization Access which is adapted RF-DSRC characteristics is not enoush. So, in this paper, we propose mathematical modeling about Link Initialization Access of RF-DSRC. And then we computed Link Initialization Access probability defining offer load(G) which is adapted RF-DSRC characteristics for analyzing performance of modeling.
