An Economic Evaluation of MSW RDF Production Plant (생활폐기물 고형연료(RDF) 제조기술 경제성 평가)

  • The waste treatment fee and energy production effect of Wonju city RDF plant, the first RDF manufacturing plant in Korea, were investigated in the study. All plant operation data, like total weight of received wastes, produced RDF and separated rejects in processes were fully recorded for mass balance calculation of the plant in 2009. Also all consumed oil and electricity were recorded for energy balance calculation. The results showed that the waste treatment fee not including the RDF sales price of 25,000 won/ton-RDF was 116,573 won/ton-MSW and it went down to 105,298 won when included the RDF price. Produced RDF was 40.2% of total received waste in weight. Three components analysis by mass balance calculation of total received waste showed that Wonju city's MSW was 32.4% of combustible, 37.5% of water and 30.1% of incombustible respectively. Energy effect was found that total amount of produced energy was about 4 times more than that of consumed energy.

  • The quantity of business information like to be shared enterprise information and business catalog quickly increased because of activating e-commerce. Necessary of metadata management which is using RDF was required. RDF metadata management does not have to be restricted by RDF/RDFS knowledges, has to describe web resources and has to support metadata validation. But research which supports this is not enough. In this paper we enable to create and manage RDF/RDFS document using various interfaces, change from metadata to N-Triple and verify metadata validation.

  • XML 또는 RDBMS 에서의 키워드 검색은 기존의 정보 검색처럼 데이터의 구조 또는 질의 언어에 대한 사전 지식 없이 질의 처리를 수행하는 연구 분야 중의 하나이다. 오늘날 키워드 검색을 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 제안된 연구들은 그래프 기반의 질의 처리에 기반한 기법들에 초점을 두고 있다. 이러한 접근들은 XML 또는 RDBMS 안에 존재하는 데이터를 그래프 구조에 기반한 데이터로 변환한 다음에 그래프 탐색을 통해서 모든 질의 키워드를 포함하는 결과들을 찾는다. 그러나 기존의 기법들을 RDF/S 또는 OWL 문서와 같은 복잡한 그래프 구조에 적용하기에는 질의 성능 측면에서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 또한, 온톨로지 언어의 의미적 단위로서의 RDF 트리플을 고려하지 않기 때문에 질의 결과에 대한 신뢰성을 보장할 수 없다. 이러한 관점에서 본 논문은 RDF/S 또는 OWL 저장소에서 효율적이고 의미적인 키워드 검색을 위한 인덱싱 기법 및 알고리즘을 설계한다.

  • A new technology for refused derive fuel(RDF) utilization in circulating fluidized bed is under development. The RDF is tested in a bench scale circulating fluidized bed(CFB) combustor and it's burning characteristics were investigated and collected as design parameters. The combustions were controllable and the HCl emission which is most important toxic emission were below 150ppm out of combustor. The differences between conventional coal burning circulating fluidized bed boiler and the exclusive RDF boiler were studied and commercial scale co-generation RDF CFB's were designed.

  • 시멘틱웹을 구축하는 표준언어인 RDF (Resource Description Framework)는 언어의 그래프 기반 특성으로 인해 일반적인 방식들로는 효과적인 저장과 추출이 어렵다. 더욱이 대용량 RDF 데이터의 저장과 추출에는 성능문제가 더욱 커지므로 많은 연구들이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SPARQL을 지원하면서 RDF 파일들을 효과적으로 저장하고 검색할 수 있는 저장방식에 대해 연구한 결과를 제시한다. RDF 데이터를 전처리를 통해 RDF의 트리플(주어:subject, 술어:property, 목적어:Object)에서 중복되는 주어(S)나 목적어(O)를 묶고, 사용자가 SPARQL 형식으로 검색했을 때 이용자가 주어부분을 변수로 두었는지 아니면 서술어 부분을 변수로 두어 찾는지에 따라 검색어와 유사한 단어 클러스터를 찾아준다. 동일 단어에 대해 여러 번 검색되던 부분을 한 번 검색으로 처리할 수 있기 때문에 효율이 높아진다.

Automatic Construction of SHACL Schemas for RDF Knowledge Graphs Generated by R2RML Mappings

  • With the proliferation of RDF knowledge graphs(KGs), there arose a need of a standardized schema representation of the graph model for effective data interchangeability and interoperability. The need resulted in the development of SHACL specification to describe and validate RDF graph's structure by W3C. Relational databases(RDBs) are one of major sources for acquiring structured knowledge. The standard for automatic generation of RDF KGs from RDBs is R2RML, which is also developed by W3C. Since R2RML is designed to generate only RDF data graphs from RDBs, additional manual tasks are required to create the schemas for the graphs. In this paper we propose an approach to automatically generate SHACL schemas for RDF KGs populated by R2RML mappings. The key of our approach is that the SHACL shemas are built only from R2RML documents. We describe an implementation of our appraoch. Then, we show the validity of our approach with R2RML test cases designed by W3C.

  • In this paper, we proposes a method to automatically construct SHACL schemas for RDF knowledge graphs(KGs) generated by Direct Mapping(DM). DM and SHACL are all W3C recommendations. DM consists of rules to transform the data in an RDB into an RDF graph. SHACL is a language to describe and validate the structure of RDF graphs. The proposed method automatically translates the integrity constraints as well as the structure information in an RDB schema into SHACL. Thus, our SHACL schemas are able to check integrity instead of RDBMSs. This is a consideration to assure database consistency even when RDBs are served as virtual RDF KGs. We tested our results on 24 DM test cases, published by W3C. It was shown that they are effective in describing and validating RDF KGs.

  • Combustion of refuse derived fuel(RDF) and refuse plastic fuel (RPF) was carried out in a lab-scale circulating fluidized bed. Experiment was investigated cold flow visualization. RDF was made by C & tech and RPF was made by KRS. The results include distribution of temperature in the combustion chamber, and concentrations of flue gas such as $O_2$, $CO_2$, CO, $NO_x$ and HCs Micro G.C(gas chromatograph) was employed to find out concentration of He Temperature distribution was different when RDF and RPF were burnt respectably. As air ratio became increased, $CO_2$, CO, and total of HCs emissions were decreased. According to the number of carbon atom of HCs, HC were classified as five kinds of HC.

  • RDF의 활용이 증가하면서 RDF데이터를 저장하는 방법 또한 많은 연구가 이루어졌다. 그래프 형태인 RDF 데이터를 테이블로 바꿀 때, 동일한 데이터가 중복 저장되어 검색 시 불필요한 연산을 하는 문제점이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 중복저장 및 불필요한 검색을 줄이기 위해 색인을 주어(S), 목적어(O) 색인과 이들의 중복 값을 별도의 색인을 만들고, 검색 시 중복 값을 확인하여 필요한 색인만 검색하는 기법을 제안한다. 실험에서 본 기법을 사용하여 불필요한 검색을 줄여서 전체적인 검색 시간이 줄어드는 것을 확인하였다.

Properties of inorganic components in the specified waste (지정폐기물 내 미량 무기물질의 특성)

  • The interest on the recovery of thermal energy using the industrial waste has been rising to solve the problems of continuous increase of waste generation and the depletion of the fossil fuel recently. To recovery from the waste among the new recyclable energies has been proved as the most favorable when the potential value of energy source is compared. The RDF made from the industrial waste has been approved as the most economical method. This research has analyzed the heavy metal components containing in the industrial waste. The concentration of Cl and S in the industrial waste generated in C-industrial complex are slightly high than that of the B- and A-industrial complex. The main components generated from A-industrial complex, B-industrial complex, and C-industrial complex are alumina-silicates, calcium alumina silicates, and the mixture of lime and calcium alumina silicate. These results could be used to reveal the origin of inorganic components in industrial waste and utilized as a basic data to improve the performance of the RDF as fuel.
