Peak cooling load of large buildings is generally greater than their peak heating load. Internal and solar heat gains are used fur selection of adquate equipment in large building in cold winter climate like Canada and even Korea. The cost of geothermal heat exchanger to meet the cooling loads can increase the initial cost of ground source heat pump system to the extend less costly conventional system often chosen. Thermal ice storage system has been used for many years in Korea to reduce chiller capacity and shift Peak electrical time and demand. A distribution system designed to take advantage of heat extracted from the ice, and use of geothermal loop (geothermal heat exchanger) to heat as an alternate heat source and sink is well known to provide many benifits. The use of thermal energy storage (TES) reduces the heat pump capacity and peak cooling load needed in large building by as much as 40 to $60\%$ with less mechanical equipment and less space for mechanical room. Additionally TES can reduce the size and cost of the geothermal loop by 1/3 to 1/4 compared to ground coupled heat pump system that is designed to meet the peak heating and cooling load and also can eliminate difficuties of geothermal loop installation such as space requirements and thermal conditions of soil and rock at the urban area.

An experiment to measure the volume variation of bag net in a set-net by acoustic telemetry system was conducted in Jaran Bay, Gosung, Korea on 10 April to 23 April 2003. The long baseline telemetry system consists of three radio-acoustic linked positioning (RAP) buoys, a time controller with a personal computer and seven pingers. Six pingers were attached on the bottom of the bag-net and the other one was fixed on the sea bed. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. The average RAP buoy fixing errors of x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis were 0.2m, 0.4m, and 0.1m, respectively. 2. In the neap tide the minimum and maximum volume of the bag-net on 11 April 2003 were 4,173$m^3$(17:00) and 4,757$m^3$(12:00), respectively. The average current direction and speed at those times were 99.9$^{\circ}$, 12.9cm/s and 104.0$^{\circ}$, 2.4cm/s, respectively. 3. In the spring tide on 17 April 2003, the minimum and maximum volume were 2,016$m^3$(18:30) and 4,454$m^3$(15:00), respectively. The average current direction and speed at those times were 315.6$^{\circ}$, 16.1cm/s and 289.0$^{\circ}$, 5.7cm/s, respectively. 4. In conclusion the maximum variation of the volume on 17 April to 20 April 2003 was 3,552$m^3$ and it was larger 1.4 times than time on 11 April to 16 April 2003.

This study was performed to evaluate the effect of intravenous administration of glycopyrrolate on cardiovascular and respiratory system in dogs given intravenous medetomidine (20 ${\mu}g$/kg) and intramuscular midazolam (0.3 mg/kg) (MM). Prior to administration of MM, glycopyrrolate was administered intravenously at doses of 5 ${\mu}g$/kg (Gly-5), 10 ${\mu}g$/kg (Gly-10) or 20 ${\mu}g$/kg (Gly-20), respectively. For the control group saline was administered intravenously. In the cardiovascular system, HR, BP, RAP, PAWP, CI, SI, SVR, and PVR were measured. RR, $V_T$, $P_{ETCO2}$, and arterial blood gas analysis were measured for respiratory system. Although rapid and satisfied depth of sedation was obtained by MM, life-threatening bradycardia, the outstanding side-effect on cardiovascular system in dogs were observed. This combination also decreased CO and increased SVR, RAP, and PAWP significantly. The bradycardia could be prevented in all the glycopyrrolate treated groups, but tachycardia was observed in Gly-10 and Gly-20 groups. Significant increases in blood pressure were shown in glycopyrrolate treated groups. Also, tachycardia depends on dose of glycopyrrolate, compensating the CO. However, these were not fully reserved. In conclusion, MM combination could induce rapid and satisfied depth of sedation but was not the suitable method for the deep sedation of dogs with cardiovascular or circulatory problems.

Purpose: It has been reported that children with chronic pain have higher levels of anxiety than age-matched controls. Therefore, this study was designed to determine the relationship between anxiety and recurrent abdominal pain in elementary school children. Methods: In 2005, we surveyed 1,254 elementary school children (592 boys and 662 girls) whose ages ranged from 7 to 12 years. The degree of trait and state anxiety was compared between agroup suffering from intermittent abdominal pain, a group suffering from recurrent abdominal pain and a normal control group following the Korean version of Spielberger's State-Trait Anxiety Inventory YZ form (STAI-YZ). Results: 709 (56.5%) and 69 (5.5%) of the patients reported intermittent abdominal pain and and recurrent abdominal pain, respectively, during the 12 month period before this study was conducted, and trait and state anxiety values for each of these groups was 116 (9.3%) and 63 (5.0%), respectively. In addition, the State-Trait Anxiety score was significantly higher in the group with intermittent abdominal pain and RAP than the anxiety score of the normal control group. Additionally, the STAI-YZ score increased in proportion to the severity of abdominal pain, but was not correlated with the duration, frequency, onset time or location of abdominal pain. Furthermore, the proportion of the group with abdominal pain in the group that had trait or state anxiety was significantly higher than the proportion of the group that did not have trait and state anxiety. Conclusion: Recurrent abdominal pain during childhood is correlated with state and trait anxiety, therefore, psychological factors, such as anxiety duringtreatment, must also be considered when determining the cause of recurrent abdominal pain.

The purpose of this study was to analyze university student' perception of the price of coffee shops using price sensitivity measurements. The questionnaires were distributed to 640 university students in Changwon, Korea from March 13 to April 8, 2011. A total 571 were used for the final analysis, which excluded improperly-completed questionnaires. The results of this study were as follows. Indifference prices (IDPs) were \2,200 for on-campus coffee shops and \2,850 for off-campus coffee shops. The optimum price points (OPP) were \2,300 for on-campus coffee shops and \2,850 for off-campus coffee shops. The price stress range (PSR) was \100 (\2,200~2,300) for on-campus coffee shops and \0 (\2,850~2,850) for off-campus coffee shops. The point of marginal cheapness (PMC) was \1,100 for on-campus coffee shops and \1,500 for off-campus coffee shops, whereas the point of marginal expensiveness (PME) was \3,600 for on-campus coffee shops and \4,100 for off-campus coffee shops. The ranges of acceptable prices (RAP) were \2,500 (\1,100~3,600) for on-campus coffee shops and \2,600 (\1,500~4,100) for off-campus coffee shops. On the basis of IDP percentage, university students were more sensitive to off-campus coffee shops than on-campus coffee shops. In contrast, on the basis of PSR and RAP, university students were more sensitive to on-campus coffee shops than off-campus coffee shops. Therefore, the price increase for an americano should be recommended to be from \1,100 to \3,600 for on-campus coffee shops and from \1,500 to \4,100 for off-campus coffee shops. The manager of on-campus coffee shops should be careful when increasing the prices, and the manager of off-campus coffee shops should make it possible for customers to perceive service quality.

Using a random arbitrarily primed polymerase chain reaction, messenger RNA expression levels were assessed after exposure to 10% (v/v) toluene for 8 hr in solvent-tolerant Pseudomonas sp. BCNU 106. Among the 100 up-expressed products, 50 complementary DNA fragments were confirmed to express repeatedly; these were cloned and then sequenced. Blast analysis revealed that toluene stimulated an adaptive increase in the gene expression level in association with transcriptions such as LysR family of transcriptional regulators and RNA polymerase factor sigma-32. The expression of catalase and Mn2+/Fe2+ transporter genes functionally associated with inorganic ion transport and metabolism increased, and the increased expression of type IV pilus assembly PilZ and multi-sensor signal transduction histidine kinase genes, functionally categorized into signal transduction and mechanisms, was also demonstrated under toluene stress. The gene expression level of beta-hexosaminidase in association with carbohydrate transport and metabolism increased, and those of DNA polymerase III subunit epsilon, DNA-3-methyladenine glycosylase II, DEAD/DEAH box helicase domain-containing protein, and ABC transporter also increased after exposure to toluene in DNA replication, recombination, and repair, and even in defense mechanism. In particular, the RNAs corresponding to the ABC transporter, Mn2+/Fe2+ transporter, and the β-hexosaminidase gene were confirmed to be markedly induced in the presence of 10% toluene. Thus, defense mechanism, cellular ion homeostasis, and biofilm formation were shown as essential for toluene tolerance in Pseudomonas sp. BCNU 106.

This study aims at providing useful fundamental information to re-establish the theories of modern fashion by examining the origination and genealogy of street style. The street styles focusing on caucasoid have a variety of genealogies such as western type, beat, teddy boy, hippie, skinhead, punk, neuron-mantic, indie kid, riot grrrl, grunge and techno cyber punk. In the same period, on the contrary, the streets styles focusing on negroid are zootie, hipster, modernist, rude boy, two-tone, rastafarian, funky, B-boy, fly girl, raggamuffine, bhangra, and acid jazz, which are seen as the culture of the large cities formed along Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean sea like England, America and Jamaica. These have root as the main fashion in western society. Ironically, most of the subculture concentrated on the whites were racists. Because of such a reason, the street styles have been formed as resistance culture that was unable to sympathize with their society and characteristics by distinguishing the whites and the colored people. Zootie or hipster that is one of the street fashion styles was formed in the 1940-50s, while the colored people who lived in the west Indies migrated to England or America. As a minimal modernist style called Ivy look in US, in that time, anti-culture formed by teenagers in whitey, teddy boy and mods fashion can be strictly different from the zootie and hipster. The colored people's street styles of the 1960s developed into aggressive and hard forms from the rude boy and two-tone while their resistance toward the whites was stronger. The rastafarian style researched the peak as the colored people's traditional ethnic characteristics or resistance intention for their freedom in the 1970s. With B-boy, fly girl, reggae, rap music, and break dancing in the 1980s, the subculture gradually told on the high fashion as well as the culture between the whites and the colored people. From such aspects, the colored people tried to maintain their unique traditional characteristics. However, their individual values surged by the coming young generation excluded the colored people's characteristic street styles. Focusing on gender, violence and private success among their major concerns, the raga muffin style that represents multi-races and multi-cultures was formed. The jazz style in the 1990s showed cold post-modernistic eclecticism different from that of the 1940s-50s. Simultaneously, the various classes appeared their street styles by emphasizing on each personality. Now that we are living in multi-cultural society, a human race or nationalism concept is getting obscurer. There is no obvious boundary line in the differences between human race and its fashion.

The aim of this study is to examine the change of the osteoclastic activity in the surrounding bone with or without tooth movement after corticotomy by histologic study. Eighteen male Sprague Dawley rats with an average body weight of 300 g(range 250-350 g) were used. The rats were divided into three groups of six animals. They were operated corticotomy-assisted tooth movement and killed after 1 week, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks after tooth movement. Corticotomy was done in the surrounding of the both upper first molar. A split mouth design was used by referring to the contralateral side as control. After flap suturing, the upper left first molar was moved anteriorly by closed coil spring. The force applied was 1 N. The average of tooth movement of the 1 week group was $0.24{\pm}0.09mm,\;0.20{\pm}0.26mm$ in 2 weeks group and $0.41{\pm}0.39mm$ in 3 weeks group, respectively. The difference between the 1 week and the 2 weeks groups was very small to compare with the 3 weeks group. In the treatment group, the average numbers of cells that positively reacted to TRAP were 14.5 in the 1 week group, 12.0 in the 2 weeks group, and 6.0 in the 3 weeks group. In the control group, the numbers were 8.3 in the 1 week group, 12.8 in the 2 week group, and 1.5 in the 3 week group, respectively. The amount of tooth movement of the 3 week group was about twice as large as those of the 1 week and 2 week groups. From the standpoint of histology, the average number of cells that positively reacted to TRAP was initially larger in the treatment group than in the control group, similar in both group in 2 weeks, and became less in the treatment group in 3 weeks. Additionally, in the control group, their activity of osteoclast was higher in 2 weeks than in 1 week, and decreased rapidly in 3 weeks.

Marek(말액) is the headgear, which is a form of hempen hoods[Geon(건)] and the origin of it is Pa(파) of band form. A history book of an old Chinese country Post-Han $\ll$ History of HouHan (후한서)$\gg$ had recorded that a soldier wore a red band around his head that was called Pa(파). In the Han dynasty(한대), Pa had been transformed into Chaek(책) or a kind of a hemp rap(건) while e headgear had still remained as the band form and called Marek from e Tang era(당). The literatures of the Tang era had referred the red Marek of soldiers, and other literatures of the later period had recorded that of the previous headgears of the band form were related with Marek. Since the Tang era, white or yellow Marek except red one fer soldiers had been were by soldiers, musicians, dancers and singers in Yuan(원) and Ming(명) of China. The colors was recorded in red on documents mostly, this red implicated soldiers for symbol of terror. This fart was documented in an old history book $\ll$The history of 25 Eras(이십오사)$\gg$, On the other side, a wall painting in Princess Jeonghyo(정효공주)'s tomb of the Parhae(발해) period described the portraits of twelve persons, and among them, two Siwui(시위) put on the red Marek. Quoted from the record of a history book of the Tang era system , a history book of Three Kingdoms(삼국시대) of ancient Korea $\ll$Samguksaki(삼국사기)$\gg$ described that four dancers of Kogryo(고구려) wore Marek on their heads with the costumes of Koguryo, one of those Kingdoms. In consideration that the book of $\ll$Tongjun$\gg$ was the literature of the Tang era so that Marek mentioned in this book was followed by their name, the Marek of Koguryo dancers shown in the history book $\ll$Samguksaki(삼국사기)$\gg$ might be a kind of Koguryo style hemp cap[Geon(건)]. The Marek of Parhae had succeeded to the headgear of Koguryo and the identity was on Koguryo.

We studied the effect of thermal annealing and hydrofluoric (HF) acid treatment on the field emission properties of carbon nanotube field emitter arrays (CNT-FEAs) grown with the resist-assisted patterning (RAP) process. After thermal and HF treatment, it was observed that the electron emission properties were remarkably improved. The enhanced electron emission was also found to depend strongly on the sequence of the treatments; the electronemission current density is 656 $mA/cm^2$ with the process of thermal treatment prior to HF treatment while the current density is reduced by 426 $mA/cm^2$ with the reversal processes. This is due to the increased crystalline structure by thermal annealing and then strong fluorine bond was formed by HF treatment.
