Owing to the development of computer technologies, to process data derived from various sensors is recently demanding. It is also increasing to demand the moving object based servies like the services of location based and mobile application services. That's why it is needed the processing of visualizing the services for education aspects. In this paper, we show the implemented results about $R^*$ tree algorithm to insert, delete and search a object in two dimension environment.
Jujube trees infected with phytoplasma exhibit symptoms of typical witches' broom, such as yellowing, abnormally small leaves, short internodes and proliferation of shoots. A 1.2 kb fragment of the 16S rDNA from jujube phytoplasma was generated by R16F2n/R16R2 primer pair from earlier amplified P1/P7 PCR products of cloned jujube witches' broom phytoplasmas. Enzymatic restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and sequence analysis of 16S rDNA revealed that the jujube tree was infected with 16S rDNA I and V groups of phytoplasmas. Extensive comparative analyses of restriction enzyme profiles from Alu I, Hha I, Msp I, and Rsa I clearly classified the two into different phytoplasma groups. The phylogenie analyses based on 16S rDNA showed that the similarity of the two different clones was 87.5%. This is the first report of a mixed phytoplasmal infection in a single jujube tree.
This study was carried out for the analysis and comparison about the noise diminution effects by the height, width and density of Euonymus japonica wall, the distance of sound source, the distance of sound receiver, the height of sound source, and the height of sound receiver. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. After the establishment of tree wall, the volume of noise diminution measured 6.8dB and the effects of noise diminution measured heigher than before by 10.6% and t-value was significant at the 1% level 2. In simple correlation between the effects of noise diminution and variables, the density of tree wall was found as the most significant factor, and the last were found in the order of the distance of sound receiver, the width of tree wall, and the distance of sound source. 3. In partial correlation coefficients the effects of noise diminution and variables, the density of tree wall (r=-0.959) was found as the most significant factor, and the last were found in order of the distance of sound receiver (r=-0.906) and the width of tree wall (r=-0.753). 4. The estimated equation to measure the effects of noise diminution according to variables (the height of tree wall, the width of tree wall, the density of tree wall, the distance of sound source, the distance of sound receiver, the height of sound source, and the height of sound receiver) was $Y=69.520-1.672X_1-1.656X_2-0.066X_3-0.248X_4-3.134X_5-0.222X_6-0.343X_7$, and the coefficient of determination of this estimated equation was highly found as 0.950. 5. In semi-partial correlation coefficient the effects of noise diminution were found in the order of the density of tree wall, the distance of sound receiver, the width of tree wall, and the height of tree wall from the highest to the lowest. Therefore, it was considered that the density of tree wall, the distance of sound receiver, the width of tree wall and the distance of sound source should be controlled effectively to increase the effects of noise diminution by Euonymus japonica wall.

Mobile device, one of typical devices in ubiquitous environment, is received attention owing to portability. In these days, technical researches on a kind of the device are focusing on applications of smart phone. For example, the techniques using geographical position and applied instances such as augmented reality techniques are gradually increasing. That makes data processing important. Mobile application services for users also require various application techniques based on moving objects. In addition, they require the techniques that processed data are needed to be shown in visualization. However, this is reality that it lacks of showing visualization works to improve the understanding of thing what it is. To reduce or solve the problems, in this paper we show the results to implement the R tree based 3 dimension index architecture in visualization. Further, we implemented and present creating objects, showing in 3D for the objects, catching spatial position on a node map through mini map function and improving the understanding of R tree by visualizing.
The choice of an effective indexing method is crucial to guarantee the performance of the spatial join operator which is heavily used in geographical information systems. The $R^*$-tree based method is renowned as one of the most representative indexing methods. In this paper, we propose an efficient spatial join technique based on the DOT(Double Transformation) index, and compare it with the spatial Join technique based on the $R^*$-tree index. The DOT index transforms the MBR of an spatial object into a single numeric value using a space filling curve, and builds the $B^+$-tree from a set of numeric values transformed as such. The DOT index is possible to be employed as a primary index for spatial objects. The proposed spatial join technique exploits the regularities in the moving patterns of space filling curves to divide a query region into a set of maximal sub-regions within which space filling curves traverse without interruption. Such division reduces the number of spatial transformations required to perform the spatial join and thus improves the performance of join processing. The experiments with the data sets of various distributions and sizes revealed that the proposed join technique is up to three times faster than the spatial join method based on the $R^*$-tree index.
Ring width chronologies of blue pine (pinus wallichiana) from two mesic sites, Kanasar(2, 400 m) and Gangotri(3, 000 m), in the western Himalayan region. India were developed to understand tree growth-climate relationship and its applicability in proxy climate studies. The resoponse function analyses of the two chronologies show that the site conditions play an important role in modulating the effect of climatic variables on tree growth. Winter temperature, prior to the growth year, has been found to play positive influence on blue pine growth at both sites. Summer temperature also has very similar response except for June and August. June temperature has negative influence at the lower in contrary to at the higher site. Low August temperature favors tree growth to precipitation has been found to vary which could be due to different precipitation regime at the two sites. Winter precipitation is important for tree growth at the higher, whereas summer at the lower sits. The present study suggests that the tree ring materials of blue pine from the temperate Himalayan regions could be used to develop chronologies for the reconstruction of seasonal climatic variables.
A sensor network consists of a network of sensors that can perform computation and also communicate with each other through wireless communication. Some important characteristics of sensor networks are that the network should be self administered and the power efficiency should be greatly considered due to the fact that it uses battery power. In sensor networks, when large amounts of various stream data is produced and multiple queries need to be processed simultaneously, the power efficiency should be maximized. This work proposes a technique to create an index on multiple monitoring queries so that the multi-query processing performance could be increased and the memory and power could be efficiently used. The proposed SMILE tree modifies and combines the ideas of spatial indexing techniques such as k-d trees and R+-trees. The k-d tree can divide the dimensions at each level, while the R+-tree improves the R-tree by dividing the space into a hierarchical manner and reduces the overlapping areas. By applying the SMILE tree on multiple queries and using it on stream data in sensor networks, the response time for finding an indexed query takes in some cases 50% of the time taken for a linear search to find the query.
This study was carried out to examine the effect of soil amendment treatments [(organic fertilizer: 20 kg $tree^{-1}$; compound fertilizer+wood-char fertilizer: compound fertilizer 4 kg $tree^{-1}$+wood-char 2 kg $tree^{-1}$; lime fertilizer: 3 kg $tree^{-1}$; mixed fertilizer: compound fertilizer 1 kg $tree^{-1}$+organic fertilizer 10 kg $tree^{-1}$+wood-char 1 kg $tree^{-1}$; control (no fertilizer)] on flowering and fruit characteristics in chestnut (Castanea crenata S. et Z.) orchards in Jinju and Sancheong, Gyeongsangnam-do. Diameter of fruiting shoot increased generally after soil amendment treatments compared with the control, while number of leaf, female and male flowers were not affected by the treatments. Nut weight increased after soil amendment treatments in Jinju, but was not affected by the treatments in Sancheong. There was a positive correlation between soil pH (r=0.91) or exchangeable $Ca^{2+}$ (r=0.99) and nut weight in Jinju and a positive correlation (r=0.97) between organic carbon content and soluble solid concentration, while a negative correlation (r=-0.92) between exchangeable $Mg^{2+}$ and soluble solid concentration of nuts in Jinju. However, the nut weight and soluble solid concentration in Sancheong were not correlated with soil properties. The results indicate that the characteristics of flowering and nuts in chestnut orchards depend on soil properties after soil amendment treatments between regions which show better responses on poor sites than on good sites.
Recently efforts to extract information about forests by using remote sensing techniques for efficient forest management have progressed actively. In terms of extraction of tree information using single remote sensing data, however, the accuracy of tree recognition and the quantity of extracted information is limited. The objective of this study is to carry out tree modeling in domestic environment applying the latest core technique for tree modeling using color aerial photographs and LiDAR data and to estimate the result of tree modeling. A small-scale coniferous forest was investigated in Daejeon. It was 0.77 that the $R^2$ of accuracy test of tree numbers that estimated with color aerial photography and LiDAR data. In terms of tree height, there was no difference between the estimated value and the field measurements in the case of the group accuracy test of the recently unchanged area. Moreover $R^2$ was 0.83 in the case of the individual accuracy test.
