Effects of Location Based Coupon Through Smart Phone (스마트폰을 이용한 위치기반 쿠폰광고의 효과)

  • In this research, we analyze the effects of price discounts and scarcity message (both quantity limitation message and time limitation message) on the purchase intention in the smart-phone environment. The purchase intention becomes higher at high discount rate and with scarcity message (both quantity limitation message and time limitation message). We also analyze the moderating effects of consumer's shopping value and distance between the consumer and the store on the effects of price discounts and scarcity message (both quantity limitation message and time limitation message) on the purchase intention. On average, the effects of price discount, time limitation message and quantity limitation message on the purchase intention become the highest levels for consumers pursuing hedonic shopping value. The effects of price discount, time limitation message and quantity limitation message on the purchase intention become higher when they are offered within a short distance between the coupon provider and the target customer.

A Control Strategy of Fuel Injection Quantity and Common-rail Pressure to Reduce Particulate Matter Emissions in a Transient State of Diesel Engines (승용디젤엔진의 과도구간 입자상물질 저감 및 운전성능 향상을 위한 연료분사량 및 커먼레일압력 제어전략)

  • This study proposes a control strategy of the common rail pressure with a fuel injection limitation algorithm to reduce particulate matter (PM) emissions under transient states. The proposed control strategy consists of two parts: injection quantity limitation and rail pressure adaptation. The injection limitation algorithm determines the maximum allowable fuel injection quantity to avoid rich combustion under transient states. The fuel injection quantity is limited by predicting the burned gas rate after combustion; however, the reduced injection quantity leads to deterioration of engine torque. The common rail pressure adaptation strategy is designed to compensate for the reduced engine torque. An increase of the rail pressure under transient states contributes to enhancement of the engine torque as well as reduction of PM emissions by promoting atomization of the injected fuel. The proposed control strategy is validated through engine experiments. The rail pressure adaptation reduced the PM emission by 5-10% and enhanced the engine torque up to 2.5%.

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the factors affecting the heat transfer limitations of screen mesh heat pipe for electronic cooling by theoretical analysis. Diameter of pipe was 6 mm, and mesh numbers are 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 and water was selected as a working fluid. According to the change of mesh number, wick layer, inclination and saturation temperature, capillary pressure, pumping pressure, liquid friction coefficient in wick, vapor friction coefficient, capillary limitation, entrainment limitation, sonic limitation and boiling limitation we analyzed by theoretical design method of a heat pipe. As some results, the capillary limitation in small diameter of heat pipe is largely affected by mesh number and wick layer.

The Educational Significance of the Method of Teaching Natural and Fractional Numbers by Measurement of Quantity (양의 측정을 통한 자연수와 분수 지도의 교수학적 의의)

  • In our present elementary mathematics curriculum, natural numbers are taught by using the a method of one-to-one correspondence or counting operation which are not related to measurement, and fractional numbers are taught by using a method which is partially related to measurement. The most serious limitation of these teaching methods is that natural numbers and fractional numbers are separated. To overcome this limitation, Dewey and Davydov insisted that the natural number and the fractional number should be taught by measurement of quantity. In this article, we suggested a method of teaching the natural number and the fractional number by measurement of quantity based on the claims of Dewey and Davydov, and compare it with our current method. In conclusion, we drew some educational implications of teaching the natural number and the fractional number by measurement of quantity as follows. First, the concepts of the natural number and the fractional number evolve from measurement of quantity. Second, the process of transition from the natural number to the fractional number became to continuous. Third, the natural number, the fractional number, and their lower categories are closely related.

  • It is known that to automate the quantity take-off process enables you to increase the productivity best among the construction business field. However, the limitation of 2D(Two-dimension) CAD System prevented a cost-estimating system which makes the great effects on the quantity take-off process from being developed. This study aims that you can automate both the itemized statements and the quantity take-off process by using commercially available object-oriented CAD system. The commercially available CAD system today does not give us entire satisfaction. This study shows the deduction of the old boundaries of the object-oriented CAD system and the solution of those problems. And it also studied about the quantity take-off process and the automated cost-estimating system that can be used in the simple and plain repair-maintenance work such as the execution drawing which doesn't need the complicated drawings.

  • In this paper, partially repairable concurrent spare parts requirement determination problem of newly procured equipment systems is considered. “partially repairable” means that a portion of damaged parts can be recover their function and reused after repairs. A mathematical model is derived for making an CSP requirement determination subject to the constraint of satisfying any given operational availability limitation. We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process and the repair time has an exponential distribution. Using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, the solution procedure is derived.

  • In this paper we consider the CSP requirements determination problem of new equipment system. The CSP we deal with in the paper are restricted to the demand-based spare parts. For the newly procured equipment systems, mathematical analyses are made for the system which is constructed with the repairable items to derive the associated CSP requirement determination model in mathematical expression, respectively. Based on these analyses, a mathematical model is derived for making an optimal CSP requirement determination subject to the constraint of satisfying any given funds limitation. We assume that the failure of a part follows a Poisson process. Firstly, the operational availability concept in CSP is defined and the relation between the general system availability and the operational availability is established. Secondly, the problem is formulated as the operational availability maximization problem that should satisfy the funds limitation, and then, using the generalized Lagrange multipliers method, the optimal solution procedure is derived.

  • Location-based services have distinctive service characteristics compared to the past online commerce used on the desktop. In any place, mobile communication devices can be used to access online and utilize online shopping, and it is more convenient for users. In addition, by providing shopping and service information specific to each location, it is possible to provide convenience to the consumers according to their locations. In addition, it provides scarcity of information as well as location, thereby increasing consumers' desire to purchase. In this study, we investigated the effect of scarcity on the Purchase intention of consumers in location-based services. The steps of scarcity are: first, a step without scarcity, Second, providing time limit information, Third, providing quantity limitation information, Fourth, the experiment was designed to provide time and quantity limitation, and 4 groups were analyzed through experimental stimuli The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of the dependent variable on the degree of scarcity by adding 'ubiquity', 'interactivity' and 'privacy' which are characteristics of location-based service. As a result of the analysis, scarcity of time and scarcity of quantity limitation scarcity stimuli showed a moderating effect on ubiquity, interactivity and consumer's purchase intention, and these variables also directly or indirectly affected positively. Consumer confidence was found to have a negative effect on consumers' purchase intentions.
