  • This paper is a study on standard testing method for type approval of DSC which is the main structure of the terrestrial communication. As authority inspecting offices and producers have no experience for type approval of relative equipments as adapting GMDSS. In this paper, it is to be improved the understanding for type approval ; a system, standard of technic and testing methods, etc and make better quality of relative equipments. Additionally it could help quality and quantity improvement in all radiocommunication parts. Of course, the regulation for type approval had made but most makers didn't know it correctly, so the method of solution have been studied. By result of this study, with comparision and analysis of structure and a condition of efficiency with adapting GMDSS is could help some problems slove in the field and gave testing method of machinery and tools, electrical conditions, came out measurement and did ways standard efficiency.

  • In this paper, various aspects of landfill liners such as guide of liner installation, type of bottom liners and vertical barriers, domestic companies producing and dealing liners, quality assurance and control of liners, are investigated. Although sanitary landfilling of domestic municipal wates has begun at the last decade, we still need to strengthen the regulation for designing and constructing the liner systems and to diversify the types of liners used in the landfills. Technologies of quality control for selecting and installing landfill liners should be improved as soon as possible. In order to develop the technologies and to slove th problems related to landfill liners, more efforts should be taken among the engineers and the agencies who are interested in maintraining safe subsurface environments.

  • This paper presents the operation of Fuel Cell Distributed Generation(FCDG) systems in distribution systems. Hence, modeling, controller design, and simulation study of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell(SOFC) distributed generation(DG) system are investigated. The physical model of the fuel cell stack and dynamic models of power conditioning units are described. Then, suitable control architecture based on fuzzy logic and the neural network for the overall system is presented in order to activate power control and power quality improvement. A MATLAB/Simulink simulation model is developed for the SOFC DG system by combining the individual component models and the controllers designed for the power conditioning units. Simulation results are given to show the overall system performance including active power control and voltage regulation capability of the distribution system.

  • With the advancement of superconductor materials, especially in HTC YBCO(Gen II), the feasibility of SMES in power systems become much higher than previous days application[1]. Also, with the de-regulation of electricity market, it is indispensable to have a proper estimation of power quality index and power quality cost calcluation mechanism to stabilize highly industrialized society and to vitalize the investment for electric power system. This paper suggests a comprehensive algorithm[2] to determine the policy of SMES investment with the PQ Indices[3] based on aggregated load CBEMA curve reflecting the voltage characteristics such as volatge sags and interruptions which make electric load in unstable operation.

Mitophagy and Innate Immunity in Infection

  • Mitochondria have several quality control mechanisms by which they maintain cellular homeostasis and ensure that the molecular machinery is protected from stress. Mitophagy, selective autophagy of mitochondria, promotes mitochondrial quality control by inducing clearance of damaged mitochondria via the autophagic machinery. Accumulating evidence suggests that mitophagy is modulated by various microbial components in an attempt to affect the innate immune response to infection. In addition, mitophagy plays a key role in the regulation of inflammatory signaling, and mitochondrial danger signals such as mitochondrial DNA translocated into the cytosol can lead to exaggerated inflammatory responses. In this review, we present current knowledge on the functional aspects of mitophagy and its crosstalk with innate immune signaling during infection. A deeper understanding of the role of mitophagy could facilitate the development of more effective therapeutic strategies against various infections.

  • 2020년 1월 1일부터 이행되는 연료유의 황 함유량 규제에 따른 대응 현황을 보면, 약 60% 이상의 선사들이 저유황유 사용을 고려하고 있다. 이처럼 높은 저유황유 선택에 따라 저유황유의 안정적인 공급에 대한 사전 검토 및 대비책을 통한 구체적인 방안이 요구되고 있으며, 저유황유의 품질 보증이 무엇보다도 중요한 사안이라 판단된다. 저유황유의 품질에 따라 예상되는 문제점을 미리 파악하고 이에 대한 적절한 대응 방안을 수립하여 선박 기관 운영에 차질이 없도록 대비하여야 한다. 그래서 선박에 공급되는 저유황유의 품질 특성 시 고려사항을 전달하고자 한다.

  • In this study, comparison of the quality standard of chemical admixtures between Korea and China is conducted. It is classified into three types of water reducing agents: standard, delayed, and accelerated according to the sensitivity and strength improvement of the sensitivity and strength of the agent. However, Chinese standards classify reducing agents only as standard, high efficiency, and high performance, and do not add AE agents into water reducing agent. On the other hand, that of Korea has a classification regulation for reducing agents added with AE agents.

  • Between 1980 and 1997 the Korean textile and clothing industry (KTCI) experienced the transformation of export-led accumulation regime rooted in domestically-derived price competitiveness into the combination between foreign mass production involving the geographical extension of productive forces and quality strategy based on upgrading technology and automation involved in the domestic market for high quality and price products. This restructuring of the KTCI is rooted at the crisis in the export-led growth regime implemented unity 1980 due to the rapid increase in wage levels by the ‘great labour movement’occurred in 1987. In particular, increased wage and collective bargaining realized through labour empowerment led to the crisis in the conjoin between mass production and mass export based on long working hours and low wage structure. The aim of this paper is to explore the transformation of development modes between 1980 and 1997 that can help us in understanding the fundamental reasons for the restructuring of the KTCI. To this end, the paper identifiles the changing accumulation regimes between 1980 and 1997 mediated by wage-labour relations, inter-firm relations and state-film relations, which are insitutional forms of the modes of regulation.

  • The purpose of this study is to help the understanding of the housing market through the influence of consumer choice attributes and financial policy on home buyer behavior. The key issue in the analysis is to take into account moderate effect of housing investment demand between different types of housing attribute choice and financial policy. The results of the study are as follows. First, convenience, education location, and neighborhood level have a significant effect on the purchase intention of the housing. Second, government policy have no significant influence on the purchase intention of the house. Third, the moderating effects of real estate investment outlook are that the neighbors level and interaction variables have a statistically significant effect on the purchase intention of the house. Since the government's financial policies do not affect the decision to buy a house, in reality, excessive regulation may reduce the quality of housing welfare for the first time home buyers. As a result of this study, the financial policy of the government does not affect the decision of the purchase of the house. In reality, the excessive regulation may reduce the quality of the housing welfare for the first time home buyer. Only an analysis which combines these aspects of consumer's choice can adequately describe and explain the actual change in demand in the residential market.

  • Because each building is built in different time, there exists different equipment to meet the need for each age. Before the announcement of "Community Management Regulation", the old communities usually suffer the problem of lower requirement and living quality. This may bring some security problem that we should face. In this research, we construct "Building Administration System" to provide users a tool to perform a standard operation procedure in community management. This powerful tool will also help manager to effectively handle important tasks in property administrating by reducing unnecessary documentation. In the current regulation, all community committee members shall be voted each year. This will seriously affect the cumulative of management knowledge and cause a worse efficiency. In this research, we use Object Oriented concept and Visual Modeling techniques to combine with Interbase, ER/Studio, and Delphi to develop this management system for Building Property. Through the help of current computing technology, we can solve the problem that can not be inherited and the storing of the huge amount of data. In this system, we develop the modules such as Basic Data Module, Administrative Expense Calculation, Receipt Print, and Inquiring for Inheritance. In this system, we have integrated all houses, parking lots, and public equipments in it. Manager will only need to handle some basic accounting data; the system will automatically handle the rest. Through the help of this system, the community management staff can be easily accomplished and put more manpower on some needed aspect to improve the living quality.
