  • We develop the evaluation method of functional requirements for excavator design. The functional requirement of the product can be deduced from voice of customer. QFD method is used in order to convert customer requirement to functional requirement. The measure of information index is used to evaluate quantitatively the product quality characteristics. The correlation score between customer requirements and functional requirements and benchmarking score of competitors are basic data for the measure of information.

  • The primary goal of the requirement analysis phase during information system development is to identify and document what is really needed, in a form that clearly communicates to the user and to development team members. Presented in this paper is a QFD(Quality Function Deployment)-based requirement analysis method and procedure for developing a large-scale enterprise information system. For the purpose of elicitation of software functional requirements, this paper adopts the method of HOQ(House Of Quality) and proposes a simplified HOQ which is more suitable for the software requirement analysis. As a result of this paper, it suggests desired functionalities for an integrated design &manufacturing information system.

  • This research attempts to acquire technical performance measure information based on identifying the Critical To Quality(CTQ) parameters of user requirement by using Quality Function Deployment(QFD) methodology in the initial phase of a defense R&D project. This results will contribute to the integration of technical progress to the Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) based project performance tracking. It also improve the bridging of systems engineering activities to the project management and the project decision making process.

  • QFD(Quality Function Deployment) is a very important tool to improve market share by reducing the gap between the voice of customer and the product's performance. But QFD is not a problem solving tool, although it is very useful in identifying what has to be solved or improved in order to meet the customer's desires. TRIZ has proved to be a very strong tool to solve the difficult problems that requires inventive thinking. QFD integrated with TRIZ becomes hot research recently. But merely linking between HOQ(House of Quality) in QFD and the contradiction matrix in TRIZ can not provide designers with a concrete method to solve the technical problem in the design process. Practically, the contradiction matrix and 40 inventive principles are not helpful for solving the technical problem. To solve the technical problem using TRIZ, a search for the tool and the object involved in the problem is made, from which the wanted result should be derived. A practical method to integrate QFD and TRIZ is proposed in this paper.

  • Logistics companies want to be competitive companies in fierce logistics market and are worrying about securing of differentiated competitiveness for it. The standards judging if logistics industry maintains the competitiveness are based on the satisfaction of users due to the well-established service system that can response not only economic feasibility of logistics costs such as transportation costs, storage costs, unloading charges, information costs, etc. but also diversity and upgradability of logistics needs. Therefore, this study focuses on seeking of service quality improvements with VBSD(Value Based Service Design) model focusing on customer value factors based on Kano model and QFD based service design approach from angles of customer value improvement and service costs reduction.

  • 본 연구에서는 주행승차감 및 안정성을 고려한 전동킥보드의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 역공학 기법을 사용하여 주요 시스템의 품질요소, 제품특성 등을 분석하고 사용자 요구사항을 도출하기 위해 품질기능전개(QFD: Quality Function Deployment)방법론을 적용하였으며 그 결과로 사용자 요구사항은 6개의 범주에서 20개를 도출하였으며 품질특성 요구사항은 16개 도출하여 최종 12개를 시스템 품질특성(CTQ: Critical To Quality)으로 선정하였다.

  • 반도체를 제작하는데 있어 Wire bonding 공정은 가장 정밀한 관리와 핵심품질특성(CTQ)을 필요로 한다. 포장과정에 있어서 가장 필수적인 단계로 간주된다. 이 과정에서는 순금 와이어가 칩과 PCB를 연결하기 위해서 사용된다. 금의 가격은 오랜 기간 동안 꾸준히 증가하여왔고, 근래에도 더 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이러한 상황에서, 많은 반도체 제조 회사들은 새로운 종류의 와이어를 개발했다. 합금와이어가 그 중 하나이고 그것에 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 Wire bonding 공정에서의 parameter를 6sigma와 품질기능전개(QFD)를 사용해 최적화시키고자 한다. 6sigma 과정은 그 문제를 해결하는데 뿐만이 아니라 생산성을 향상시키는데 좋은 기법이다. 중요한 요인을 찾기 위해서 고객의 소리에 초점을 두었다. 고객의 소리의 주요 요인들은 CTQ라고 불린다. 본 연구는 CTQ의 목표수준을 설정 한 후 중요인자를 선정하기 위하여 QFD 활동을 하였으며, 최적 조건 설정하기 위해 실험계획법을 이용하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 품질기능전개에서 신제품 개발 시 공정 조건을 최적화 하는 과정을 제시 하여 양산에서 발생될 수 있는 품질 위험요소를 사전에 제거 시킬 수 있게 되었다.

거리 가구 제작을 위한 3D 프린팅 기술 중요도 도출 및 적용 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Importance and Application of 3D Printing Technology for Street Furniture Manufacturing)

  • 본 연구는 3D 프린팅 기술을 활용한 거리 가구 제작 시 기술 특성 중요도를 도출하고 거리 가구 중 비정형 벤치 제작을 통해 우선순위가 높은 3D 프린팅 기술의 적용 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구를 위해 품질기능전개(QFD: Quality Function Deployment) 방식으로 중요도를 분석하여 점수로 계량화하였으며 개발 및 연구에서 우선시 되어야할 기술요소는 '출력 크기', '재료의 수축성', '출력 각도' 순으로 나타났다. 연구결과의 검증을 위해 비정형 거리 가구 디자인을 대형 3D 프린팅 출력물로 제작하였으며 제작 과정에서 우선순위 기술요소들의 적용 방안을 모색하였다. 거리 가구 제작은 기능성과 안정성을 기반으로 설계되어야 하며 경제성, 제작성, 심미성 등이 고려되어야 하므로 '출력 크기'는 파츠의 분할을 최소화시켜 안정성을 확보하였다. '재료의 수축성'은 형태의 오차를 최소화시켜 심미성 및 제작성을 충족시켰으며 마지막으로 '출력 각도'는 출력물의 품질을 향상시켜 다양한 출력 각도를 통해 효율적이고 구조적 안정성이 있는 각도를 선정함으로써 연구결과에 대한 검증과 적용 방안에 대해 제시하였다.

품질기능전개와 신경망 회로를 이용한 사출성형 공정변수의 예측 (Estimation of Process Parameters Using QFD and Neural Networks in Injection Molding)

  • The injection molding process is able to produce high precision manufactures as a single process with fast speed. However, the prices of both the mold and the molding machine are expensive, and the single process is very complex and difficult to compose of the exact relationship between the process setting conditions and the product quality. Therefore, the quality of a molded product often depends on a skillful engineer's operations in the design of both parts and molds. In this paper, the relationship between the process conditions and the defectiveness is built for better manufactures under settings of the appropriate parameters, and so it can reduce the setup time in the injection molding process. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) provides severe defectiveness factors along with the related process parameters. Also, neural networks estimate the relationship between defective factors and process setting parameters, and lead to reduce the defectiveness of molded parts.

AHP와 QFD를 이용한 철도기술 개선에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of Railroad Technology Improvement Using AHP and QFD)

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the needs of customers who use railroads as a mode of transportation and propose customer-oriented improvements in railroad technology by making connections between customer needs and railroad technology. Methods: We primarily used two methods for this study, AHP and QFD. First, AHP was used to evaluate the relative importance among the different components of railroad technology. Second, the QFD was applied to make a link between customer needs and railroad technology. Results: Railroad technology is largely divided into development, maintenance, and support. Empirical results showed the following improvement priorities in development, vehicle, system, line, signal/communication, power, and structure, in maintenance, vehicle, signal/communication, line, process, power, and structure, and in support, safety/precaution, management, environmental energy, operations/logistics, and station. Conclusion: Recognizing limitations in measuring the level of railroad technology when using the existing 'Technology Growth Model,' we used AHP and QFD to explore improvement directions for customer-oriented railroad technology. By offering customer-oriented services based on this study, railroad service providers will be able to acquire competitive advantage in the market.
