Many fashion designers are actively pursuing strategic alliances with other brands. The purpose of this study is to identify the differences in images between the original brands and the alliance brands made by fashion designers. This study also aims to review consumers' purchasing attitudes towards alliance brands products. Questionnaires were distributed to adults in their 20s and above, which were then collected. The research findings illuminated the differences in images between original brand products and the alliance brand products made by fashion designers. It was found that the fashion designer (A) brand mainly had luxurious, attractive and quality images, while its alliance brand mainly had practical and durable images. On the other hand, the fashion designer (B) brand mainly had quality and durable images, while its alliance brand mainly had luxurious, characteristic and attractive images. The fashion designer (Ga) brand mainly had characteristic, sophisticated and quality images, while its alliance brand mainly had trendy, attractive and practical images. The fashion designer (Na) brand mainly had trendy, characteristic and attractive images, while its alliance brand mainly had practical images.
The purpose of this study is to identify the antecedents of repurchase intention toward fast fashion brands. Perceived quality, perceived price, deindividuation, and overly trendy styles, which are product characteristic variables, and fashion innovativeness, which is a consumer characteristic variable, were considered as antecedents. It was hypothesized that product and consumer characteristics influence repurchase intention toward fast fashion brands not only directly, but also indirectly through cognitive dissonance. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul using convenience sampling. Three hundred and fifty-two questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. SPSS was used for exploratory factor analysis, and AMOS was used for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis. The factor analysis of product characteristics revealed four dimensions: "perceived quality", "perceived price", "deindividuation", and "overly trendy styles", and the factor analysis of consumer characteristics revealed one dimension. The factor analysis of cognitive dissonance revealed two dimensions, "regrets" and "perceived uncertainty." The hypothesized path test proved that perceived quality, deindividuation, overly trendy styles, and fashion innovativeness influence repurchase intention directly. Perceived price and deindividuation influence repurchase intention indirectly through the factor of cognitive dissonance, which is the perceived uncertainty, indicating the importance of cognitive dissonance. The results indicate effective marketing strategies should be used to decrease consumers' cognitive dissonance, and suggestions for future study are provided.
Taguchi's parameter design is to determine optimal settings of design parameters of a product or a process such that the characteristics of a product exhibit small variabilities around their target values. His analysis of the problem has focused only on a single characteristic or response, but the quality of most products is seldom defined by a characteristic, and is rather the composite of a great number of characteristics which are often interrelated and nearly always measured in a variety of units. The critical problem in dealing with multiple characteristics is how to compromise the conflicts among the selected levels of the design parameters for each individual characteristic. In this paper, the EXTOPSIS Model using SN ratio which can be optimized by univariate technique is proposed and a parameter design procedure to achieve the optimal compromise among several different response variables is developed. Two existing case studies are solved by the proposed method and the results are compared with ones by the sum of SN ratios, the expected weighted loss, and the desirability function.

In this paper shows the Designed active antenna for wireless LAN that is consisted of 5.5GHz band local LNA and Microstrip Patch Antenna. LNA improved noise special quality using NEC company's NE3210S01 and Microstrip Patch Antenna designed to have omnidirectional characteristic. Designed Microstrip Patch Antenna expressed omnidirectional characteristic special quality having gains of about 8.3dBi. LNA gains 15dB, noise index showed special quality under 1 dB.
Consumers require various quality characteristics including safety. The reduction of risk concerned on product safety becomes an urgent issue in leading companies. The strategy for customer satisfaction by choosing attractive quality characteristic is not enough for risk reduction in view of producer. This paper presents a method for choosing quality characteristics and risk characteristics by integrating QFD based on quality requirements and AHP based on safety requirements, also shows its application for complex equipment.
Recently the research about electron transport characteristic and energy distribute function in mixture gases within Helium, has been used and developed widely as industrial quality improvement of extinguish characteristic, electrical dielectric strength ability of application of each species high voltage apparatus, gas plasma etching progress of work to use manufacture of semiconductor, thin film molding by CVD, insulation film to use ultra LSI, etc. This paper analyze electron transport characteristic in the range E/N $1{\sim}60$[Td], pressure $0.1{\sim}6.0$[Torr] by MCS. It is necessary to seek electron drift velocity, diffusion coefficient, lonization coefficients, characteristic energy, mean energy and electron energy distribution function as electron transport characteristic.

Recently, the progress of smart phone market has retarded by oversupply therefore wearable computer has been the focus of new growth engine. Wearable computing system is a complex fusion of a variety of technologies such as wireless network, embedded, sensor and new material. Because these technologies involves utilization and mobility in addition to quality characteristic in existing software, application of ISO/IEC 9126 is not perfect when assessing quality of wearable computer. In this study, author suggested new quality assessment model for wearable computer by sorting quality attribute in ISO/IEC 9126 and adding new quality attribute. For this, author investigated features and functional requirements related to wearable computer. and then author suggested quality standard and metrics by identifying quality characteristic. Author confirmed practicality of quality assessment model by using suggested model in scenario and comparing quality assessment of three goods such as company S, L, G. This quality assessment model is expected to use guidelines for assessing quality of wearable computer.
Traditional acceptance sampling plans have focused on the proportion of nonconforming items as an attribute criterion for quality. In today's modern quality management under high quality production environments, the reduction of the deviation from a target value in a quality characteristic has become the most important purpose. In consequence, various inspection plans for the purpose of reducing the deviation from the target value in the quality characteristic have been investigated. In this case, a concept of the quality loss evaluated by the deviation from the target value has been accepted as the variable evaluation criterion of quality. Further, some quality measures based on the quality loss have been devised; e.g. the process loss and the process capability index. Then, as one of inspection plans based on the quality loss, the rigorous design procedure for the variable sampling plan having desired operating characteristics (VS-OC plan) indexed by the quality loss has been proposed by Yen and Chang in 2009. By the way, since the estimator of the quality loss obeys the non-central chi-square distribution, the rigorous design procedure for the VS-OC plan indexed by the quality loss is complicated. In particular, the rigorous design procedure for the VS-OC plan requires a large number of the repetitive and complicated numerical calculation about the non-central chi-square distribution. On the other hand, an approximate design procedure for the VS-OC plan has been proposed before the proposal of the above rigorous design procedure. The approximate design procedure for the VS-OC plan has been constructed by combining Patnaik approximation relating the non-central chi-square distribution to the central chi-square distribution and Wilson-Hilferty approximation relating the central chi-square distribution to the standard normal distribution. Then, the approximate design procedure has been devised as a convenient procedure without complicated and repetitive numerical calculations. In this study, through some comparisons between the rigorous and approximate design procedures, the applicability of the approximate design procedure has been confirmed.
Due to large demand for high speed and great capacity for data transfer, WDM, which uses the wavelength division multiplexing technique, is known as alternative way to satisfy those demand for its flexible network operation and management, easy network expansion with existing networks, and enhancement of efficient data transfer rate. For these reasons, a new high capacity WDM optical communication network plan was established. Therefore, the quality of currently deployed optical cables with 81.6 km in length should be assessed to ensure if high capacity WDM system could be implemented on existing optical cables. Two important characteristic parameters, Transfer Loss and PMD (Polarization Mode Dispersion), were measured to evaluate quality of existing optical cable. Transfer Loss was measured at 0.244 dB per kilometer, which is lower than the design standard value at 0.275 dB/km. The measured PMD value gave at 0.030ps/km, and it, therefore, satisfies the value recommended by ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union-T) of 0.5ps/km. In addition, the transfer characteristic for existing 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps system were measured and evaluated, and the results showed that error-free transfer is very much feasible. Computer simulation for DWDM system, which is likely be a future backbone network in Korea, to assess the transfer characteristic using the same condition employed for 2.5 Gbps and 10 Gbps was carried out as well. The simulation verified that a stable network operation and reliable service could be provided.
This paper proposes a luminance compensation method using optical sensors to achieve high luminance uniformity of active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays. The proposed method compensates for the non-uniformity of luminance by capturing the luminance of entire pixels and extracting the characteristic parameters. Data modulation using the extracted characteristic parameters is performed to improve luminance uniformity. In addition, memory size is optimized by selecting an optimal bit depth of the extracted characteristic parameters according to the trade-off between the required memory size and luminance uniformity. To verify the proposed compensation method with the optimized memory size, a 40-inch 1920×1080 AMOLED display with a target maximum luminance of 350 cd/m2 is used. The proposed compensation method considering a 4σ range of luminance reduces luminance error from ± 38.64%, ± 36.32%, and ± 43.12% to ± 2.68%, ± 2.64%, and ± 2.76% for red, green, and blue colors, respectively. The optimal bit depth of each characteristic parameter is 6-bit and the total required memory size to achieve high luminance uniformity is 74.6 Mbits.
