Image matching is fundamental process in photogrammetry and computer vision to identify and to measure corresponding features on the multiple images. Uniqueness of the matching entities and robustness of the algorithm are the key issues that have influence on quality of the matching result. The optimal solution could be obtained by utilizing appropriate matching entities in the first place. In this study, candidate matching points were extracted by interest operator, and an area-based matching method was applied with characteristics of the gray value distribution as the matching entities. The characteristic information is based on the concept of "intrinsic image" (or parameter image). The information was utilized as additional and/or complementary matching entities. Matching on interest points with the characteristic information resulted in high quality of matching because matching windows were created with surrounding pixels of the interest points that contain distinct and unique features. The experiment shows that matching quality and reliability increase by exploiting interest operator, and the characteristic information has potential to be matching entity.

We address the problem of choosing the most economic mean value for an automatic filling operation on a production line through the sampling inspection. If quality characteristic of a unit is less than inspection specification then the goods is not accepted. Otherwise, it is accepted. The lots that the numbers of non-conforming units in a sample are larger than the allowable number of non-conforming units are rejected. The non-conforming units in the rejected lots are separated by the screening inspection. The non-conforming units separated are sold in discount price. We assume that quality characteristic is larger-the-better characteristic, the distribution of quality characteristic is normal distribution, and the standard deviation of the distribution is known. This paper presents total expected profit function model considering sales revenue, inspection costs, and material costs. The manufacturing process mean value maximizing total expected profit is determined, and the results of the process target value and total expected profit is analyzed as coefficients change.

These days, getting a gob is emerging as a hot social issue, and specialized sites offering job information are rapidly increasing. On the contrary of quantitative increase, job information sites have lots of problems with respect to satisfying customer's needs. This study is designed to explore web-site service quality factors in job information site, and relationship among characteristic web service quality, customer satisfaction, relationship quality and reuse intention. In this study we found that customer satisfaction is prior to relationship quality, which decide long-term customer relationship. And also, Trust which is one of the relationship quality and customer satisfaction affect customers reuse intent respectively. This study also found that characteristic service quality in related to job information site can be composed of four factors such as delivery of information, customization, web design and interaction. Delivery of information, web design and interaction affect trust, and web design and interaction affect customer satisfaction. And also relationship quality is prior to reuse intention.

The problem of selecting optimal target values for the mean of the quality characteristic of interest for a production process in which an item is sold in one of two market with different profit / cost structures or reworked. Two profit models are constructed which involve four profit / cost components: profit, production, inspection, and rework costs. Assumed that the quality characteristic of interest is normally distributed, methods of finding the most profitable process mean are presented and a numerical example is given.

This paper presents a method for choosing quality characteristics to consider safety by integrating QFD based on quality requirements and AHP based on safety requirements, also shows resources allocation method to maximize customer satisfaction by ranking the index of technical importance to cost.

In resolving industrial quality control problems, a vector of multiple quality characteristic variables is involved rather than a single variable. However, it is not guaranteed that a multivariate control chart based on statistical methods can monitor abnormal signal in case that small changes of relationship between each variables causes abnormal production process. Hence a quality control system for real-time monitoring of the multi-dimensional quality characteristic vector under a multivariate normal process is needed to enhance tile production system quality performance. A pattern analysis approach based on self-organizing map (SOM), an unsupervised learning technique of neural network, is applied to the design of such a quality control system. In this study we present a new material quality control system based on pattern analysis approach and illustrate the effectiveness of proposed system using actual electronic company material data.

So far, the Taguchi Method has dealt with multiple quality characteristics under the assumption that they are independent. Since the relationships between quality characteristics are practically important, this study proposes a new performance measure considering the correlation among characteristics. In this paper, we impose weight on each characteristic and correlation among characteristics. The loss function of multiple characteristics is defined in accordance with combination of simple characteristic types, and it is divided into terms of loss that characteristic itself and the correlation among characteristics cause. And the proposed method uses the expected loss of multiple characteristics as the new performance measure. The data in literature are used to compare with the existing performance measures.

Statistical process control techniques have been greatly implemented in industries for improving product quality and saving production costs. As a primary tool among these techniques, control charts are widely used to detect the occurrence of assignable causes. In most works on the control charts it considered the problem of monitoring the mean and variance, and the quality characteristic of interest is normally distributed. In some situations monitoring of the minimum and maximum values is more important and the quality characteristic of interest is the Weibull distribution rather than a normal distribution. In this paper, we consider the statistical design of minimum and maximum control charts when the distribution of the quality characteristic of interest is Weibull. The proposed minimum and maximum control charts are applied to the wind data. The results of the application show that the proposed method is more effective than traditional methods.

본 연구에서는 서식지 질적 평가에 대한 추진체계를 6단계로 구분하고, 평가 대상지 선정 방법과 서식지 질적 평가 항목을 제시하였다. 서식지 질적 평가 항목은 서식지의 건강성, 안정성, 단절화 및 파편화 정도, 서식지 적합성, 위협 정도 등에 대한 종합적인 평가가 가능하도록 구성되었다. 그러나 현시점에서는 자료부족으로 인하여 서식지 질적 평가 체계가 적용 가능한 멸종위기종이 극히 일부에 해당된다. 서식지 질적 평가 체계는 향후 멸종위기종들에 관한 서식환경자료가 축적되고 이를 기반으로 평가항목들에 대한 정량적 기준 및 가중치가 부여되면 멸종위기종별 주요 서식지에 대한 보전방안 마련에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
