Soil plays a huge role in climate change, because even a tiny loss of 0.1% of carbon emitted into the atmosphere from European soils is the equivalent to the carbon emission of 100million extra cars on Europe's roads - an increase of about half of the existing car fleet. Soils contain around twice the amount of carbon in the atmosphere and three times the amount to be found in vegetation. Europe's soils are an enormous carbon reservoir, containing around 75billion tonnes, and poor management can have serious consequences. Soil degradation is accelerating across the EU, with negative effects on human health, ecosystems and climate change - and on economic prosperity and quality of life. Climate change is identified as a common element in many soil threats. Europe's soils urgently need better protection. The current trend of soil degradation needs to be reversed, and soil management practices must be improved if a high rate of soil carbon sequestration is to be achieved.

In this study, effect of freezing and cryogenic crushing on physico-chemical characteristics of sardine, pollack and sqiud representative for domestic frozen fishery products was investigated and some product using them was tried to be prepared. Dehead and viscerated, washed fishes were subjection to freezing without air circulation and liquid N2 gas at -20$\^{C}$,-40$\^{C}$ and -80$\^{C}$, and then frozen fishes were crushed by hammermill, masscolloider and the product was stored added with anti-freeze such as sorbitol, phosphates, starch and egg Powder, qualify of frozen squid surimi was not changes during 70 days at below -20$\^{C}$ . The results of quality characteristics and sensory evaluation of patties and nugget which made from shattered squid and pollack were similar to commercial products in flavor, color and texture, but sardine meat was inferior to commercial products in flavor and color.

These brief studies and reports of the use of exposed aggrigate precast concrete in practice are combined with a description of some notable co-ordination such as shop drawing, manufacturing and erection in the field construction. Above mentioned exposed aggrigate P. C. means architectural P. C. which was used to the VOTRAKON site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fabricated P. C. on the site without autoclaving and steam curing plant had been successfully carried out on this project-core building, conference room and others. The project designed by HOPE/VTN international INC. which is located in San Diego, California U.S.A. stands for vocational training and related support facilities contract. We had to submit shop drawings showing complete information for fabrication and installation of P. C. unit reinforcement. Also we should be indicated member dimension and cross section, location size and type of necessary for erection. We can delineate the following characteristic results. One of the most important things how to handle exposed aggrigate P.C. unit as specified was quality assurance and co-ordination for shop drawing, manufacturing and erection.

Recently number of reinstrumentation projects in the process plants has grown to meet the needs to modernize or upgrade the exsisting control systems in a bid to boost productivity and quality. Design, installation and start-up of these process automation systems can be successful and trouble-free only if decision points are addressed properly. The critical decision points are encountered from tile design through the start-up phases of implementing a modernization project and discussed extensively here on a practical basis. Key points are ;to assign a project manager out of the plant instrument engineers for him to organize and lead a project team. ;to follow three critical steps in designing and implementing. :to think ahead of the critical steps and to induce a positive cooperation from all level of participants in the effort to prevent possible schedule delays.

These preliminary studies have indicated that this approach in the manufacture and rippening of cheese slurry will be of practical application. The slurry thus prepared seems to have great potentiality in being suitable for incorporation into bakery products and the products thus prepared will have better nutritional qualities and flavour Indications have also been observed that a definite improvement in the quality of flavour may be obtained by employing suitable starter cultures as well as slight modification in the process.

The role of information system(IS) audit is growing more important according to rapid change of Information technology. This article is to introduce what is IS audit, purpose and effect of IS audit. Now most clients of private IS audit services companies are the public sector. Korean public sectors invest a lot of money to build or implement their information system. Most of their systems are developed by system intergration companies. But they do not have professional engineers to evaluate and review outsourced information system. Therefore they must use outside private professional engineers for sysem auditing. We, including writer, established the first IS audit sevice company in Korea on September in 1997. After that about 15 IS audit service companies are established until now. The effect of IS audit is highly evaluated In public sector by the clients Most clients think IS audit service contributed to upgrade the quality of software and standard the methodology of developing system

In order to reduce the obesity incidence, the development of sugarless, low calorie foods and ingredients are required, so normally quality substantially sugarless or fat free food composition comprising a flavoring amount of a low calorie sweeteners such as sugar alcohol, oligosaccharide and natural high sweeteners including stevia, aspartam, sucralose for food processing because of the malady of livelihood habit cause by the obesity. In as much as common sugar is high in calories and its sweetening effect can be obtained with relatively low calorie artificial sweeteners such as stevia, aspartame many products have been offered which are sugar-free, the sweetening effect being obtained with and artificial sweetener.

The industrialized countries have promoted the rehabilitation of existing housing units as a national agenda, such as green policies, whereas korea, although having a housing stock as huge as that of world countries, have focused on the growth of housing by constructing new units rather than rehabilitating existing ones. Today, it has been so long since many multiple dwellings in Seoul and in the vicinity of Seoul were constructed. There were, however, very few political efforts to encourage the rehabilitation of housing. Today, substantial time has passed since multiple dwellings in Seoul and the first-stage new cities such as Bundang and Ilsan were constructed. What is required to maintain the quality of the existing housing and use it with safety is to promote the engineer of maintenance for multiple dwellings to work the maintenance of existing multiple dwellings. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the maintenance qualification system of multiple dwellings of Japan, and then to propose to raise engineers of maintenance for multiple dwellings in korea.
