다중이상원인하의 경제적 품질비용 정책결정 (Determination of Quality Cost Policy under Multiple Assignable Causes)

  • At present, company has to produce a product that consumer like with a competitive price, a good quality, and a fitting time to supply. Process control and quality control are very important to supply with a product uniformly and inexpensively. Process control is given much weight in the quality control in manufacturing system. Statistical process controls(SPC) that are used in process generally have major impact on manufacturing, product design activities, and process development potentially. Control charts in statistical process control method can be interpreted the data from quality characteristics in production process and discriminated between chance variation and assignable variation in process. In addition, control chart can be used to monitor the process output and detect when changes in the inputs are required to bring the process back to an in-control state. The models that relate the influential inputs to process outputs help determine the nature and magnitude of the adjustments required. In this paper, the characteristic of product quality is monitored by control chart during the machining process and construction of quality control cycle is considered to divide into two types in this case that different assignable causes lead to shifts having different magnitudes. Then we are intended to find a process shift magnitude which has economical quality cost policy and are considered to quality cost functions to find a process shift magnitude. Those costs are categorized into the well-known categories of prevention, appraisal, and internal failure and external failure. This paper ends with numerical examples that demonstrate the usefulness of the model.

게임화를 이용한 품질관리 개선방안 (Quality Control Methods using Gamification)

  • As importance of quality control in corporate environments is increasing, new methods for quality control have been suggested by various researchers. Based on gamification theory, this study suggests a new method for quality control. Firstly, this paper defines three problems of quality control that can be easily faced with in corporate environments. Secondly, three gamification methods aiming quality improvement are suggested. Finally, a survey is provided to prove the effect of the suggested gamification methods. Comparing the suggested gamification methods with the existing quality control methods, this study found that the suggested gamification methods could improve the level of quality control.

  • The construction industry consists of various and massive architectural information as an architectural process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation of many disciplines. Particularly, architectural information is generated and managed through the life cycle of a building, from conceptual design stage to the construction and maintenance. A Building Information Model (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle from inception onward. BIM technology accomplished quantitative development being utilized in various disciplines. However, it is necessary to develop environment and requirement for qualitative improvement of BIM based project. Particularly, requirement is very important for architectural design evaluations. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply of quality control check-list for improving the quality of architectural design in BIM environments. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated case study for open BIM data quality control (software, guideline and application case) and classified quality control targets according to physical/logical quality control and data quality. In addition, the authors have defined open BIM based quality control process and developed quality control check-list. Finally, the authors have developed automatic quality check system using requirements for efficient quality control based on open BIM.

  • General criteria for the quality of porous concrete have not been established yet in Korea. And yet, pavement and construction have been performed. In this paper, guidelines on the construction site quality control of porous concrete were developed in order to establish criteria for resolving the issues and problems of porous concrete, to establish methods for improving poor performance, and to manage porous concrete more systematically. In addition, a guide for the construction site quality control of porous concrete, which was appropriate for reality, was developed by researching several quality control guides and maintenance at construction sites. The guide consists of a total of nine chapters such as Application Range, Overview, the Structure of Porous Concrete, the Design of Package Thickness, Package Materials for Porous Concrete, Construction Methods, Quality Assurance and Inspections, Construction Site Quality Control, and Maintenance. It describes quality control guidelines in all steps such as methods for transporting porous concrete from the factory to the construction site, cautions for construction work at construction sites, maintenance, and management. The Guide for the Construction Site Quality Control of Porous Concrete is expected to ensure the quality of porous concrete, to reduce national costs for quality assurance, and to help ensure the health and safety of Korean people.

  • As the competition between countries has become higher and the notion of software quality has been widely spread. it has been necessary to develop technologies that can ensure and produce high quality software. With the advent of information-oriented society. quality control has to transfer to the quality control activities focused on software system instead of those activities focused on hardware system. If so, how do we get to handle the quality control on the basis of the new approach. Also, as software applications have grown. so too has the importance of software quality. In order to manage software quality, the technology to specify and evaluate both the software product quality and development process quality objectively quantitatively is most important. To produce products of good quality, we need a more progressive quality control system according to the need of software development life cycle. In other words, we do software right the first time or build quality in the process. On the basis intermediate and final time or build quality in the process. On the basis of data achieved, we can evaluate the products according to the consequences of the data, What are the problems to contrive the software quality control system?, we con promote the quality of products. To achieved that goal, we con provide a suitable the technique and method of software quality control.

수입한약재 품목 분석을 통한 품질 제고 (Quality Improvement through Monitoring of Imported Medicinal Herbs)

  • Objectives : Quality control for imported medicinal herbs is duty for regulation, however to the best of our knowledge there has been no report regarding quality control of imported ones. Therefore, this study investigated the data of imported ones for monitoring quality issue. Methods : These data are categorized according to item, the amount of import, country, inspection item, suitability, and incongruity reason based on the 248 results performed by KIOM. Results : China is the number one country for import with the value of 73%. Inspected medicinal herbs were 139 species, among them Poria is ranked as top for requested number and the amount of import. The amount of import is similar between high ranking 20 species and low ranking 119 ones, showing high ranking ones are major. The incongruity ratio was 7.7% from the total number of inspected items, the reason for incongruity was excess of tolerable amount of Cd residue. Conclusions : From the data, it is effective way to focus on high ranking herbs for evaluating imported herbs for quality control. The study of mechanism on Cd accumulation and its decrease is essential for environmental matter. And identification and storage for mixed used and easily decomposable herbs are remained for further study. Our study might be small step for showing guideline for proper quality control.

  • A various quality data are produced during nuclear fuel fabrication. In order to control quality data efficiently, Computerization of Quality Information System(QIS) using personal computer was established. Database control software and analysis software were developed for QIS. QIS was applied the fuel manufacturing and quality inspection. Quality trend analysis, process control, process capability and quality history docket for nuclear fuel manufacturing were performed by QIS. Through the Quality Information System, quality assurance, quality control, process control and manufacturing engineering were performed efficiently in nuclear fuel manufacturing.
