  • The purpose of this study is to find the problems, which occurs in the course of the acceptance and the propulsion of the Q. C. circle, the accomodational attitude, and the desirable circumstances for the Q. C. circles, to be of help to settle firmly the "Sae-ma-eul" (New-Community) Movement in the industrial fields, and Q. C. circle and to fix the Q. C. of Korean style through the investigation of the 310 Q. C. circles, which was selected at random from entered circles to the Q. C. Propulsion Headquarters until July, 1977, through the questionaire and interviews.

  • This paper aims to investigate and analyze the process solving problems with activities of Quality Control Circle, carried out on a small scale, among various activities of industrial fields. Then this paper intends to provide and integrated model through integrating each process into one. In addition, this paper also aims to enhance the efficiency of the suggested model by realizing the model through support system.

  • Purpose: This paper reviews the papers on quality innovation issues which are published in the Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management (KSQM) since 1965. The literature review is purposed to survey a variety of quality innovation issues Methods: We divide all of quality innovation issues into 2 categories: quality control circle, quality innovation and improvement Results: Dividing all of papers on quality innovation published in KSQM for 50 years into 2 categories, we provide a chronological roadmap for individual categories, and summarize the contents and contributions of surveyed papers Conclusion: The review paper is expected to provide future direction to improve quality innovation theory and practices in manufacturing and service industries

Apply a Model of CQI to the Hospital

  • The paper aims to apply a model of continuous quality improvement (CQI) to Taiwan provincial Pin Ton hospital. Tools of quality control were used both total quality management (TQM) and quality control circle (QCC) in order to approach the objective of ${\ulcorner}$higher quality, higher efficiency, lower cost${\lrcorner}$. During two years, this hospital has organized thirteen QC circles that were classified three categories according to that objective: four circles work for higher quality; the other four circles work for higher efficiency; five circles for lower cost. After implementation, several results were found from two viewpoints. From viewpoint of tangibility, one of the most outcomes is to reduce labor cost from 56 persons to 28 persons of temporary employees. From viewpoint of intangibility, the result was evaluated using radar chart to compare the difference after improvement. This paper is going to report the process of CQI for the hospital management because it is a new issue in Taiwan since 1997

  • This study can realize customer satisfaction by planning in the advance and progresses event to business relation employee and event host and event participation customer of banquet event and mutually between in preparation checking process understand and I wished to explain that revisit is high. Specially, customer discovered that they are more satisfied to enfilade circle when banquet event preparation, progress recognized higher quality of service by plan. Furthermore, was expose that customer satisfaction for enfilade won improves relation quality because constructs trust about enfilade circle and banquet event, and customer loyalty degree to banquet hall. These study finding is presenting suggestion point of inside marketing that can affect to Saengjone of tissue because enfilade circle satisfaction can influence in customer possession in view of plan checking for enfilade won. Therefore, studied relation that exert effect that customers who use banquet event in this study are some in contents and customer satisfaction of plan, customer revisit that is late.

An Empirical Study on Domestic Small Group Activities of Quality Improvement And Quality Improvement Tools (국내 품질개선 소집단 활동과 품질개선기법에 대한 실증적 연구)

  • In this paper, first of all, the driving performance of QCCs(Quality Control Circles) that are stagnant during 10 years are reviewed. And the usage realities and utilization degree of quality improvement tools in the domestic activities of QCCs are empirically analyzed into size of company and type of business. Thus, this empirical study compares the results of past period in 1997${\sim}$1999 with the results of 6 sigma non-adapting period in 2000${\sim}$2003 through examining the collections of presentation for Korea Quality Control Circle Meetings. Also, according to the introduction of 6 sigma in QCCs activities the difference of utilization degree for quality improvement tools are analyzed to compare the results of 6 sigma non-adapting period in 2000${\sim}$2003 with the results of 6 sigma adapting period in 2004${\sim}$2006. Finally, the utilization degree of 6 sigma tools which follow the driving steps of 6 sigma, DMAIC, are analyzed.

Principles of activation of Quality Control Circle activities in Korea (한국 품질분임조활동의 분석과 활성화 방안)

  • In this paper, we surveyed the literature on QCC(quality control circle) and try to establish principles of activation of QCC activities in Korea. Although QCC activities in Korea, which originated from Japan, have so far made tremendous contributions to our domestic industry, many problems have also been found during the course of a, pp.ication to our industry. In this paper, we have paid much attention to the solution of the problems found during the initial stages and the a, pp.eciation of the achievements of QCC activities until now. We also suggest principles residing in the activities and propose the right direction of our QCC movement. We have made use of many known facts in our analysis and present some of them as evidences of our arguments.
