국내.외 환경교육 논문 분석을 통한 연구 경향 비교 (Comparison of Korean and International Environmental Education Trends through Research Synthesis)

  • To understand the research trend of environmental education(EE) during last two decades, we analyzed a total of 801 research papers published from 1990 to 2008, 418 research papers from "Hwankyungkyouk" and 393 research papers from "The Journal of Environmental Education(JEE)", respectively. The majority of the authors in both journals majored in EE, followed by authors of science education major in "Hwankyungkyouk" and authors of social science major in JEE. In both journals, more researches were data-collected by quantitative method rather than qualitative method. In particular, the ratio of researches by qualitative method have been dramatically increased since the mid 1990s. The significance test was less used in Korean EE researches than those in JEE. In both journals, more EE researches for elementary and secondary school students were accomplished, which tended to be more salient in Korea. The result of the analysis of 119 EE programs in both journals proposed that EE program needs to be developed more diversely in content as well as in educational method.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop indices and a scoring method for effectively evaluating the project of rural well-longevity villages which makes up for insufficient parts of existing projects on improving settlement foundation and production environment. Evaluating indices include qualitative factors originated from the characteristics of the project so a scoring method based on an information measure technique is used for evaluating the results from each village. Evaluating indices are provided differently depending on each purpose for evaluation. Result indices can be used for ranking project villages and fundamental indices can be used to analyze villages elaborately to improve project plans.

A Novel Unweighted Combination Method for Business Failure Prediction Using Soft Set

  • This work introduces a novel unweighted combination method (UCSS) for business failure perdition (BFP). With considering features of BFP in the age of big data, UCSS integrates the quantitative and qualitative analysis by utilizing soft set theory (SS). We adopt the conventional expert system (ES) as the basic qualitative classifier, the logistic regression model (LR) and the support vector machine (SVM) as basic quantitative classifiers. Unlike other traditional combination methods, we employ soft set theory to integrate the results of each basic classifier without weighting. In this way, UCSS inherits the advantages of ES, LR, SVM, and SS. To verify the performance of UCSS, it is applied to real datasets. We adopt ES, LR, SVM, combination models utilizing the equal weight approach (CMEW), neural network algorithm (CMNN), rough set and D-S evidence theory (CMRD), and the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) and SS (CFBSS) as benchmarks. The superior performance of UCSS has been verified by the empirical experiments.

  • The film thickness and shape of elastohydrodynamic lubrication is measured by optical interferometer, which is the most precise method for EHL film measurement. However, the interpretation of the image pattern from optical viscometer is not simple for two-dimensional shape. A newly developed method of image processing makes it possible to evaluate the film thickness and shape in every point of contact region with two dimensional aspects. In this study, we captured the film shape of EHL film by the monochromatic incident light and analyzed the film thickness with the image processing method, which uses phase shift method. 노인요양시설 입소자들의 의료적 요구에 대한 간호직 종사자들의 관리 경험 (Nursing Staffs' Experiences of Managing Medical Needs of the Elderly in Korean Long-term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: This qualitative study was designed to explore and describe the nursing staff reported experiences of managing the medical needs of nursing home residents in South Korea. Methods: Using a focus group interview method, qualitative data were collected from March to May 2012. Twenty five registered nurses and nurse aids working in nursing homes were recruited through a convenient sampling method. Participants participated in one of four focus group interviews lasted up to two hours in which their day-to-day experiences of taking care of the medical needs of the elderly residents. All interviews were recorded and transcribed in verbatim, and analyzed according to the qualitative thematic analysis method using MAXQDA software. Results: The overriding theme was 'experiencing differences between the requirements of the regulatory system and the actual reality of the work place.' The findings of differences between what were true and what is required was based in four subcategories. The nursing home residents had far more medical needs than what were reported. Another finding was that the family members were seen as non-supportive and negligent towards the residents. Conclusion: The findings of the study support the need for changes in the regulatory system. The regulatory limitations of current system with a shortage of resources pushed the participants to experience discrepancies between the required regulation and the reality. Additional research could contribute more exemplars to support changes.

Social Intelligence Counseling Intervention to Reduce Bullying Behaviors Among Thai Lower Secondary School Students: A Mixed-method Study

  • Objectives: To develop and investigate the effectiveness of an integrative counseling intervention for enhancing social intelligence and reducing bullying behaviors among lower secondary school students in Bangkok, Thailand. Methods: An interventional mixed-method design was employed in 2 phases. Phase 1 involved the development of a qualitative method-based integrative counseling program from key informants using the eclecticism technique. In phase 2, a randomized controlled trial with a wait-list control was conducted and qualitative research was performed with students who demonstrated bullying behaviors. Demographic data, Social Intelligence Scale (SIS) scores, and Bullying-Behavior Scale (BBS) scores were collected at baseline. Changes in SIS scores and qualitative findings obtained from in-depth interviews were examined after counseling ended, and BBS scores were collected again 1 month later. Results: The developed social intelligence counseling program included eight 1-hour weekly sessions consisting of 3 components: (1) social awareness, (2) social information processing, and (3) social skills. After receiving this intervention, scores for the SIS overall (p<0.001) and all of its components (p<0.05) were significantly enhanced in the experimental group compared to the control group. Moreover, the mean BBS scores in the experimental group significantly decreased 1 month after counseling (p=0.001). With regard to the qualitative research results, the experimental students demonstrated improvements in all components of social intelligence. Conclusions: The results indicated that a preventive counseling program may enhance social intelligence, decrease bullying behaviors among lower secondary school students, and prevent further incidents of school violence. However, further studies in various population subgroups should also be performed.

HAZOP 기법을 이용한 회분식 라디칼 반응 공정에 대한 정성적 위험성 평가 방법 연구 (Qualitative Hazard Analysis for a Batch Radical Reaction Process using HAZOP Method)

  • 라디칼 회분식 반응 공정을 사용하는 있는 중 소규모 화학공장의 경우, 취급 물질, 작업 내용 및 제품 등의 여러가지 상황 변화에 따른 잠재적인 화재, 폭발 및 안전의 위험성이 상존해 있다. 이러한 화학공장에서 마주치는 잠재적인 위험성에 대하여, 정성적인 위험성 평가 및 분석을 위하여 대표적으로 많이 사용되는 평가 방법인 HAZOP 기법을 이용하여 위험성 평가 연구를 진행하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 피해 크기를 최소화할 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다. 이를 위하여 국내의 중소화학 공장 중, 라디칼 회분식 반응 공정에 의하여 아크릴 수지를 생산하는 중 소규모의 화학공장을 선택하여 현장 설비, 배관 계장도 및 공정에 대하여 HAZOP 기법의 절차에 따라 위험성 평가 및 분석을 진행하였다. 연구의 결과로서, 위험성을 예방하기 위한 구체적인 조치로서는 불활성기체의 투입 및 압력 게이지 설치가 반드시 필요하며, 또한 반응 개시제와 모노머는 따로 분리하고, 폭주반응을 막기 위한 반응억제 물질과 설비를 추가로 설치하는 것이 반드시 필요함을 도출할 수 있었다.

정보검색에서 퍼지 언어 매트릭스에 근거한 효율적인 퍼지 질의 평가 방법 (Effectual Fuzzy Query Evaluation Method based on Fuzzy Linguistic Matrix in Information Retrieval)

  • 본 논문에서는 시소러스에 근거한 새로운 퍼지 정보검색 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서 시소러스는 내부 용어들 간의 관련도를 정성적인 언어 갑으로 갖는 퍼지 언어 매트릭스로 표현되며 용어들간의 관계는 동의, 계층, 그릭 연관이 세 가지 관계가 제공된다 싯러스 내부 용어들 간이 무시된 관련도가 퍼기 이론에 근거한 퍼지이론에 근거한 퍼지 언어 매트릭스의 전이 폐쇄 알고리즘에 의해 추론된다 또한 제안돈 방법은 사용자의 질의, 그리고 문서와 같은 정보 항목의 표현에도 인간이 주관적이고 부정확한 측도를 그대로 반영하는 정성적인 언어 값을 허용한다. 따라서 논문 [1-3]에서 제안된 방법보다 좀 더 유용하다. 또한 질의 평가시 퍼지 언어 매트릭스와 AON(Associated Ordinary Number)값을 이용하기 때문에 논문 [1-3]에서 사용되는 방법보다 시간적으로 효츌적이다. 결과적으로 사용자가 좀 더 유용하고 지능적인 방법으로 질의를 처리할 수있도록 한다

동적 물질세계를 위해 전역적 참조 프레임을 사용한 정성적 공간 표현 및 추론법 QSR-14 (A Method QSR(Qualitative Spatial Representation and Reasoning)-14 Using a Global Reference Frame for a Dynamic Physical World)

  • 사람이 공간에 대한 표현이나 추론을 기술할 때, 정량적 정보 표현과 관련 추론이 어렵거나 불가능 할 때 정성적 표현과 추론을 사용할 수 있다. 2차원 공간에 대한 많이 알려진 정성적 방법 중에 RCC(Region Connection Calculus)-8이 있다. 지역(region)을 공간에 대한 온톨로지 기본 개체로 하는 RCC-8은 위상학적 의미에서 두 개의 지역에 관해 connection 기반의 논리식 및 개념적 이웃과 변환을 나타낸 것으로 각 지역의 이동이나 크기 변화를 전제로 하고 있다. 그러나 현실 세계의 공간 표현과 추론에는 몇 가지 측면들이 더 고려되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 중력장내에서 일어나는 물리적 화학적 작용에 의해 변화하는 동적인 물질세계의 정성적 공간 표현을 위해 RCC-8의 수정 확장된 방법을 제안한다. 2D의 정성적 공간 표현 및 추론에서 전역적 참조 프레임(global reference frame)의 필요성을 기술하고, 전역적 참조 프레임을 사용하여 동적 물질세계의 물리적 화학적 변화를 표현하고 추론하기 위한 QSR-14을 기술한다. QSR-14는 RCC-8에서 불가능한 상황을 표현할 수 있어 실제 세계의 정성적 공간 표현 및 변화에 더 적합하다고 판단된다. 몇 개의 예제를 통해 정성적 표현과 추론에 대한 QSR-14의 유용성을 보인다.

Development and validation of a qualitative GC-MS method for methamphetamine and amphetamine in human urine using aqueous-phase ethyl chloroformate derivatization

  • Methamphetamine (MA) is the most common and available drug of abuse in Korea and its primary metabolite is amphetamine (AP). Detection of AP derivatives, such as MA, AP, phentermine (PT), MDA, MDMA, and MDEA by the use of immunoassay screening is not reliable and accurate due to cross-reactivity and insufficient specificity/sensitivity. Therefore, the analytical process accepted by most urine drug-testing programs employs the two-step method with an initial screening test followed by a more specific confirmatory test if the specimen screens positive. In this study, a gas chromatography-mass spectrometric (GC-MS) method was developed and validated for confirmation of MA and AP in human urine. Urine sample (500 µL) was added with N-isopropylbenzylamine as internal standard and ethyl chloroformate as a derivatization reagent, and then extracted with 200 µL of ethyl acetate. Extracted samples were analysed with GC-MS in the SIM/ Scan mode, which were screened by Cobas c311 analyzer (Roche/Hitachi) to evaluate the efficiency as well as the compatibility of the GC-MS method. Qualitative method validation requirements for selectivity, limit of detection (LOD), precision, accuracy, and specificity/sensitivity were examined. These parameters were estimated on the basis of the most intense and characteristic ions in mass spectra of target compounds. Precision and accuracy were less than 5.2 % (RSD) and ±14.0 % (bias), respectively. The LODs were 3 ng/mL for MA and 1.5 ng/mL for AP. At the screening immunoassay had a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 95.1 % versus GC-MS for confirmatory testing. The applicability of the method was tested by the analysis of spiked urine and abusers' urine samples.
