최근 임베디드 환경에서는 정보 처리를 위한 문자 인식 기술이 많이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 임베디드 환경에서의 문자인식 시스템(Opticai Character Recognition)은 제약적인 자원으로 인하여 플랫폼에 크게 의존하는 문제점을 안고 있어 재사용성을 기대하기 힘들다. 그렇지만 임베디드 환경에서 플랫폼에 독립적인 즉, 재사용이 가능한 모범적인 소프트웨어 아키텍쳐는 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 임베디드 환경에서의 문자 인식 시스템 개발시 플랫폼에 독립적인 즉, 재사용이 가능한 소프트웨어 아키텍쳐를 제안하였다. 또한 제안한 아키텍쳐를 바탕으로 실제 임베디드 환경(WIPI, Qt)에 문자인식 시스템에 적용시켜보았으며, 더 이상 플랫폼에 의존적이지 않음을 확인 해 볼 수 있다.

Electrocardiograms in rats fed diets with boiled eggs for 30 days was investigated. Amplitudes of P,Q and R waves were not significant differences among treatment groups. Amplitude of S wave in rats fed the diet with 95% boiled eggs was significantly tended to be increased compared with other groups(P<0.05). Amplitude of T wave in the rats fed the diet with 0% boiled eggs showed the highest values, and there were significant difference among treatment groups fed diets with 0% boiled eggs, 25% and 95% boiled eggs (P<0.05). Durations of P and PQ(PR) waves were high in the rats fed diets with 25% and 50% boiled eggs (P<0.05). Duration of QRS complex showed low in the rats fed diet 0% boiled eggs but not significant difference among treatment groups. Duration of QT was high in the rats fed diet with 0% boiled eggs(P<0.05). This result is assumed that electrocardiograms in the rats is not changed to intake the boiled eggs.

In the present study a 3D data visualization and analysis program with stereoscopic viewing is introduced. The GUI of the program is based on Qt-library, while all the graphic rendering is performed with OpenGL library. The program allocates memory dynamically according to the data size so that the problem size is only limited by the computer's hardware memory. The stereoscopic viewing is realized by carefully-calibrated projection and color-masking of red and blue color for the left and right eye, and the only hardware needed for the stereoscopic visualization of 3D data is a cheap and easily-available red/blue glasses. Further work for addition of more functions and options to the present program will be continued.

The starting processes of the Ludwieg tube hypersonic quiet tunnel plays very important role in the achievement of the quiet flow in the test section, which could affect the confidence coefficient of the data in the hypersonic transition experimental investigations. Thus, numerical analysis on that processes could help to understanding the running mode of the Ludwieg tube quiet tunnel and the propagation principle of the expansion wave series. To verify our computational method, the same parameter of the BAM6QT (the Boeing/AFOSR Mach-6 quiet tunnel at Purdue University) is used to compute, and it is agrees with our computational results.

Rapid development of high-micro device design and wireless mobile communication technique enables each information instrument and devices to form intelligent network. The discussion of ubiquitous computing that provide information when and where desired is advanced actively. Information collected through ubiquitous sensor network assists it will be able to provide a convenient and accurate service. In this paper, we design and implement system which shows in realtime through TFT/LCD display device sensing data transmitted in embedded system instead of host pc.

본 논문은 ARM7TDMI 칩을 사용하여 전광판 시스템을 설계하고 자체적인 한글 입출력 처리가 가능하도록 하였다. 그리고 사용자가 원하는 표출문구의 입력, 편집을 쉽고 편리하게 할 수 있는 여러가지 형태의 입력방법에 대해 연구하였다. 기본적으로 PC에 의한 유/무선 문구입력과 PDA에 의한 유무선 문구입력이 가능하게 하였다. 또한 LINUX OS가 포팅 된 PXA255프로세서 기반의 임베디드 보드에서 Graphic Library인 QT/Embedded 2.3.7을 터치패널사용이 가능하도록 포팅 하여 원격지의 전광판에 문구를 이더넷 통신방법에 의해 쉽게 바꿀 수 있게 하였으며 인터넷상에 링크되어있는 유용한 정보를 전광판에서 실시간적으로 볼 수 있도록 하였다.

Experimental hypocalcemia was induced in normal goats by intravenous infusion with various concentration of $Na_2$-EDTA solution. 1. Progressive depression of reflexes and body temperature, paresis, and cardiac arrest were observed in two groups infused with 4% and 8% EDTA solution, whereas paresis and cardiac arrest were not observed in 3% EDTA group. 2. The patterns of electrocardiogram were changed according to the decrease of plasma Ca level in all of 7 goats. When plasma Ca decreased to 6mg per 100ml or below, sinus bradycardia or tachycardia and prolongation of QT interval were showed, while atrioventricular block was noted in case which the plasma Ca level decreased to 4mg per 100ml or below. Fibrillation and cardiac arrest were evident in case which the plasma Ca level decreased to as low as 3mg per 100ml.

x86기반 임베디드 리눅스 시스템의 저장장치로 단일-칩 플래시 디스크인 DOC(DiskOnChip) 시스템이 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 DOC 스스로 부팅하도록 부팅이미지, 커널이미지, 루트파일시스템을 설치하는 과정을 설명한다. DOC는 자체 기능으로 에러탐색 및 수정기능과 파일시스템으로 TrueFFS가 인터페이스로 동작한다. 또한, 구성된 DOC 저장 시스템에 GUI 구현할 수 있도록 Qt-E 계층을 추가하여 시스템 개발자는 단지 어플리케이션을 설치함으로써 쉽게 임베디드시스템을 구성할 수 있다.

Cases of drug-induced QT prolongation and sudden cardiac deaths resulted in market withdrawal of many drugs and world-wide regulatory changes through accepting the ICH guidelines E14 and S7B. However, because the guidelines were not comprehensive enough to cover the electrophysiological changes by drug-induced cardiac ion channel blocking, CiPA was initiated by experts in governments and academia in the USA, Europe, and Japan in 2013. Five years have passed since the launch of the CiPA initiative that aimed to improve the current ICH guidelines. This report reviews the current achievements of the CiPA initiative and explores unresolved issues.

Glyphosate herbicides, which are widely used worldwide, are known to have low toxicity. However, excessive intake may cause serious life-threatening complications; therefore, caution is needed when using them. A 51-year-old man visited the hospital after ingesting glyphosate herbicide. At the time of admission, his vital signs were 80/60 mmHg-115/min-20/min-$37.3^{\circ}C$. Electrocardiogram (ECG) showed QRS widening and corrected QT (QTc) prolongation, and blood tests showed metabolic acidosis. Treatment with gastric lavage, activated charcoal, sodium bicarbonate and intravenous lipid emulsion therapy was performed. After 2 hours, his blood pressure increased to 130/90 mg, and no QRS widening was observed on ECG.
