우리나라의 도열병 균계에 내구저항성을 보이는 자포니카 벼 품종 팔공의 저항성 유전좌위를 분석한 결과, 팔공 allele에 의한 저항성 관련 putative QTLs가 2번, 4번, 7번, 11번 염색체상에서 9개 좌위들이 확인되었다. 팔공의 allele에 의한 도열병 저항성 연관 유전자좌들 중 qBn2.3 (Ch r. 2), qBn4.2 (Ch r. 4), qBn11.1 및 qBn11.2 (Ch r. 11) 등 4개 좌위는 표현형 변이의 28-56.7%를 설명하는 major QTL이었고, 이들 좌위에서는 1-4개의 저항성 관련 유전자들이 위치하는 것으로 보고되었다. 팔공 allele의 5개 QTLs qBn2.1, qBn2.4 (Ch r. 2), qBn4.1 (Chr. 4), qBn7.1 및 qBn7.2 (Ch r. 7) 등은 표현형 변이를 9.7-18.8% 설명하였으며, 이들 좌위들 중 2번 염색체상의 qBn2.1를 제외한 4개 QTLs 좌위에서는 다른 유전자의 보고가 없어 팔공 고유의 도열병 저항성 관련 유전 요소들로 추정 된다. 팔공의 도열병 내구 저항성은 2번, 4번, 7번, 11번 염색체상의 9개 QTLs들의 상호 작용에 의한 것으로 생각되며, 특히 목도열병 내구 저항성 유전자 Pb1이 위치하는 것으로 보고된 좌위의 qBn11.2는 표현형 변이 56.7%를 설명하였고 내구저항성에서 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 생각된다. 팔공의 줄무늬잎마름병 저항성은 qBn11.2 좌위의 Stvb-i 유전자에 의한 것으로 생각된다.

Aging is associated with decreased energy expenditure, thermogenesis and energy requirements. Maintenance of physical fitness of the elderly has been reported to reduce the rate at which the basal metabolic rate, muscle strength, skeletal muscle mass and bone density deteriorate. Skeletal muscle disease is known to increase the risk of physical disability and psychological problems. This study was conducted to investigate changes in disability, emotional problems, body compositions, obesity indices and nutrient intake levels according to physical fitness with the elderly in rural areas. According to the results, physical fitness was negatively related with Activities of Daily Living(ADL, p<0.05), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living(IADL, p<0.001), Body Mass Index(BMI, p<0.001) and abdominal obesity(p<0.05), while it showed a positive correlation with the General Self Efficacy Scale(GSES)(p<0.001) and nutrient intake(p<0.05). When changes in these factors were compared according to the range of quartile of the Fullerton Advanced Balance Scale(FAB Scale), GSES(Q1=35.3, Q2=43.5, Q3=53.2, Q4=51.9, p<0.001), BMI(Q1=36.1%, Q2=34.7%, Q3=33.2%, Q4=28.6%, p<0.01), abdominal obesity(Q1=1.02, Q2=0.99, Q3=0.97, Q4=0.94, p<0.001) and nutrient intake(Q1=71.1%, Q2=75.4%, Q3=80.6%, Q4=80.2%, p<0.05) differed significantly. Taken together, these results suggested that better physical fitness would lead to a reduction in negative factors including physical disability and obesity indices, but to an increase in positive factors such as GSES and nutrient intake. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of programs to promote the health of the elderly in a local society.

In this paper we wish to establish some basic properties of entire functions represented by a vector valued Dirichlet series on the basis of (p, q)-th relative Ritt order, (p, q)-th relative Ritt type and (p, q)-th relative Ritt weak type where p and q are integers such that $p{\geq}0$ and $q{\geq}0$.

The notion of vague $q$-ideals of BCI-algebras is introduced, and several properties of them are investigated. Relations between a vague ideal and a vague $q$-ideal are discussed. Characterizations of a vague $q$-ideal are considered.

광 이량화 특성을 나타내는 1-methyl-4-[2-(4-diethylacetylphenyl)ethenyl] pridinium methosulfate(SbQ-A염)를 dimethyl sulfate, terephthalaldehyde mono-(diethyl acetal) 및 4-picoline을 이용하여 합성하였다. 합성된 SbQ-A염을 PVA와 반응시켜 동일(MW=77,000-79,000g/mol) 분자량을 가진 PVA내 SbQ의 함량이 다른 PVA-SbQ-H 시료 및 SbQ의 함량은 약 1.3mol%로 같으나 PVA의 분자량이 다른 PVA-SbQ-L들을 합성하였다. Gray scale(GS)법을 이용하여 측정된 PVA-SbQ 수용성 감광성 고분자의 상대감도는 PVA내 SbQ의 함량이 증가함에 따라 증가하였으며, PVA의 분자량이 낮아질수록 감소하였다. PVA-SbQ-H의 경우 SbQ 함량이 2.63mol%인 시료는 PVA에 ammonium dichromate가 혼합된 기존시료보다 90배 증가된 감도를 나타내었다. PVA-SbQ를 사용하여 형광체 슬러리를 제조하고 사진식각공정을 거쳐 형광체의 미세패턴을 형성하였다. 형광체 슬러리 제조시 양이온 계면활성제인 cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride를 첨가제로 사용하면 형광면의 해상도가 증가됨을 알았다.

양산단층이 지나는 한국 남동지방 지각의 Q$_P^{-1}$ 및 Q$_S^{-1}$를 한국자원연구소가 설치한 9점의 지진관측소 자료를 바탕으로 확장 Coda 규격화법을 이용하여 구하였다 1994년 12월부터 2000년 2월에 일어난 근지지진에서 707개 지진기록에 대하여 1${\sim}$2, 2${\sim}$4, 4${\sim}$8, 8${\sim}$16및 16${\sim}$32Hz의 대역필터를 적용하여 분석한 결과, 각 관측점의 Q$_P^{-1}$는 (7${\pm}$2)${\times}$10$^{-3}$에서 (5${\pm}$4)${\times}$10$^{-4}$으로, Q$_S^{-1}$는 5${\pm}$4)${\times}$10$^{-4}$에서 (5${\pm}$2)${\times}$10$^{-4}$로 주파수가 1.5Hz에서 24Hz로 늘어남에 따라 줄어드는 주파수 의존성이 보인다. 이들 값의 지수 회귀선은 Q$_P^{-1}$가 0.009(${\pm}$0.003)f$^{-1.05({\pm}0.14)$, Q$_S^{-1}$가 0.004(${\pm}$0.001)f$^{-0.75({\pm}0.14)$)이다.

Let a, b, q be integers with q > 0. The homogeneous Dedekind sum is dened by $$\Large S(a,b,q)={\sum_{r=1}^{q}}\(\({\frac{ar}{q}}\)\)\(\({\frac{br}{q}}\)\)$$, where $$\Large ((x))=\{x-[x]-{\frac{1}{2}},\text{ if x is not an integer},\\0,\hspace{75}\text{ if x is an integer.}$$ In this paper we study the mean value of S(a, b, q) by using mean value theorems of Dirichlet L-functions, and give some asymptotic formula.

In this paper, we propose a 4-step inference method needed for constructing a natural language communication system. The method is used to obtain fuzzy quantifier Q′when QA is Fisr τ⇔ Q′(m′A) is mF is m"is τ is inferred (Q, Q′: quantifiers, A: fuzzy subject, m′, m": modifiers, y: fuzzy predicate, τ: truth qualifier). We show that Q′is resolved step by step for two types of Q, including a non-increasing type (few,...) and a non-decreasing type(most,...).

Given a pair p, q of relative prime positive integers, we have uniquely determined positive integers x, y, u and v such that vx-uy = 1, p = x + y and q = u + v. Using this property, we show that$${\sum\limits_{1{\leq}i{\leq}x,1{\leq}j{\leq}v}}\;{t^{(i-1)q+(j-1)p}\;-\;{\sum\limits_{1{\leq}k{\leq}y,1{\leq}l{\leq}u}}\;t^{1+(k-1)q+(l-1)p}$$ is the Alexander polynomial ${\Delta}_{p,q}(t)$ of a torus knot t(p, q). Hence the number $N_{p,q}$ of non-zero terms of ${\Delta}_{p,q}(t)$ is equal to vx + uy = 2vx - 1. Owing to well known results in knot Floer homology theory, our expanding formula of the Alexander polynomial of a torus knot provides a method of algorithmically determining the total rank of its knot Floer homology or equivalently the complexity of its (1,1)-diagram. In particular we prove (see Corollary 2.8); Let q be a positive integer> 1 and let k be a positive integer. Consequently we confirm that the complexities of (1,1)-diagrams of torus knots of type t(kq + 2, q) and t(kq + q - 2, q) in [5] agree with $N_{kq+2,q}$ and $N_{kq+q-2,q}$ respectively.
