  • Presented increase and so on of switch stress and switching dissipation and EMI that is happened in general PWM converter and in this study to solve problem the resonance energy return to life rate and new active snubber PWM converter because do maximization. Active snubber PWM converter that try adds auxiliary switch and resonance capacitor, diode to existing converter under all switching conditions turn on/off Minimised switching dissipation that occur. Reduced harmonic components absorbing station recovery electric current that happen to snubber diode inserting diode and resistance. And decreased peak current that is happened in auxiliary switch arranging resonance capacitor and inductor properly, Certified effect that efficiency rises about 2.5[%] more than existent PWM converter in rated load through an experiment.

  • In this paper, a novel on-line dc capacitance estimation method for the three-phase PWM converter is proposed. At no load, input current at a low frequency is injected, which causes dc voltage ripple. With the at voltage and current ripple components of the dc side, the capacitance can be calculated. Experimental result shows that the estimation error is less than 2%.

  • DC/DC switching power converters produce DC output voltages from different stable DC input sources regulated by a bi-polar transistor. The converters can be used in regenerative braking of DC motors to return energy back in the supply, resulting in energy savings for the systems containing frequent stops. The voltage mode DC/DC converter is composed of a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controller, a MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor), an inductor, and capacitors, etc. PWM is applied to control and regulate the total output voltage. It is shown that the output of DC/DC converter depends on the variation of threshold voltage at MOSFET and the variation of pulse width. In the PWM operation, the missing pulses, the changes in pulse width, and a change in the period of the output waveform are studied by SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) and experiments.

  • 본 논문에서는 PWM 승압형 컨버터/인버터를 사용한 교류전동기 구동시스템에서 커먼 모드 전압의 크기를 dc 버스 전압 1/3이하로 제한시키는 새로운 공간전압벡터 PWM 기법을 제안한다. Dc 버스 전압의 2/3에 해당하는 커먼 모드 전압 펄스가 발생하는 경우에 대하여 고찰하고 각각의 경우에 대한 인버터 스위칭 시점의 이동을 통한 제거 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 부가의 하드웨어를 요구하지 않고 소프트웨어적으로 손쉽게 구현될 수 있으며, 전력변환기의 제어성능에 영향을 미치지 않는다는 장점을 가진다.

  • In this paper a digital-control algorithm of a power system suing a high-speed PWM for a MRI system is proposed. The MRI system requires an elaborate ladder-shaped current source. And the load of current source is the inductance with resistance. For the inductive load a voltage output of the power system has hi호 frequency components. Therefore this system requires high-speed PWM above 80KHz, A high speed PWM control algorithm which satisfies those conditions is designed. Finally the performance of proposed control algorithm is shown by simulation.

  • 본 논문에서는 매트릭스 컨버터의 두가지 전압 변조 방법을 직관적이고 직접적인 그래픽적 접근을 통해 비교 분석한다. 전압 변조에 있어서 옵셋전압 PWM방법은 캐리어비교를 기본으로 하여 옵셋전압을 더함으로써 전압 변조를 하고, $V_{max}-V_{mid}$ PWM 방법은 샘플링 주기내에서 한상을 고정시키고 나머지 두 상을 온-오프 하는 방식으로 전압 변조를 한다. 이 과정에서 중요한 두가지 특징이 전류 리플과 스위칭 손실이고, 전류 리플과 관련해서 각변조 방법의 고조파 전압을 그래프로 그려 분석한다.먼저 출력지령전압 벡터와 각 스위칭 영역별 벡터간의 차에 의한 고조파 성분을 스위칭 한주기내에서 벡터도를 그리고, 그 다음으로 출력전압 위상각과 전압 변조율을 달리 하여 각각의 고조파 전압 그래프를 그려 비교 분석해 보았다.

  • The micro electronic control technology with developing microcomputers make great contribution to electrohydraulic control systems. The electrohydraulic pulse control simplifies in conjunction with power electronic amplifier and high speed operated solenoid valves. It is necessary to valves to convert electronic pulse signal to hydraulic pulse flow as fast as possible. This study deals with the speed control of an oil hydraulic motor operated by two way high speed solenoid valves. The valves acts as converters of electronic-pulse signals to hydraulic power. By constructing systems in which a hydraulic motor is operated by two solenoid valves, the pulse with modulation method (PWM) has adopted as the speed control of hydraulic motor systems. The static and dynamic characteristics of the systems are investigated by the experiment. It is clarify that a hydraulic motor operated PWM show good performance as a control component, achieving accurate velocity control.

  • In this paper, a novel control scheme of three-phase PWM rectifiers using only dc-side sensors is proposed. The phase currents are reconstructed from switching states of the rectifier and the dc output current. For effective current control, the currents are estimated by a predictive state observer. Also, both the phase angle and the magnitude of the source voltage are estimated by controlling the deviation between the model current and the system current to be zero. The validity of the proposed ac phase and current sensorless technique has been verified by experimental results.

  • This paper proposes a carrier-based pulse width modulation (PWM) method to control an indirect matrix converter (IMC) by analyzing the relationship between the space vector PWM (SVPWM) and the carrier-based PWM. The complexity of the SVPWM method for an IMC can be reduced by using an equivalent carrier-based PWM method. The advantage of the proposed algorithm is its ability use only one symmetrical triangular carrier signal to generate the gate signals for all of the power switches in both the rectifier and inverter stages as compared to the conventional method where the carrier signal used in the rectifier stage is different from that of the inverter stage. In addition, by using a suitable offset voltage component in the modulation signals, the output voltage magnitude reaches 0.866 of the input voltage magnitude. Simulation and experimental results are provided in order to validate the proposed method.
