This study was performed to provide fundamental data on the convenience foods purchase according to the food-related lifestyle. This study was conducted on 398 Chinese international students residing in Gyeonggi area between October and December 2019. Among the total 373 survey subjects, gender was 183 male students (49.1%) and 190 female students (50.9%). This study was conducted by questionnaire method with reference to previous studies. There are significant differences in economic pursuit and taste pursuit for delivery food use, economic pursuit and taste pursuit for delivery food information, health pursuit and taste pursuit in delivery food ordering method, and economic pursuit and convenience pursuit for delivery food use (p<0.05). Delivery food usage time was significantly different in convenience pursuit, health pursuit, eating out pursuit, and taste pursuit (p<0.05), and the delivery food preference menu was significantly different in economic pursuit, health pursuit, eating out pursuit, and taste pursuit (p<0.05). The menu positive factors among satisfaction factors showed statistically significant differences in economic pursuit (β=0.188, t=3.531) and health pursuit (β=0.160, t=3.099) among food related lifestyle factors. In conclusion, this study presented the desirable direction of delivery food usage in Chinese students.
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between lifestyles and clothing benefits pursuit. A questionnaire was developed to measure lifestyle and clothing benefits sought. The questionnaire was distributed and collected from 131 college female students in Tokyo. The data was analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis, reliability test, MANOVA and ANOVA by SPSS package. The lifestyles of the respondents were classified into five types such as recreational-oriented, fashion-oriented, progressive-oriented, intentional purchasing, and economics-oriented type. And clothing benefits pursuit was classified into five types such as individuality-pursuit, brand-pursuit, convenience-pursuit, fashion -pursuit, and coordination/figure flaws compensation-pursuit. The result of this study were as follows; 1) All of three lifestyle groups of appearance-oriented type, fashion-oriented type, intentional purchasing type had an inclination for individuality-pursuit, brand-pursuit, fashion-pursuit, and not an inclination for convenience-pursuit. 2) The higher the fashion-oriented and intentional purchasing, and the lower the progressive-oriented and economics-oriented were, the higher was individuality-pursuit. 3) The higher progressive-oriented and the lower recreational-oriented were, the higher convenience-pursuit was. 4) The brand-pursuit, convenience-pursuit, and fashion-pursuit were not shown to have the significant differences according to intentional purchasing group.
The purpose of this study was to identify benefits sought and use of the cosmetics. The results were as followes ; 1. Most women spent less than 40.000 won monthly, used basic cosmetics most frequently but used functional cosmetics least when they went out. 2. The factors of cosmetics benefits sought were self-confidence, individuality, beauty, saving appearance. and supplement defect. The respondents were segmented into the beauty pursuit, the supplement defect pursuit, the individuality pursuit, and the self-confidence pursuit. 3. The beauty pursuit used all kinds of cosmetics more than other groups, but the supplement defect pursuit used functional cosmetics more. The individuality pursuit used color cosmetics more, but spent cosmetics expenditure least. The self-confidence pursuit used all kinds of cosmetics least and spent cosmetics expenditure least. 4. The beauty pursuit was found among the older, the less educated, and jobless married women. The supplement defect pursuit was found among the late-teenagers. The individuality pursuit was found among married or unmarried working women. and the more educated. The self-confidence pursuit was found among college women. 5. The use of basic cosmitics was affected by cosmetics expenditure. age, supplement defect, and saving appearance. use of color cosmetics was by cosmetics expenditure, supplement defect, age, self-confidence, and individuality, and use of functional cosmetics was by cosmetics expenditure, supplement defect, and age.
This research subdivided the groups of baby clothes purchasers by consumer value factors in order to study clothing behavior by the value group of baby clothes purchasers and to examine differences in shopping propensity, pursuit benefits, evaluation criteria, and utilization of information sources depending on the value groups 1. A total of three factors - the pursuit of a stable life, the pursuit of achievement, and the pursuit of pleasure - were derived by conducting a factor analysis on the value dimensions of baby clothes purchasers. The value types of baby clothes purchasers were classified into three groups - the group of the pursuit of achievement, the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure, and the passive group as the result of conducting cluster analysis on the basis of three types of personal value factors. 2. In the difference of shopping propensity by the value group, the group of the pursuit of achievement and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure were found to be the group having economical shopping propensity. In the difference of pursuit benefits by the value group, the passive group appeared to be the group in pursuit of fashion, and it could be seen that the group of the pursuit of achievement and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure were highly interested in the pursuit of individuality and practicality. 3. In the evaluation criteria of clothes by the value group of baby clothes purchasers, the group of the pursuit of achievement was found to consider physical criteria as important evaluation criteria, and the group of the pursuit of stability and pleasure was found to consider aesthetic criteria as important evaluation criteria. In the utilization of information sources by the value group of baby clothes purchasers, the passive group was found to be influenced most by market-oriented information sources.

This study examines the effects of Chinese consumers' lifestyles on pursuing the benefits and purchase intentions for athleisure wear. Chinese female consumers aged 20 to 40 in Shanghai and Chengdu, who have purchased athleisure wear were selected for a survey, and 510 questionnaires were collected. Data was analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software. Factor analysis, reliability verification, regression analysis, and discrete analysis were performed. As a result, Chinese consumers' lifestyles were classified into three categories: 'personality orientation', 'show-off orientation', and 'health orientation'. There were four benefits: 'situation pursuit', 'practicality pursuit', 'fashion style pursuit', and 'appearance pursuit' for athleisure wear. Among the lifestyle types of Chinese consumers, "individuality-oriented" showed a positive effect on "pursuit of practicality", "pursuit of situation", "pursuit of fashion style", and "pursuit of appearance" among the benefits of pursuing athleisure wear. Next, among lifestyle types, 'show-off orientation' showed a positive effect on 'individuality' and 'appearance pursuit'. Finally, among lifestyle types, 'health-oriented' showed a positive effect on 'pursuit of practicality' and 'pursuit of appearance'. On the other hand, Chinese consumers' lifestyle types of "show-off," "health-oriented," and "individuality-oriented" all exhibited a significant impact on their purchase intention for athleisure wear. According to age groups and location, there is no significant difference in terms of 'lifestyle', 'athleisure wear pursuit benefits' and 'purchase intention'. Compared married women and unmarried women, it was found that unmarried women value their health and leisure, while those with a lower their educational background, considered the lifestyle of "individuality-oriented" and "show-off-oriented", as well as "situation-pursuit", "practicality", and "fashion style pursuit".

The main objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between benefits segmentation and knitwear purchasing behavior of college female students. A questionnaire was developed to measure benefits segmentation, knit wear purchasing behavior. The questionnaire was administered to 505 college female students in Chonbuk and Chonnam. The data was analyzed using percentage, frequency, mean, factor analysis, cluster analysis and ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test. The results of the study were as follows: The college female students were classified into four subdivisions by the cluster analysis: recreation pursuit group, fashion pursuit group, individuality pursuit group, self-improvement pursuit group on the basis of pursuit benefit factors. The knitwear purchasing motives of consumers were significantly different according to pursuit benefit subdivision. The individuality pursuit group was the highest user of mass media fashion information sources. The fashion pursuit group used purchasing experience and advice of others less than other groups. Consumers' evaluation criteria of knitwear products were significantly different depending on pursuit benefit subdivision in design and coordination, goods traits, practicality, individual expression, and external criterion. The other groups used purchasing experience and advice of others more than the fashion pursuit group.
This study examines the image pursuit behavior according to body surveillance, body shame of image-based SNS-used women. Questionnaires were administered to 215 SNS-used women aging between 20 to 30 years old. The SPSS 25.0 package was utilized for data analysis, which included frequency analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's α, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The study analyzed the relationship between body surveillance, body shame single factor, and subfactors of image pursuit behavior(conformity, instrumentality, fashion pursuit, attractiveness pursuit, ostentation pursuit, interpersonal). It was observed that body surveillance and body shame had a positive influence on all the factors of image pursuit behavior. Body surveillance demonstrated a high influence on attractiveness pursuit while body shame demonstrated a high influence on ostentation pursuit. Body surveillance had a positive influence on body shame. These results provide useful information for understanding the influence of social media on the psychological attitude and consciousness of women with regard to their body and image pursuit behavior. In addition, results from this study will help to systematize women's theoretical physical consciousness, establish product strategies for physical appearance-related industries, and set marketing directions.
The purposes of this study were to: 1) identify sub-factors of fashion shopping orientation (FSO) in adults aged 20 through 39, and analyze the differences among those FSO factors according to classified groups, which were based on gender and purchase frequency in a mobile shopping mall, and 2) to investigate the effects of FSO factors on mobile purchase intention according to the same classified groups. The questionnaire was conducted from November 10, 2015 to November 20, 2015 and its 432 respondents were classified into four groups, which were male/heavy purchaser, male/light purchaser, female/heavy purchaser, and female/light purchaser. The results of this study were as follows: First, fashion shopping orientation consisted of five sub-factors, which included "conspicuous brand pursuit", "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit", "impulse shopping", and "convenience pursuit". Second, There were significant differences in three factors of FSO between male purchasers and female purchasers. Male purchasers showed higher tendency than female purchasers in "conspicuous brand pursuit", while female purchasers showed higher tendency than male purchasers in "economic pursuit" and "convenience pursuit". All the factors of FSO showed significant differences among the classified groups. Third, "economic pursuit", "pleasure/trend pursuit" and "convenience pursuit" affected mobile purchase intention in the case of male purchasers while "economic pursuit" and "conspicuous brand pursuit" had a influence on mobile purchase intention in the case of female purchasers. Fourth, the factors of FSO affected mobile purchase intention partly in each group. In conclusion. "economic pursuit" was proven to be the main influential factor to induce consumers to have a mobile purchase intention.
Objectives: This study investigated the association between eating habits and the utilization of dietary supplements (DSs) according to food-related lifestyle (FRL) among Korean adults. Methods: This study included a total of 300 participants (150 men and 150 women) in their 20s to 60s living in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. We identified two groups by factor and cluster analysis: an 'active pursuit' group and a 'passive pursuit' group. Differences in eating habits and DS utilization between the two groups were analyzed by chi-square test and t-test. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the effect of variables on DS consumption according to FRL. Results: There were significant differences between the two groups in terms of age, alcohol drinking frequency, total dietary score, change in DS consumption after coronavirus disease 2019, and current DS consumption (P < 0.05). The proportion who perceived many health benefits of DSs was higher in the 'active pursuit' group than in the 'passive pursuit' group (P = 0.003). The most commonly consumed type of DSs was multivitamins & minerals for the 'active pursuit' group, and omega-3 fatty acids for the 'passive pursuit' group. The 'an active pursuit' group consumed DSs 2.93 times more (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.44-5.97) compared to the 'passive pursuit' group, after adjusting for confounders. In the 'active pursuit' group, the health pursuit (odds ratio [OR] = 6.54, 95% CI: 1.44-29.61) and rational consumption pursuit factors (OR = 0.26, 95% CI: 0.08-0.83) were associated with DS consumption, whereas only the health pursuit factor had a significant association (OR = 5.37, 95% CI: 2.08-13.88) within the 'passive pursuit' group. However, total dietary score and DSs consumption did not show a relationship. Conclusions: By understanding the consumption characteristics of DSs according to FRL, this can serve as basic data necessary for promoting health through the utilization of DSs and healthy behaviors.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the use and satisfaction on cosmetics of middle- and old-aged women with well-being pursuit disposition. A survey was conducted from January 20 to February 10 in 2006. The statistical analysis methods used to analyze the 393 middle- and old- aged female subjects were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, crosstab, and multiple regression analysis. First, middle- and old-aged women were using functional cosmetics for wrinkle and whitening as well as skin lotion, moisture lotion and nutritive cream. They applied basic skin make-up only or partial make-up on the eyes and lips. Second, the well-being pursuit disposition factors were determined to be eco-friendly pursuit disposition, economical pursuit disposition, and health pursuit disposition. The well-being pursuit disposition factors had an effect on satisfaction of basic cosmetics. While the economical pursuit disposition factor had an effect on satisfaction of colored cosmetics. Third, the clusters from well-being pursuit disposition were determined to be wellbeing unconcerned group, eco-friendly concerned group, economical concerned group, and health concerned group. The proportion of subjects applying basic and colored cosmetics was high in health concerned group.
