대도시 교통문제 완화를 위한 간선도로별 신호체계의 최적설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Design of the Arterial-Based Signal System for the Relief of Transportation Problems in Metropolitan Areas)

  • The main arterial which runs through the in City of Pusan, carries about 60% of downtown traffic or more, maintains about 20% yearly increase in traffic is severely suffering from the traffic congestion because of concentrated traffic volumes regardless of peak-time periods. The purpose of this study was to grasp the traffic, geometric, and signal conditions of the main arterial through the Videologging System Techniques, perform the transportation system analyses, and finally suggest the improvements which could increase the travel capacity, reduce the average delay and fuel consumption with the optimal conditions of signal system. The following conclusions were drawn : firstly the traffic system should be shifted for the travel distribution on the arterial during the peak time periods, secondly the roadway system of the arterial reviewed for left-turn traffic during the peak time periods, and thirdly the signal system of intersection reconstructed for signal optimization or progression within the range of cycle length suggested.

대형교통사고 판별모델 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on Establishment of Discrimination Model of Big Traffic Accident)

  • Traffic accidents increase with the increase of the vehicles in operation on the street. Especially big traffic accidents composed of over 3 killed or 20 injured accidents with the property damage become one of the serious problems to be solved in most of the cities. The purpose of this study is to build the discrimination model on big traffic accidents using the Quantification II theory for establishing the countermeasures to reduce the big traffic accidents. The results are summarized as follows. 1)The existing traffic accident related model could not explain the phenomena of the current traffic accident appropriately. 2) Based on the big traffic accident types vehicle-vehicle, vehicle-alone, vehicle-pedestrian and vehicle-train accident rates 73%, 20.5% 5.6% and two cases respectively. Based on the law violation types safety driving non-fulfillment center line invasion excess speed and signal disobedience were 48.8%, 38.1% 2.8% and 2.8% respectively. 3) Based on the law violation types major factors in big traffic accidents were road and environment, human, and vehicle in order. Those factors were vehicle, road and environment, and human in order based on types of injured driver’s death. 4) Based on the law violation types total hitting and correlation rates of the model were 53.57% and 0.97853. Based on the types of injured driver’s death total hitting and correlation rates of the model were also 71.4% and 0.59583.

위법운전자에 대한 제재 수준과 정책수단 선택의 교통안전효과 비교 (Comparing the Effectiveness of Punishment Severity and Policy Means on Traffic Laws Violating Drivers)

  • 본 연구는 교통법규를 위반한 운전자에게 주어지는 처벌의 강도와 정책수단의 선택에 따라 교통법규 위반과 교통사고 야기 감소라는 정책목표 달성에 차이가 있는지를 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 동일한 위반행위에 대해 운전면허를 취소하는 경우와 재위반시 운전면허 취소를 전제로 운전면허 정지로 감경처분을 하는 경우 처분이후 18개월간 교통법규 위반과 교통사고 야기에 대하여 공분산분석과 표본매칭 후 비교집단간 t검정을 실시하였다. 분석결과 유인정책을 활용하는 것이 강한 처벌을 하는 것보다 제재 이후의 교통법규 위반과 교통사고 야기를 감소하는 효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다.

상황인식 기술을 이용한 운전자 선호도 기반 교통상세정보 추천 시스템 (Driver Preference Based Traffic Information Recommender Using Context-Aware Technology)

  • Even though there have been many efforts on driver's route recommendation, driver still should get involved to choose the driving path in a manual manner. Uncertain traffic information provided to the driver delays his arrival time and hence may cause diminished economic values. One of the solutions of reducing the uncertainty is to provide various kinds of traffic information, rather than send real-time information. Therefore, as the wireless communication technology improves and at the same time volume of utilizable traffic contents increases in geometrical progression, selecting traffic information based on driver's context in a timely and individual manner will be needed. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology that efficiently sends the rich traffic contents to the personal in-vehicle navigation. To do so, driver preference is modeled and then the recommendation algorithm of traffic information contents was developed using the preference model. Secondly, ontology based traffic situation analyzation method is suggested to automatically inference the noticeable information from the traffic context on driver's route. To show the feasibility of the idea proposed in this paper, an open API service is implemented in consideration of ease of use.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a planning method for increasing visitors' usage attraction by understanding user circulation in the large scale commercial complex. Focusing on the impact of anchor tenant on the pedestrian traffic arousing visitors' usage attraction flow, this study analyzed pedestrian circulation and traffic volume of Lotte World Mall, a large scale commercial complex. In this study, the change of pedestrian traffic in the commercial complex was investigated and the circulation flow of anchor tenant visitors such as movie theater in the commercial complex was simulated by computer. By analyzing both characteristics of pedestrian circulation and traffic volume in large scale commercial complex and movie theater users' pedestrian traffic with network-based computer simulation, positive relationship between pedestrian traffic to movie theater and pedestrian traffic dispersion of the whole commercial complex users was emerged. In addition, It is necessary to plan of distributing pedestrian traffic of vertical moving line in central space appropriately for using attraction function of anchor tenant.

Characteristics of Traffic Accidents on Highways: An Analysis Based on Patients Treated at a Regional Trauma Center

  • Purpose: There have been increasing concerns about serious traffic accidents on highways. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors affecting traffic accidents on highways and the severity of the resulting injuries. Methods: This retrospective study was conducted at a regional trauma center. We reviewed 594 patients who had been in 114 traffic accidents on highways from January 2018 to June 2020. We collected demographic data, clinical data, accident-related factors, and meteorological data (weather and temperature). Results: Environmental risk factors were found to be significantly associated with the incidence of traffic accidents on highways. Injury severity and the death rate were higher in sedans than in any other type of vehicle. Tunnels were the most common location of accidents, accounting for 47 accidents (41.2%) and 269 injured patients (45.3%). The injury severity of individuals riding in the driver's seat (front seat) was high, regardless of vehicle type. Three meteorological risk factors were found to be significantly associated with traffic accidents: rainy roads (odds ratio [OR] 2.08; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.84-3.29; p=0.01), icy or snowy roads (OR 5.12; 95% CI 2.88-7.33; p<0.01), and foggy conditions (OR 2.94; 95% CI 2.15-4.03; p<0.05). Conclusions: The injury severity of patients was affected by seat position and type of vehicle, and the frequency of accident was affected by the location. The incidence of traffic accidents was strongly influenced by meteorological conditions (rain, snow/ice, and fog).

임신초기 교통사고로 입원한 환자 3례에 대한 경과보고 (Three Cases Report of Patients Caused by Traffic Accident during Early Pregnancy)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this report is to report the clinical application and safety of oriental treatment to pain and symptoms caused by traffic accident during early pregnancy. Methods: The three patients who suffered from several pain and symptoms caused by traffic accident during early pregnancy were treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping therapy and physical treatment during their admission. And we followed up by phone call after their delivery. Results: Patients' pain and symptoms of this case were improved with oriental treatment during their admission. And serious side effects were not found on the patients and infants after treatment. Conclusion: This report shows that oriental treatment can be effective for those who suffering from several pain and symptoms caused by traffic accident during early pregnancy.

교통흐름에 기인하는 미세먼지 노출 도시인구에 대한 시.공간적 분석 (Spacio-temporal Analysis of Urban Population Exposure to Traffic-Related air Pollution)

  • 자동차를 중심으로 하는 도로교통량이 크게 늘면서 교통에 기인한 다양한 피해 현상들이 나타나고 있다. 특히 교통량이 집중되는 대도시에서는 교통에 기인한 도시민의 건강피해가 심각한 것으로 밝혀지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 교통에 기인한 미세먼지의 피해를 직접적으로 받는 도시인구는 미세먼지의 주 발생원인 교통흐름이 있는 도로변에 가까이에 노출되는 도시민들이라고 보고 도시 공간 내에서 교통흐름과 미세먼지, 그리고 도시 통행인구의 공간적 분포를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 대기오염문제가 심각한 서울을 대상으로 교통에 기인한 미세먼지의 실태를 살펴보고, 서울을 둘러싸고 있는 경기도 일대에 대단위 주거지들이 밀집된 신도시들이 개발되면서 나타나는 인구분포와 통행패턴, 그리고 교통흐름 및 미세먼지 농도에 나타나는 공간적 변화와 이들 간의 공간적 관계를 종합적으로 파악하기 위하여 GIS를 적용하였다. 또한 교통카드 트랜잭션 데이터베이스에서 데이터마이닝기법으로 추출해낸 통행흐름 자료를 이용하여 통행시간별 통행인구분포도를 작성하고, 이를 바탕으로 교통에 기인한 미세먼지에 직접 노출하게 되는 도시인구를 산정하는 시 공간적 모형개발을 시도하였다.

교통섬 설치로 인한 교통사고 감소 효과 (Effects of Traffic Islands on Traffic Accidents Reduction)

  • 교통섬으로 대표되는 도류화 시설은 교통소통과 안전에 크게 기여하면서 신규 도로설계와 교통사고잦은곳 개선사업과 같은 교통안전대책사업에 광범위하게 적용되고 있으나, 다양한 도로환경 조건에서 교통섬 설치로 인한 교통사고 감소효과 등은 구체적으로 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전국 54개 교차로를 대상으로 공사 전 후 각 3년간의 교통사고자료와 도로환경 자료를 이용하여 정규성 검정과 대응표본 t-검정, 윌콕슨 부호검정을 실시하여 다양한 도로 환경조건에서 교통섬 설치로 인한 교통사고 감소 효과와 경제성 분석을 실시하였다. 교통섬 설치 이후 대부분의 경우 교통사고가 감소하였으나 교통섬의 이용효율이 낮은 시외곽/농업지역과 운전자의 전방 교차로와 교통섬에 대한 시인성이 불량한 곡선부나 교차로 접근부와 유출부의 도로선형이 꺽인구간, 교통섬 설치시 가감속차로가 병행 설치되지 않아 분 합류되는 교차로간상충이 있는 경우 및 부도로 차로수가 1차로인 경우에는 교통섬의 잇점을 충분히 살리지 못해 교통사고감소에 미치는 영향이 미미한 것으로 분석되었다.

스키드마크를 이용한 교통사고 조사 (Investigation of Traffic Accident using Skid Mark)

  • 교통사고가 발생 한 경우에 스키드마크는 자동차 속도 산출을 위해서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 객관적이고, 과학적인 수사를 위해, 교통 사고는 공정한 기록에 의해서, 컴퓨터 모의 실험, 및 학문, 그리고 충돌 사고 역동성, 도로 및 교통 공학으로 검증되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는, 교통사고, 과학, 객관적인 방법을 이용하여 진짜 교통사고 및 결과를 재현하였다. 모의실험 결과 포장도로와 비포장도로에서는 비포장도로의 제동시간이 포장도로의 제동시간 보다 짧다는 것이 입증되었다.
