자영업의 지속기간과 지속의사의 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors for Sustaining Period and Willingness of Continuing of Self-employed Business)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influencing factors on the continuity and the willingness of continuing self-employment. The sample of 321 was selected from self-employed workers living in Daegu. For data analysis, t-test, multiple regression, and logistic analysis were used. The major findings were as follows : 1. The sustaining period of self-employment were affected by gender, age, and educational attainment of self-employed workers, as well as the amount of starting capital, couple's partnership in business or not, and the type of industry in business. 2. Willingness to continue self-employment is more likely for those who without other income source, have positive vision with future economic prospects, have more satisfied with their self-employed work.

기술창업 장애요인 실태조사 (A Survey on the Obstacles of Technology-based Startups)

  • 본 연구에서는 기술창업 활성화를 효율적으로 추진하기 위해 기술창업자를 대상으로 기술창업 장애요인에 대한 실태를 조사하고 기술창업 활성화 방안을 수립하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위한 조사대상은 기창업자 327개사였으며, 이들을 대상으로 창업에 관한 일반적인 사항과 창업정책에 대한 전반적인 사항에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 기술창업에 대한 실패원인은 기술에 대한 과신, 코스트 관리 부재, 영업 수익 확보를 위한 집중력 미흡, 무계획적인 도전, 전략판단의 미흡, CEO 부적임으로 능력부족과 사유화하는 것으로 대별될 수 있었으며, 기술창업을 위한 성공요인으로는 1) CEO의 리더쉽과 명확한 사업 컨셉, 2) 독창적인 상품 서비스의 개발, 3) 플랫(flat)한 조직과 유연한 조직 운영, 4) 외부의 경영 자원 및 네트워크의 활용, 5) 하이브리드(hybrid) 요원 구성에 의한 인재 보강 등이 파악되었다.

청년자영업자의 온라인쇼핑몰 창업에 관한 탐색적 연구 (Explanatory Study on Online Shopping Mall Startup by Young Entrepreneurs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 창업 인프라 기관인 N사의 파트너스퀘어(광주)를 이용한 경험이 있는 청년자영업자를 대상으로 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업하는 과정을 근거이론(Grounded Theory) 방법을 활용해 규명해 보는 데 있다. 본 연구는 심층 면접 조사 자료를 활용했는데, 연구 참여자의 선정에 있어 이론적 표본 추출 (Theoretical Sampling)방식을 사용했으며, 스트라우스와 코빈(Strauss & Corbin)이 제시한 개방코딩, 축 코딩, 선택코딩 순으로 진행한 후 패러다임모형으로 분석했다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모는 온라인쇼핑몰에 대해 잘 알지 못하거나 부정적이라도 자녀의 창업에 대해서 긍정적이면 자녀가 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 부모가 온라인쇼핑몰에 대해서 부정적이고, 자녀의 창업에도 부정적이면 자녀는 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청년층의 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업과 성과 창출 조건으로 온라인쇼핑몰 활용능력이 중요한 것으로 나타났는데, 특히 파트너스퀘어 (광주)는 온라인쇼핑몰 활용능력을 증대시켜, 청년층의 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청년층은 온라인쇼핑몰에서 창업 이후 단순한 매출액 증가 이외에 자존감 상승, 기회발견, 창의성 역량이 강화되는 것으로 나타났다.

외식업 경영주의 직업만족도 및 경영의식 조사연구 - 경남지 역을 중심으로 - (Job Satisfaction and Business Attitude of Restaurant Owners - Focused Mainly in the Gyeone-nam Area -)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the job satisfaction and business attitudes of restaurant owners in order to explore solutions for improving restaurant management. The results were as follows : 1) The motive for starting a restaurant business was vocational aptitude \longrightarrow possibilities \longrightarrow good income : 2) In terms of job satisfaction, most respondents were satisfied with both the work itself and the income. It was also observed that the younger owners were more satisfied with their jobs than the older owners : 3) Increased costs, including labor and food costs, was indicated as the biggest problem in restaurant management. Respondents also perceived labor shortage as one of the most difficult problems. Men were more likely than women to consider the following problems as being more serious: rent, financial problems, taxes, regulation restrictions, menu development and customer complaints. It was found that as the size of the restaurants grew, the respondents perceived the shortage of labor as the hardest part of running a business : 4) Respondents agreed that employing good foodservice workers was the most important part of foodservice management. Owners also believed that they needed more research time for menu and service development 5) To be successful, the restaurant owners paid the most careful attention to food taste. Service, sanitation, and menu development were also emphasized. Respondents stressed the focus on service, good relationships, diligence, and faithfulness in order to be a good restaurant owner. The results of this research suggest that restaurant owners should have more professional conscientiousness to succeed in their own businesses, as well as improve the quality of the foodservice industry. Other important aspects related to the overall improved quality of the foodservice industry are: the continuation of government support, the enlargement of educational opportunities and greater respect for foodservice employees.   • "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people." By Steve Jobs, 2003. As define by Linda Naiam - Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity involves two processes: thinking, then producing. Innovation is the production or implementation of an idea. If you have ideas, but don't act on them, you are imaginative but not creative. So in order to maintain the pace with the changing business scenario and coping with the competition Innovation and Creativity is considered a mandatory tool for a business to exist and grow in market. Whether a company is Employee centric or Business centric Innovation and creativity has to have its space in order to keep a business ahead of others in the Market. Also it's not just the competition which has led to the Innovation and Creativity in Business practices it's also the demanding chunk of consumers and customers who are aware and prefer maximum choices before making a final deal. Another reason as to why there is a change in business practices is the globalization of businesses where you need to rope in the Innovative ideas to launch and sustain in new market. There had been tremendous shift in business practices but to give a room to innovative ideas and implement that creativity need ample to space and vision along with an attitude where in you can resist for getting an immediate results from innovative business practices. Corporate Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions. Generating fresh solutions to problems, and the ability to create new products, processes or services for a changing market, are part of the intellectual capital that give a company its competitive edge. Creativity is a crucial part of the innovation equation. The innovation and creativity is not limited to any area of business, it can start from your waiting lounge to your board room meeting depending upon how the things are perceived and implemented for the betterment of people and business. The purpose of this research is to understand the latest creative business approaches and practices that organizations are following to be different from their competitors. Also this shift from generic business practices to the Innovative and Creative approach seems to take the business into new world. This approaches means starting from the bottom of the Pyramid and finally touching the pinnacles in Innovation and creativity. The paper will discuss on the various areas of business where in innovative approaches can be roped in and sets new bench mark altogether in the business arena.

궁정회화(宮廷繪畵)를 통해 본 청대복식(淸代服飾) 연구(硏究) - 순치(順治) 15년(年)부터 가경(嘉慶) 19년(年)까지를 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Costume of Qing Dynasty in the Court Painting)

  • The purpose of this study was to correctly understand the costume of Qing dynasty in the court painting. The starting point of this study was that the painting typically reflects the cultural values, social significations, costume and aesthetic outlook of that period when the paintings were done. Based on this regard, this study analyzed the costume of figure paintings in the court painting of the Qing dynasty that complied and edited by the Palace Museum. The court dress of Qing dynasty represented not only the spiritual world of Manchu tribes but also the influences of Chinese traditional culture. The court dresses of Kangxi and Qianloug showed definitely the luxury of life of Qing court. The everyday dress of Qing dynasty reflected the nomadic environments and it was very simple. The hunting dress of Qing dynasty was very developed and also represented horse riding and hunting activities of their traditional life. The ladies of Qing dynasty enjoyed to dress the costume of old Chinese style. The appearance of noble women was fragile and slim.

An Empirical Study on the Utilization and Performance of the Korea-China FTA in Korean SMEs

  • Purpose - Based on the Korea-China FTA as the starting point, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the main influencing factors of the FTA utilization and performance of SMEs. Design/methodology - Taking into account the relationship between the internal and external environmental factors on FTA activities and performance of Korea's SMEs, with PLS-SEM and data obtained by the questionnaire, Smart PLS was applied for the analysis. Findings - The recognition of FTA in SMEs has a significant positive effect on FTA utilization and performance, the international marketing orientation factor only has a significant positive effect on the performance, while the inadequate improvement of non-tariff barriers has a significant negative impact on FTA utilization. In addition, FTA activity has a significant mediation effect on two paths. Originality/value - This paper is of great practical relevance as a tool to enable SMEs to make effective utilization of Korea-China FTA and improve their imports and exports. The paper helps grasp the main factors affecting the utilization and performance of FTA for SMEs, also to establish FTA Business Model and FTA utilization plans for specific industries in the future regarding tariff and non-tariffs compatibility.

  • Purpose: For the last few decades, TQM has become a hot topic in the inner-disciplinary field in the production management line. Still, unfortunately, the study of TQM and Quality Output management is partially only attached to the tangible side in the production management line. Whereas theoretically, the implications of TQM require incremental improvement in all management lines (e.g., HRM, Marketing, Operations, and Distribution Management). Therefore, starting from the main problem, this study aims to analyze the effect of total quality management, Organizational Culture, Perceived Distribution of Quality Awareness, and quality output through a more in-depth analysis. Research design, data and methodology: We conducted a survey of 170 respondents from managers, staff, and employees from 48 companies in Indonesia. We used a quantitative approach with the SEM method to answer this study's problem formulation and hypotheses. Results: The results of our research stated that based on the demonstration of statistical test results, all hypotheses were positive and significant, both direct and indirect relationship demonstrations. Conclusions: Universally, the findings in this study illustrate that the supporting factor for creating value-added in TQM and Quality output lies in the optimal and positive organizational culture and Perceived Distribution Quality Awareness factors in the organization.

Predicting Consumers' Repurchase Intention of Ready-to-Drink Coffee: A Supply Chain from Thai Producers to Retailers

  • Purpose: This research investigates ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee. Although the RTD coffee market is growing competitively, few studies have examined behavioral re-intention or repurchase intention in the context of this industry. Therefore, the objective of this study was to explore factors affecting the behavioral re-intention to purchase RTD coffee. Research design, data and methodology: Using the theory of planned behavior (TPB) as the underpinning theoretical framework, this study hypothesized that behavioral re-intention to purchase RTD coffee is influenced by the variables of the TPB and additional variables. A mixed-method research design was applied, starting with qualitative in-depth interviews and followed by a quantitative method. Data were collected using an online survey of coffee lovers. Multiple linear regression (MLR) was used to assess the hypothesized relationships in the proposed conceptual framework. Results: The results reveal that content sensory attribute beliefs are the strongest positive predictor of behavioral re-intention in Thailand, followed by perceived utilitarian value. In contrast, price signaling was negatively related to behavioral re-intention. Conclusions: The findings can help food and beverage companies to develop new coffee product lines to gain more market share, create integrated marketing communications to build brand awareness, and manage distribution channels and the supply chain.

명치시대(明治時代) 일본의 조선(朝鮮) 바다 조사 (On the Japanese Investigations for the Korean Sea during Meiji Period)

  • This study is to survey the Japanese investigations for Korean sea during Meiji period. Meiji government was eager to develop new fishing ground to provide the marine products to their people, to offer the job for their people and to accumulate the starting capital. They found that the Korean sea was abundant in shark, sea cucumber and ear shell. These products were valuable for Chinese foods. From 1870's, Japan Navy investigated Korean sea for military purpose and subsequently for fishery. The first investigation for Korean maritime products was The Circumstances for Catching Fish in Korean Sea by Sekizawa Akikiyo in 1893. He was the most famous specialist in fishery and insisted that Japanese fishermen must go to Korean sea and catch fishes. Meiji government accepted his opinion and pushed the policy sending fishermen to Korean sea. Meiji government enlarged the investigations and backed up the activities of fisherman and the organization for fishery in Korean sea. Especially, the investigations by The Association for Korean Sea Fishery were repeated and detailed(1897~1900). The Association intervened the conflicts between Korean and Japanese fishermen. At the same time, The Association investigated the attitudes of Korean people to Japanese. The Guidelines for Fishery in Korean Sea by Kuzuu Syuzo was also very detail, especially in the kinds of fishes in Korean sea. These investigations were supported by Meiji government or organizations helped by government.
