펄스파워 기술을 이용한 전류펄스 공급장치 (Electric current pulse supply unit use pulse power technique)

  • 본 논문에서는 경량합금 용해공정 상에서 발생되는 응고 조직의 불균일한 문제를 대전류 펄스파워 장치를 적용해서 해결하기위한 용도로 전류펄스 공급 장치를 개발했다. 펄스파워를 발생시키기 위한 전원공급용 스위치는 MOSFET 스위치를 사용했고, 게이트제어를 위한 신호로는 PWM 신호를 발생시켜 공급했다. 설계한 회로에 대해 시뮬레이션을 거쳐 PCB로 제작하여 최종적으로 전류펄스 공급 장치를 개발했다. 전원회로 시뮬레이션은 PSIM 소프트웨어를 이용해서 실시했다. 실험결과 개발한 시스템에서 출력되는 전류펄스 출력신호가 시뮬레이션 결과와 잘 일치함을 확인했다.

Full Wave Cockroft Walton Application for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

  • A high-voltage power supply has been built for activation of the brain via stimulation using a Full Wave Cockroft-Walton Circuit (FWCW). A resonant half-bridge inverter was applied (with half plus/half minus DC voltage) through a bidirectional power transistor to a magnetic stimulation device with the capability of producing a variety of pulse forms. The energy obtained from the previous stage runs the transformer and FW-CW, and the current pulse coming from the pulse-forming circuit is transmitted to a stimulation coil device. In addition, the residual energy in each circuit will again generate stimulation pulses through the transformer. In particular, the bidirectional device modifies the control mode of the stimulation coil to which the current that exceeds the rated current is applied, consequently controlling the output voltage as a constant current mode. Since a serial resonant half-bridge has less switching loss and is able to reduce parasitic capacitance, a device, which can simultaneously change the charging voltage of the energy-storage condenser and the pulse repetition rate, could be implemented. Image processing of the brain activity was implemented using a graphical user interface (GUI) through a data mining technique (data mining) after measuring the vital signs separated from the frequencies of EEG and ECG spectra obtained from the pulse stimulation using a 90S8535 chip (AMTEL Corporation).

마이크로 펄스 전해 복합가공에 관한 연구 (Study on the new development of combined electrochemical processes using pulse current)

  • Some investigators who have tried to achieve the highly smooth surface finish using electrochemical processes have reported that high current density produced lustrous surfaces while the opposite conditions produced a passive layer and had a tendency to produce a black surface. However, processing at a low current density may produce a non-lustrous surface but the improvement of dimensional accuracy of the surface is significant. The surface with pulse process was a bit more lustrous than with continuous current but the black passive layer still could be found at grooved surface. There are two ways to achieve highly smooth surface finish. One is brushing it with a brush the other is electrochemical machining (ECM) with high current. The former method is the most common polishing practice, but not only may the surface obtained differ from operator to operator, but precision smooth surface on micro grooves are difficult to obtain. The latter one recently has been used to produce a highly smooth surface after EDM process. However, the material removal rate in ECM with high current is relatively high. Hence the original shape of the micro grooves, which was formed by electrochemical micro-machining (EMM) process, may be destroyed. In this study, an electrochemical polishing process using pulse current is adopted as a possible alternative process when micro grooves formed by EMM process should be polished. Mirror-like micro grooves with lustrous and smooth surface can be produced electrochemically with pulse current because the voltage and current used can be lower than the case of continuous current. This study will discuss the accurate control of physical and electrical conditions so as to achieve mirror-like micro grooves with lustrous and smooth surface without destroying the original shape of micro grooves.

토끼 심방근에서 Na-Ca 교환 전류에 대한 Bay K, cAMP, Isoprenaline 효과 (Effects of Bay K, cAMP and Isoprenaline on the Na-Ca Exchange Current of Single Rabbit Atrial Cells)

  • Ca movements during the late plateau phase in rabbit atrium implicate Na-Ca exchange. In single atrial cells isolated from the rabbit the properties of the inward current of Na-Ca exchange were investigated using the whole cell voltage clamp technique. The inward currents were recorded during repolarization following brief 2 ms depolarizing pulse to +40 mV from a holding potential of -70 mV. Followings are the results obtained: 1) When stimulated every 30 sec, the inward currents were activated and reached peak values $6{\sim}12\;ms$ after the beginning of depolarizing pulse. The mean current amplitude was 342 pA/cell. 2) The current decayed spontaneously from the peak activation and the timecourse of the relaxation showed two different phases: fast and slow phase. 3) The recovery of the inward current was tested by paired pulse of various interval. The peak current recovered exponentialy with a time course similar to that of Ca current recovery. 4) Relaxation timecourse was also affected by pulse interval and time constant was reduced almost linearly according to the decrease of pulse interval between 30 sec and 1 sec. 5) The peak inward current was increased by long prepulse stimulation, Bay K, isoprenaline or c-AMP. 6) The relaxation time constant of the inward current was prolonged by Bay K or c-AMP, and shortened by isoprenaline. From the above results, it could be concluded that increase of the calcium current potentiates and prolongs intracellular calcium transients, while shortening of the timecourse by isoprenaline or short interval stimulations might be due to the facilitation of Ca uptake by SR.

An Interleaved Converter for 12-pulse Rectifier Harmonic Suppression

  • In order to further improve the harmonic suppression capability of conventional 12-pulse rectifiers, this paper proposes a low harmonic 12-pulse rectifier using an Active Inter-Phase Reactor (AIPR). Through a detailed analysis of the relationship between the input current, output current and circulating current of the DC side, the mechanism where the AC grid side current harmonics can be suppressed by the DC side circulating current is revealed. On this basis, an interleaved APFC controlled by a DSP is designed and used as an AIPR along with an interphase reactor. A simulation is carried out with MATLAB/Simulink and an experiment is performed on a 9-kVA prototype. The obtained results verify the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach. Compared with a traditional 12-pulse rectifier, the THD can be reduced to 1/5 of the original value, and the capacity of the AIPR is only 2% of the load power. Thus, it is suitable for high-power applications.

  • The Paper discussed the effects of working electric current and pulse when using super hardend alloy drill as corona electrode. The discharge effect can be obtained very precisely in the ranges of 1A - 2A in working current. $12{\mu}s-14{\mu}s$ in dis charge pulse on time width and $8{\mu}s-10{\mu}s$ in discharge pulse off time.

지간적 직류Corona의 실질적 검토 (Experimental Study of DC Coronas in Point-to-Plane Short Gap)

  • Positive and negative coronas in point-to-plane short gap have been investigated with the variations of point radius and gap length. Mainly the onset potentials and current pulses under various conditions were measured with a 70 MHz C.R.O. and a precise-controllable D.C. power supply. In the case of negative corona, the Trichel pulse corona, glow corona and spark regions were distinguished apparently and the critical gap lengths between them were also found clearly. In the case of positive corona, there are streamer corona, spark regions and the critical gap length between them, too. The current pulse forms of Trichel pulse corona of negative and streamer pulse corona of positive are similar in rising time, peak-to-peak time and pulse width. The glow corona current shows D.C. component in form.

전도성 E1 펄스에 대한 ZnO 바리스터의 동작특성 분석 (Response Characteristic Analysis of ZnO Varistors by the Conductive E1 Pulse)

  • This work presents the response characteristics of a ZnO varistor to conductive EMP. An E1 pulse, standardized to MIL-STD-188-125-1, was applied to the varistors wherein the residual current and response times were measured with the applied E1 pulse current. Additionally, the response time was measured according to the length of the connection path. Consequently, the amplitude of the residual voltage through the ZnO varistors was increased with increasing amplitude of the applied E1 pulse current. As the length of the connection path increased, the operating response time and residual peak voltage also increased. These results indicate that the response characteristics of ZnO varistors can be applied to basic data to support the use of varistors as a protective measure against conductive EMP.

  • This study is to optimize the condition of pulse parameters using the response surface method in micro pulse TIG welding of pleated type metallic filter. The input parameters used were pulse current, base current, pulse duty, frequency and welding speed and the hydraulic pressure was used as the output parameter. The central composite design was designed using second order regression model, As the results, the optimal welding condition to manufacture the pleated type metallic filter was obtained.

  • In this paper, we introduced the neural network to reduce force ripple of current controller for a linear pulse motor. In general, conventional position controllers of linear pulse motor disregard the modeling error and load variations, which cause inaccuracy in position control. The proposed current controller based on neural network teaming modifies the current commands in order to reduce force ripple due to these factors. The experiment results show that the proposed controller works efficiently for accurate position control of linear pulse motor.
