인스타그램 패션 인플루언서의 패션디자인 특성 분석 (Analysis of the Characteristics of Fashion Design in Instagram's Fashion Influencer)

  • Fashion Influencer of Instagram get a lot of attention from the public, and they play a major role in shaping peoples' taste. This study attempts to analyze the fashion design of fashion influencer in Instagram. The data was collected from Apr. 15th to April 30th, 2017, and the pictures were collected from May, 2016 to April, 2017. Total of 460 pictures were collected based on the number of "likes". The method of study was content analysis and the cross tabulation analysis and frequency using SPSS Statics 24 Based on the above results, influencers were mostly models that have many "likes" on their photos. Many of influencers were wearing black, white, or blue dresses that do not have any patterns. Many others were wearing indigo, black, or white jeans with T-shirts. In summary of the above contents, influencer also found out that the materials of their clothes were both hard and soft, and that the casual style was the most popular among influencer, and that influencer also liked elegant, modern, mannish, or sexy looks. Therefore, through this study, it was found that the fashion design of influencer had a unique fashion image. Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Blake Lively are the representative influencers of fashion instagram. Gigi Hadid was a casual and manish image, Kendall Jenner was a casual and sexy image, and Blake Lively was an elegant image.

Aerial Dataset Integration For Vehicle Detection Based on YOLOv4

  • With the increasing application of UAVs in intelligent transportation systems, vehicle detection for aerial images has become an essential engineering technology and has academic research significance. In this paper, a vehicle detection method for aerial images based on the YOLOv4 deep learning algorithm is presented. At present, the most known datasets are VOC (The PASCAL Visual Object Classes Challenge), ImageNet, and COCO (Microsoft Common Objects in Context), which comply with the vehicle detection from UAV. An integrated dataset not only reflects its quantity and photo quality but also its diversity which affects the detection accuracy. The method integrates three public aerial image datasets VAID, UAVD, DOTA suitable for YOLOv4. The training model presents good test results especially for small objects, rotating objects, as well as compact and dense objects, and meets the real-time detection requirements. For future work, we will integrate one more aerial image dataset acquired by our lab to increase the number and diversity of training samples, at the same time, while meeting the real-time requirements.

Investigation of the super-resolution methods for vision based structural measurement

  • The machine-vision based structural displacement measurement methods are widely used due to its flexible deployment and non-contact measurement characteristics. The accuracy of vision measurement is directly related to the image resolution. In the field of computer vision, super-resolution reconstruction is an emerging method to improve image resolution. Particularly, the deep-learning based image super-resolution methods have shown great potential for improving image resolution and thus the machine-vision based measurement. In this article, we firstly review the latest progress of several deep learning based super-resolution models, together with the public benchmark datasets and the performance evaluation index. Secondly, we construct a binocular visual measurement platform to measure the distances of the adjacent corners on a chessboard that is universally used as a target when measuring the structure displacement via machine-vision based approaches. And then, several typical deep learning based super resolution algorithms are employed to improve the visual measurement performance. Experimental results show that super-resolution reconstruction technology can improve the accuracy of distance measurement of adjacent corners. According to the experimental results, one can find that the measurement accuracy improvement of the super resolution algorithms is not consistent with the existing quantitative performance evaluation index. Lastly, the current challenges and future trends of super resolution algorithms for visual measurement applications are pointed out.

  • Diagnosing breast diseases using ultrasound (US) images remains challenging because it is time-consuming and requires expert radiologist knowledge. As a result, the diagnostic performance is significantly biased. To assist radiologists in this process, computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems have been developed and used in practice. This type of system is used not only to assist radiologists in examining breast ultrasound images (BUS) but also to ensure the effectiveness of the diagnostic process. In this study, we propose a new approach for breast lesion localization and segmentation using a multi-scale pyramid of the ultrasound image of a breast organ and a convolutional semantic segmentation network. Unlike previous studies that used only a deep detection/segmentation neural network on a single breast ultrasound image, we propose to use multiple images generated from an input image at different scales for the localization and segmentation process. By combining the localization/segmentation results obtained from the input image at different scales, the system performance was enhanced compared with that of the previous studies. The experimental results with two public datasets confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed approach by producing superior localization/segmentation results compared with those obtained in previous studies.

미아리고개공원 설계 (Design of Miarigogae-park)

  • In 1994, Songbuk-gu Office of Seoul held a design competition for Miarigogae-Park, Miarigogae has a special sense of place. It was a place where bararians had crossed the boundary to this country during the Manchu war of 1636. It was a public cemetery where only Koreans had been buried under the rule of Japanese imperialism. It was a place where national patriots had been kidnapped to the North during the Korean War. It's sorrows have been sung in the name of song-'Danjangeui-Miarigogae'(one of the most popular song in Korea). It's sense of place has been kept in every Korean people's mind in the form on 'non-physical image'. Even though, the site itself was a small space - only 1000㎡, the meaning of park-making was very significant. It meant that it would create a physical 'setting' to express the sense of place which has been existed only in our mind as a form of 'non-physical image'. In the winning scheme proposed by the author, the sense of place of Miarigogae was expressed in the form of 'castle walls' which could be easily come into everyone's mind as an image of war. The scope of work also included a crossing bridge and symbolic features. It was meaningful that a landscape architect won the competition including on those items which were not usually handled in pure landscape architectural offices. The purpose of this paper was to articulate the concept of the winning entry in detail and to describe how the concept actualized in reality.

일제강점기 창경원의 이미지와 유원지 문화 (The Image of Changgyeongwon and Culture of Pleasure Grounds during the Japanese Colonial Period)

  • 창경원은 일제강점기 창경궁에 박물관과 동 식물원이 계획되면서 조성된 유원지다. 오락거리를 갖추고 즐거움을 주는 공간인 유원지는 현실에서 벗어난 낙원의 이미지를 재현해왔다. 본 연구는 창경원의 조성 과정과 공간 변화를 고찰하고, 그 결과 조성된 낙원으로서 유원지의 경관과 문화적 특성을 도출했다. 창경원의 조성 의도와 과정을 문헌으로 고찰한 결과, 창경원은 조선의 식민지화 과정에서 순종의 즐거움을 위한 '어원'이자, '대중을 위한 오락장'으로 조성되었으며, 개원과 동시에 일반인들에게 개방되면서 누구나 입장료만 지불하면 이용할 수 있는 공중을 위한 공간이 되었다. 창경원의 공간 구성은 근대 도면과 사진을 비교 분석해 파악했다. 창경원의 배치를 살펴보면, 중앙에는 박물관 영역, 북쪽에는 식물원 영역, 남쪽에는 동물원 영역으로 구성되었다. 식물원 지구에는 대온실을 중심으로 한 식물배양실 등 열대 식물의 전시 및 관리 기능이 집약되었으며, 동물원 영역의 연못은 수금방양소로 만들고, 이 주변으로 각종 동물사와 동물 온실을 신축했다. 박물관 시설은 본관 건물뿐만 아니라, 기존의 전각들을 전시 시설로 흡수했으며, 전각 사이에는 서양식 정원을 조성해 꽃을 계획적으로 재배하기도 했다. 1930년대에 이르면 아동운동장이나 말운동장과 같이 어린이들을 위한 놀이 공간이 만들어졌다. 다음으로 창경원의 낙원 이미지와 유원지 문화를 고찰했다. 그 결과, 첫째, 창경원은 동 식물원을 통해 희귀한 동물과 식물들을 대중적으로 접할 수 있는 낙원의 이미지를 가지게 되었다. 이는 꽃관상이나 동물 구경과 같은 새로운 대중오락을 만들어냈다. 둘째, 창경원은 도시의 일상에서 탈출할 수 있는 '도시 안에서 도시 밖 자연을 간직한 낙원'을 상징하며, 도시민의 여가 공간이 되었다. 셋째, 벚꽃의 개화기에 야간 개방이 시작되면서 창경원에서는 조명 효과를 중심으로 '환상적인 밤 경관'이 연출되었다. 이러한 밤벚꽃놀이는 각종 공연, 음주 등과 결합되면서 선정적으로 변해갔고, 그 결과 창경원은 일탈의 낙원이라는 이미지를 가지게 되었다. 창경원은 다양한 성격의 시설이 혼재되면서 유원지라는 새로운 유형의 공간을 만들어내는데 기여했으며, 사람들은 유원지에서의 경험을 통해 새로운 오락 문화를 수용했다.

생태전시관의 친환경 공간 이미지에 관한 연구 - 어휘평가를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Eco-Friendly Spatial Images of Ecological Museum - Focus on the Vocabulary Evaluation -)

  • After The Ramsar Convention took place in Korea in 2008, public interest in environment heightened, and the government has been allocating its budget for conserving our environment. Therefore, the present study focuses on eco-friendly spatial images particularly shown in ecological museums in Korea which recognizes the value of the environment and the ecology and tries to both protect them and alert people about it. The purpose of this study is proving what consist of eco-friendly spatial images by analyzing the expressive word of eco-friendly images and the image of space, providing a basic data for future space planning of ecological museums. To do this, the present study proceeds in three steps. First of all, the base of research in analyzing stage is firmly established by grasping general theories and terms regarding spatial image. As a second step, the composition and the characteristics of exhibition is clarified through on-spot investigation to provide comparative data for spatial image assessment in the future. Also through this step, we could understand how the exhibits are designed currently. In the last stage of research, expressive words regarding eco-friendly spatial images are extracted and used to analyze the spatial image of ecological museums. And the following three conclusions is deduced. First, the expressive words of eco-friendly spatial image that are extracted are as following: "healthy", "coexisting", "clean", "blending", "warm", "soft", "lively", "pure", "cool", "fresh ", "comfortable", "relaxed", "mild", "free", "harmonious", and "healing". As the second conclusion, color, and material, the formation which is an architectural factor did not have a great impact on forming eco-friendly image, but the color and the material did. The third conclusion was that the display with natural aspects actively utilized increased eco-friendly spatial image.

도서관의 브랜드 이미지 측정 모델 개발 - 대학도서관을 중심으로 - (Developing Measurement Scale to Measure Service Image for Academic Library Services - Measuring Image as Academic Community Service)

  • 이 연구는 도서관 브랜드 이미지의 구성요소를 분석한 이전 연구의 후속연구로서, 이전 연구에서 확증된 구성요소들이 설정된 개념적 변수(endogenous variables)와 어떠한 관련성을 보이는가를 확인하는 확인적 절차(confirmatory procedure)로 진행되었다. 구조선형 방정식(structural equation modeling)을 이용하였으며, 연구결과 총 3개의 차원과 9개의 하부차원 그리고 20개의 항목이 도서관의 브랜드 이미지를 측정하는데 적합한 것으로 최종 확인되었다. 해당 모델의 핵심개념을 그대로 사용하여 직원집단군에 적용할 수 있는지를 검증한 결과, 해당 모델은 직원집단에 적용되지 않음을 확인할 수 있었고, 각각의 이미지 차원에 대한 두 집단 간의 인식에도 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the proper evaluative words and colors according to various fashion images and to classify the fashion images according to certain criteria. 13 books which included the content of the fashion images were selected to draw evaluative words and colors. Evaluative words and colors were found out as follows: classic image-traditional, classical, conservative and brown, wine, dark yellow, modem image-intelligent, rational, westernized and achromatic color, cool colors, elegance image-dignified, graceful, chic and greyish tone, pale tone, romantic image-cute, lovely, girlish, natural image-natural, comfortable, gently and brown, ivory beige, khaki, casual image-energetic, comfortable, active and red, yellow, blue family. The classification of fashion images according to various criteria were as follows. According to sex: feminine-elegance, romantic, pretty and masculine-mannish, dandy, military. According to time: past-conservative, traditional, classical, and present-modern, contemporary, sophisticate. According to formality: formal-formal wear of classic, elegance, mannish, dandy style and informal-natural, casual. According to intelligence, the elite style-modern, elegance, classic, sophisticate and the public style-casual, natural.

이미지데이터 활용을 위한 문서인식시스템 연구 및 개발 (Research and Development of Document Recognition System for Utilizing Image Data)

  • 본 연구는 공공기관이 소장한 이미지데이터의 검색 및 열람 등의 활용성을 높이기 위한 전문검색서비스 구현 시 필수적인 문서인식시스템의 고도화를 목표로 한다. 주요한 연구방향은 공공기관이 소장하고 있는 데이터를 사전에 분석하여 문서이미지 전처리 및 문서구조분석 기술을 개발하고, 문서인식 과정에서 활용하기 위한 이미지내용DB, 문자모델DB, 용어DB로 구성되는 특화된 지식베이스를 구축하는 것이다. 또한, 지식베이스 관리도구를 개발하여 향후 다양한 형태의 문서이미지로의 확장을 가능하게 한다. 최근 본 연구는 국가기록원에서 소장하고 있는 이미지데이터에 적합한 문서구조분석 라이브러리와 특화된 지식베이스를 결합한 문서인식 프로토타입 시스템 개발을 완료했다. 향후 본 연구의 결과는 방대한 소장자료의 검색 및 활용을 극대화할 전문검색시스템 연계를 위한 성능평가 및 테스트베드 구축에 활용될 것이다.
