그래픽 외피를 통한 비가시화 표현 연구 -서울광장 특설무대 슈퍼그래픽 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on the Invisiblizing Expression through Graphic Skins -Focusing on the case of super graphics on Seoul Plaza Stage)

  • 현대 건축과 디자인은 확장적 사고로 타 장르와 융합하는 실험을 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 건축의 비물질화와 비가시화 표현 수단으로서 그래픽 외피의 활용을 제안하는 데 의의를 둔다. '보이지 않는 건축'을 실현하는 방법은 크게 빛을 조작하는 소재를 이용하는 방법과 눈속임 기법을 바탕으로 하는 그래픽 접근으로 나눌 수 있다. 그중 서울광장 특설무대의 사례는 슈퍼그래픽을 활용해 건축물을 가볍고 투명하게 표현하고, 주변 환경에 방해되는 요소를 시야에서 사라지게 하는 방법을 보여준다. 장식의 수단을 넘어 효과적인 위장(僞裝) 기술로서 슈퍼그래픽 외피가 '보이지 않는 건축'의 시대의 유력한 표현 수단으로 활용되기를 기대한다.

  • 고객들이 지각하는 메뉴선택 속성에 대한 고객만족과 재방문의도 간의 영향 관계 분석을 통하여 현재 소비자층의 특성에 맞는 메뉴의 구성 및 마케팅 전략을 수립하는데 필요한 IMC 활동정보를 제공하고자 하는 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 이태리 레스토랑의 메뉴선택 속성이 고객만족에서는 제품 품질, 메뉴구성, 물리적 제공은 고객만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이태리 레스토랑의 메뉴선택 속성이 재방문의도에서는 제품 품질과 메뉴구성은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 물리적 제공은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이태리 레스토랑의 IMC 활동은 고객만족에서는 광고, 홍보는 유의적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났고, 인적 판매는 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이태리 레스토랑의 IMC 활동은 재방문의도에서는 광고, 홍보는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 인적 판매에는 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이태리 레스토랑의 고객만족은 재방문의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

근대(近代) 기생(妓生)의 민속무(民俗舞) 공연복식에 관한 연구 (A Study of Gisaeng Performance Costume for Folk Dance in Early Modern Korea)

  • Performance costumes are an important element in the stages which set the tones and embody characters in the performances. This study focuses on Gisaeng's costumes in folk dance performances when Korea experienced modernization from Joseon Dynasty, and aims to examine the features of the costumes as well as how the costumes both influenced, and got influenced by, the rapidly changing society. Gisaeng had been legal entertainment performers of the government in the Joseon Dynasty and, despite careful training and talents, had inferior social status in Joseon's social hierarchy system. In the modern society, a new system of Gisaeng emerged and the first public theater opened. The advent of theaters changed performance stages and the ways performances are conducted. This study investigated Gisaeng's performance costumes by the type of folk dances, such as monk dance, palace dance, Salfuri dance, Jangu dance, and Ip dance. The study brings light to three conclusions. First, as folk dances which had been performed by civil dancers were spread to Gisaeng, Gisaeng's costumes absorbed the costumes of civil dancers. Also, royal costumes appeared in folk dance performances. This can be viewed as mixture of royal and folk dance costumes, resulted from interactions between Gisaeng and civil art performers associated with the modernizing society and the weakening of the old hierarchical class system. Second, as performing arts on stages were modernizing, performance costumes changed accordingly. Thirdly, Giseang's costumes in folk dances also adapted the introduction of the western culture, which largely influenced the fashion trends of people in the early modern society in Korea.

파티클 시스템을 활용한 실시간 멀티미디어 시계:구상적 이미지를 통한 시간의 형상화 (Real-Time Multimedia Clock using Particle System)

  • 새롭게 등장한 미디어아트는 디지털미디어 시대에 맞추어 새롭고 다양한 표현방법으로 발전하고 있다. 전통예술과 다르게 관객이 적극적 주체가 되어 작품에 참여하고 상호작용하게 되면서 관객과의 소통이 크게 중요해졌다. 이러한 디지털 예술작품들이 이제는 단순히 갤러리에서만 구현되는 것이 아니라 일상생활에서 손쉽게 접하는 장소 및 물품에서도 그 모습을 볼 수가 있다. 이러한 작품들은 더욱 상호작용을 함으로써 미디어아트의 대중적 접근을 쉽게 만들고 있다. 이에 본 논문을 통해 파티클 시스템을 이용한 실시간 멀티미디어 시계 작품을 구성하는 연구를 하였다. 시간은 오랜 기간 동안 전통예술 영역에서 중요한 테마로 활용되어왔으며 다양하게 표현되고 있다. 시간의 연속성과 그에 따른 존재의 가치를 테크놀로지 기술을 바탕으로 표현하기 위하여 시계라는 대중적 매체를 활용하고 사용성과 관객의 상호작용에 의한 감성적 만족을 함께 제공할 수 있는 작품을 제안한다.

외식업체 한우 이용 실태조사를 통한 저지방 부위 한우 이용 메뉴 개발 (Hanwoo Usage Survey and Menu Development using Lean Cut Hanwoo for Restaurants)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze Hanwoo usage in restaurants and to develop menus of lean cut Hanwoo. Restaurant served customers Hanwoo menus, with the exception of broiled or roasted meat, mainly to provide various menus to customers (4.14), due to customer needs (3.87) and utilizing stocks (3.59). On the other hand, the reason for not providing Hanwoo menus, with the exception of broiled or roasted meat was manpower shortage (3.63), lack of popularity (3.58), low profit (3.29), preservation of Hanwoos' original flavors (3.28) and complex cooking methods (3.22). Concomitantly, the restaurant owners' intentions to apply new menus with lean cut Hanwoo was 73.4%, showing an interest in developing new menus and recipes using lean cut Hanwoo suitable to the changing owner awareness of customer health and trends. This study has established a standard for developing cooking methods and developed menus according to classified recipes for lean cut Hanwoo, based on the survey of restaurants' current status of using Hanwoo and the owners' opinions. 20 menus using lean cut Hanwoo (rump or shank) were developed by $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ cooking experiments, and in-depth interview of experts-groups. Of these, 12 menus suitable for the restaurant were finally selected based on the results of consumer's evaluation using JARS. Structured recipe flow diagram and recipe instructions were developed for future semi-processed or processing foods. Diverse recipe methods using lean cut Hanwoo were obtained from the study, however aggressive public relations work is required for promoting the developed menus.

말레비치의 "Victory Over the Sun"이 현대 패션디자인에 미친 영향 - Martin Margiela를 중심으로 - (A study of the influences of Malevich's "Victory Over the Sun" on contemporary fashion design - Focused on Martin Margiela -)

  • This study proposes that Malevich's 1913 performance "Victory Over the Sun" was not just Cubo Futurism, but that it produced Suprematism in the early 20th century. "Victory Over the Sun" did away with traditional set and costume design and a call to the Russian avant garde. Therefore, this study analyzes the characteristics of set and the costume design in "Victory Over the Sun", and considers how it impacted twenty-first century fashion designers like Margiela. The results of the study are as follows: first, Margiela reinterpreted the characteristics of the costumes featured on "Victory Over the Sun" from a cubist perspective and represented geometric spatial structures and mechanical human images through changes in methods and materials. second, he designed costumes by applying to the set and costumes expressed black & white images on "Victory Over the Sun". and third, Margiela reinterpreted the warrior image using geometric forms and colors in a creative way. Contemporary fashion designers, including Margiela, express their artistic creativity through various representational and materials choices. They want to convey their subjective personality and emotional sensibility to the public by mixing and deforming existing arts like painting, sculpture, and crafts to create new images. Thus, the creative intentions of the latest fashion designers have expanded art of costume design, exemplifying the process by which art is evolves and is made new.

증강현실을 이용한 문화재 콘텐츠 설계 및 구현 연구 (A Study of Design and Implementation of Cultural Property Contents Using Augmented Reality)

  • 증강현실은 카메라에 보인 현재 모습에, 중첩된 대상의 정보를 인지하는 방식으로 문화, 교육, 군사, 의료 등 다양한 분야에서 그 콘텐츠가 활용되고 있다. 특히 전시나 어린이 교육 콘텐츠는 이미 다양한 방식으로 제작되고 있다. 이러한 증강현실을 활용하여 문화재를 가상으로 구현하고 정보를 전달하는 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. '갈기비AR'과 '장영실의 발명품AR'을 통해 접근하기 어려운 문화재를 눈앞 가까이에서 경험 하도록 해준다. '갈기비AR'은 3D 블록 형태로 체험 콘텐츠를 제공함으로서 문화재 구조에 대해 손쉽게 알 수 있도록 한다. '장영실의 발명품AR'은 물체를 확대, 축소, 회전하며 함께 사진을 찍어 문화재를 보다 밀접하게 살펴볼 수 있도록 하였다. 바닥면을 인식하는 ARCore로 '갈기비 AR'는 증강된 화면 속에 비석을 위치하여 블록을 할 수 있게 한다. 측우기, 해시계, 물시계, 앙부일구를 손앞에 바로 보는 것과 같이 구현하여 체험자에게 사실감을 더 주고자 하였다. 문화재를 널리 알리기 위한 콘텐츠이며 문화재의 체험 콘텐츠를 통해 문화유산의 향유를 증대하고자 한다. 문화재 정보가 대중적으로 확산할 수 있도록 하는 데 제작되는 콘텐츠 기획에 도움이 되는 연구 자료이길 기대한다.

한국 영부인의 역할유형에 따른 패션이미지 연구 (A Study on Fashion Images according to the Types of the Korean First Ladies)

  • This study analyzes public images, role types, and fashion images of Korean First Ladies in modern times to find a correlation of a standard through an analysis of literature reviews. The conclusion of the study is as follows. First, in terms of official functions in formal situations, First Ladies represent a type of customary presidential protocol and offer appealing neat images through a moderate style and simple mode. In other situations, such as non-formal times, they show duty-based roles in regards to the lady of the house as well as the companion of the president that are represent soft and comfortable images through a feminine style and graceful mode. Second, it reflects their tastes and images in the silhouette and colors of Western style clothing through the personal roles and activities of the First Lady. Third, the Korean First Ladies tend to prefer the feminine image of housewife-based assistant that shows that they prefer clothes with a regular repetition and stabilized pattern such as dots and checkered patterns. Fourth, as compared to a previous period, they create a style for bright images and dainty feelings that use a variety of colors and light fabrics that represent many aspects of political assistance with active support.

San Francisco의 두 현대 미술관, SFMOMA와 De Young Museum (Two Modern Museums in San Francisco: SFMOMA and De Young Museum)

  • In San Francisco, two new museums were recently built in 1995 and 2005. The one is San Francisco Museum of Modern Art designed by Mario Botta and the other is De Young Museum designed by Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron. The urban settings for the museums are compared with each other and theories of the architects are evolved on different branches in the modernist trends. The theories and settings are followed by the representation in the forms, facades, interior spaces and towers. SFMOMA is located on the SoMa area, which was recently developed into a cultural urban core with Moscone Center and Buena Yerba Garden. De Young Museum was rebuilt in the old museum site in the Golden Gate Park. The one is on the context of urban artefacts and the other on the context of natural artefacts. To Botta, the museum in today's city plays a role analogous to that of the cathedral of yesterday. It is a place of common encounter and confrontation. The volume of SFMOMA which is geometrical and symmetric with double pylons. The frontality on the street and public green open space and the axiality of SFMOMA runs through the Buena Yerba Garden over Buena Yerba Center for the Arts are reminded us of an urban core with a religious monument and a city square. The staircase with grandiose design in the atrium seems to work as an altar with lighting from skylight above enhancing the liturgical ambiance. De Young Museum is shaped in a rectangle with long narrow courtyards. Three bands of volumes are juxtaposed and the nature flows into the museum corridors and galleries. The tower is distorted so as to be aligned to the street grids of the surrounding area. The copper panel of De Young Museum and natural context evoke modern concept of "machine in the garden". The two museums from different pedigrees of Modern Architecture are now major landmarks of SF and urban expressions for the 21st century.

멘디의 역사적 기원과 상징성에 대한 연구 (The Study of the Historic Origin and the Symbolism of Mehndi)

  • Mehndi, becoming a kind of body fashion in western advanced countries nowadays, is a exquisite, classical fashion form sublimated to traditional faith, medicine and designing art. As one of the cultural arts, especially transmitted by women, a individual tradition of the way how to do the mehndi and the design has been handed down from one culture to another over a thousand of years and it is extensively using in many area, all around world today. Mehndi was used as preparing for special events or celebrations in India, Africa, Central Asia in order to pray for happiness, good luck and calm hart 5000 years ago. Especially, it is concerned with romantic love or a wedding and takes important part of a traditional wedding reception and bride adorning in the culture of Hindu or Islam. In addition to adorning skin, mehndi has various symbols, meaning, function, that is, as a speechless language, in several cultures, it has common meaning such as attraction, protection, celebration. The design of mehndi has been in harmony with the figure, colors, skin types of the dress or the ornament. According to the region, religion, design, mehndi is divided into the design of India and Morocco mostly. Indian design mainly shows flowers and paisley pattern, people widely recognize this design to celebrate and adorn bride in wedding ceremony, still apply mehndi the present time. Moroccan mehndi design, representing North Africa, characterized a bold geometrical figure which stands for belief in living under the protection from supernatural power. Through the understanding of these various meaning, function, symbolism of the design, adorning their body, the current general public use mehndi as not only aesthetic means but also another self expression.
