Joint Development of Park and Green Space - A New Pattern and Key Points for Developing Parks and Greens Space in Shanghai-

  • Nowadays the parks in Shanghai tend to develop towards two directions. Small and medimn parks are being gradually transformed from closed management to open management, while large ones emphasize their nature of theme and nature of functions. Simultaneously, the number of large and open public green spaces has been significantly increased. Although the public green space does not adopt the management pattern for parks, there is almost no difference between public green space and ordinary parks so far as the functions and scales are concerned. Due to the fact that there is no obvious boundary between a public park and a public green space, this paper raises a suggestion to coordinate continuously their management and functions so that the distribution of and the connection between the urban green spaces can be more rational and more definite and a sound green network can be formed. Starting from the viewpoint of emphasizing accessibility to green spaces and enhancing the angle of linking green spaces, we aim at transforming a park system to a multifunctional green system, extending the effects and service radius of large green spaces, and strengthening the internal connections with the surrounding areas so that a high-quality green space can be formed with the connection of the green space network.

  • The effects of 5day-work-week have given us strong family relationships by increasing sparing time. People who visit national parks enjoy the intimate with family. Especially, the public park has much benefits, such as people visit easily with moderate prices. This research is focused on the sign-design to increase watching effects with low price. However, there are some problems suck as assignments of sign without much considerations for moving line, unmatched with circumstances, lacking of consistency images. Thus, the effect of entertaining is decreased. For this, the paper analysis large-scale public park and large-scale private parks, and solves the several kinds of the problems. We also classify the types of sign designs and propose the sign design methods on characteristics. Therefore, we provide the objectivity of proposed sign designs by evaluating conveniences and expectations, and proposed the design methods of public parks and private parks.

  • This study aims to analyze the satisfaction targeted community space for public rental housing tenants a real community space. and community space is analyzed only through the factor analysis of the effects of satisfaction, multiple regression analysis etc. As a result, the space community and public rental housing will only affect the satisfaction, factors affecting such analysis was 'common space', 'exercise place', 'resting place'. Thus, a variety of political and institutional efforts and practical research for interactive spatial planning public rental housing estates satisfaction for the improvement and community activation moving away from passive concept of the one-way ever to supply that community space in the past, provider centers and considering the tenant characteristics is required.

  • Recently, importance of working environment is increased in commercial vessel and offshore structure. Marine facility design and ambient environment condition are influenced to enhancing human performance and reducing human errors. Consequently, the quality of accommodation where offshore facility crews sleep, eat and relax will influence their job performance and overall sense of comport and well-being. Therefore, adequate acoustic isolation between adjacent spaces is normally required to achieve satisfactory internal noise levels, acoustic privacy and speech intelligibility. In this study, the reverberation time is investigated in the public areas where there are not provided the information of material's noise reduction coefficient (NRC). The experiment of reverberation time is rarely performed for the various type public areas in a marine structure. Therefore, the reverberation time in a vessel is investigate in order to evaluate the room's noise reduction coefficient (NRC) in a public area.
