Information of video can be percieved as the form of visual rhythm through temporal ordering systems. The shot, the base unit of video analysis, affects audience psychologicaliy with various temporal combination. Here, psychological stress and density of the story can be adjusted by the point of view shot of character. Acordingly the correlation analysis of shot duration and point of view shot can be useful for visual rhythm research. Identity one of the thriller genre works was selected for analyzing. The purpose of this thesis is to understand Henry Jame's theory of the novel and to clarify the importance of him as a theorist. He developed many literary techniques through his dozens of works. But it is more important that he is a theorist who established the unique theory of novel through his critical essays. I arranged Jame's early theories, focusing on "The Art of Fiction" that was one of his major essays written in 1884. His main idea was that the purpose of novel was to represent life. The "experience" that James emphasized was composed of characters, impression and consciousness. "Psychological Realism", which is Jame's unique realism, reflected his interests in the inner mind of man. James believed in the capacity of human imagination as the source of creative inspiration and its ability to perceive reality in a manner that is more intense and comprehensive and transform it into a more balanced and orderly ideality. Henry James always insisted on the importance of writer's imagination. Another important imagination in Henry Jame's novel is the character's imagination. It is closely related with the consciousness, the heart of the Jame's literary world. James devised the new form of novel as well as the possibility of representation of mind. At this point, it is said that James was the pioneer of literary criticism. He evoked the trend of the early 20th century.

In case of indoor gymnastics training floor, in view of its characteristics, since it is simultaneously required the related smooth communication between the coach and the player, also the acoustic performance regarding to the clearness of music, besides the sport activity, the consideration about the acoustic character has entered the stage as an indispensable element. On such viewpoint, recently constructed dome-typed gymnastic training floor was optimized acoustic design with remodeling through acoustic simulation test. And acoustic satisfaction degree and reaction was attempted to investigate about the gymnastics training floor estimating value of human's psychological(sensual) degree using auralization that enables to experience the virtual sound field at the stage of design. As the result of investigation about the research on the space of object, it could be known that the valuation regarding to the acoustic performance of 'after-improvement' was distinctly more refined than that of 'before-improvement'. It is now considering that such result of the study can be utilized as the useful data which enables to improve the retrenchment effect of the construction cost as well as the acoustic capability, by means of the prediction control on the acoustic problem from the stage of design, for the occasion when the similar indoor sport gymnasium is planning to build for the near future.

The purpose of this study was to identify the predictable variables of criteria on clothing selection. Relationships among criteria on clothing selection, psychological variable, lifestyle variable, and demographic variable were tested by Pearsons' correlation coefficients and One-way ANOVA. The predictors of criteria on clothing selection were identified by Regression. The consumers were classified into several benefit-segments by criteria on clothing selection, and then, the character of each segment were identified by Multiple Discriminant Analysis. Data was obtained from 593 women living in Pusan by self-administered questionnaires. The results of the study were as follows; 1. Relationship between criteria on clothing selection and relative variables. 1) The important variables to criteria on clothing selection were "down-to-earth-sophisticated", "traditional-morden", "conventional-different", "conscientious-expendient", need for exhibitionism, need for sex, fashion / appearance. 2) The important factor of clothing selection criteria was comfort and it has significant difference among ages. 3) The higher of social-economic status have the more appearance-oriented selection. 2. Predictors of criteria on clothing selection. There were several important predictors of criteria on clothing selection like lifestyle, need, and self-image. Especially, fashion / appearance in lifestyle variable was very important. 3. Segmentation by the criteria on clothing selection. There are four groups Classified by the criteria on clothing selection, that is practical-oriented group, appearance-oriented group, practical and appearance-oriented group, and indifference group. The significant discriminative variables were Fashion / appearance factor, need for exhibitionism, and need for sex. The result of this study can be used for a enterprise to analysis the consumer and to build the strategy of advertisement clothing.

The Mannerism which was born on Italy in 16th century was the critical trend of art influencing the political economical and psychological trends and was the first mo-dality which respected the individual sense of artist. The cultural situation of that time es-pecially the alienation of men is similar to the pluralism of value the coexistency of conflict the acceptance of heterogeneity and uncer-tainty I modern century. This paper analysed the pattern of change in the trend of Mannerism in modern costume by comparing current trend from the past focus-ing th fact that the over-all situation in this century is similar to that of Mannerism in 16th century. In this paper the author suggests the Defor-mation Ambiguity and Irreglarity as the character of manneristic trend which has re-solved the sense of alienation of men by paradoxic expression. The results of comparing the characteristic of mannerism to the modern costume is followd; 1. The Deformation in modern costume is grossly subdivided to the transfrmation of morphology the transformation of scale and the breakdown of equilibrium 2. The ambiguity in the modern costume can be subdivided to the eclecticistic expression and the ambiguity of spatial concept(between inner and outer garments). 3. The illogiclities in modern costume are the technique of illusion structural illogicality and the collage technique.

Generally, Hwabyung is more commen in older women, in low educational group. Many psychiatrists explain it as the illness originated from a series of psychological stresses. And they think that Hwabyung patients have somatization disorder, anxiety disorder, and, major depression. But, many of oriental medical doctors explain it as symptoms having the character of fire. In order to investigate the clinical aspects of Hwabyung, this study was carried out in department of oriental neuropsychiatry at Kyung Hee Medical Center. The subject was 34 year old female who was an inpatient in K.M.C from Aug. 14 Aug 26, 1996.The results of the study showed that familial problem and long-termed(about 10 years) stressed situation drove her to Hwabyung. This seems to be related to Korean traditional culture. That is, Korean women were exposured to familial problem(related to mother-in-law, and, her husband), and, poverty, etc. But they had to be patient of this situation. Nowadays, though this situation is rather improved, Hwabyung remains a problem with us, because many people still suffer from Hwabyung.

This study has analyzed females' motives and psychological experiences related to appearance-enhancement seeking behavior(weight control practice and cosmetic surgery). In this study, in-depth interviews were carried out to 11 females who had experienced weight control practices and cosmetic surgery in June 2001. There is social standard in ideal body image. One perceive a physical idea and own body through society(mass media, reference group), others and clothing, and recognize the ideal body and internalize the social standard as own worth. The discrepancies between ideal body image internalized as standards of own worth and real body image became a setup for body dissatisfaction. Increasing in body dissatisfaction, rejection of own body grow, furthermore body is perceived with distortion. In order to remove a negative body image and to reach ideal body image, appearance-enhancement seeking behavior such as weight control and cosmetic surgery is made. By appearance enhancing, one come to closer to ideal image of which one pursuit oneself. Therefore body satisfaction feeling increase, self·esteem rise, manner of life and character change to with affirmation. Otherwise, strengthening of appearance-concern and of appearance enhancement seeking desire has the possibility of developing into bulimia and cosmetic surgery addiction. Also, the standard of beauty in appearance rise by degrees, and that produces motives of appearance-enhancement seeking behavior.

This thesis is on the identification pattern for immersion of visual storytelling and studied identification which is psychological action in the visual aspect. Shots which the audience were identified with character's eyes in animation were classified and connection structures of shot and shot were coded through semiological analysis. In shot's coded combination regularly organized, identification patterns which have characteristic meanings were discovered. These patterns which have characteristic meanings can be used by choice following the narrative situation. Therefore identification visual patterns which can be used in real production environment are to be suggested.

As the focus of game market moves to mobile era, payment on cyber money, specifically for Gacha system, possesses a large portion for creating profit in game industry. For this reason, this study mainly focuses on Puzzle and Dragon, the mobile game of Gungho online entertainment in Japan, which has made enormous profit for several years. The analysis on consumer sentiment for Gacha are categorized as below: (1) gambling mentality and cognitive error in stochastic game in God festival (2) reactional psychology for scarcity message in limited time God festival and collaboration (3) personal satisfaction through friend system and character collection.

All costumes used for dramatic effect delivers the character's individual data such as sex, age, social position, job, personality, and sense of values in the scene and leads the progress of drama as a media that describes psychological condition and image of the drama etc. symbolically. Therefore, it has a meaning of finding out the importance of film costume, recognizing the traditional culture through the expression and creativity limited to the age in expression, finding out the unique Korean beauty and succeeding it to the future generation. The film is the first costume drama in Korea, which is remake work of Lt;Les Liasions dangereuses, 1782> in the age of the King Jeongjo in Joseon Dynasty. And is comic costume drama that the story goes as a man of the noblest birth debuts as a filthy novel writer. Both films have remarkable grace, elegance and magnificence as having Joseon Dynasty on the background, and treats irregularities and dissipation hidden in the noble society that looks elegance on the surface. There are three aesthetic symbolism in films, naturalism neat beauty, traditionality expressed.
