주말부부의 거주유형에 따른 심리적 비용과 보상에 관한 연구 (The Psychological Costs and Rewards of Weekend Couples by the Type of Living Together)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand the weekend couples' type of residence, and to identify the factors to determine their major living place. Specifically, this study dealt with the weekend couples' psychological costs and rewards when they live apart in weekdays. The data were collected from 33 married couples from 2002 June to July about their family life history. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1) the type of living together ; husband living apart on weekdays, wife living apart on weekdays, wife and child living apart on weekdays, living multi-residence. The majority of them were the type of husband living apart on weekdays. 2) children's care and education were an important factor in a couple's decision 3) weekend couples' psychological costs were such as difficulties of children's care, very fatiguing, shortage of time, and emotional isolation. In spite of all these costs, weekend couples still maintain their separate living arrangements during the week. They felt different kind of psychological costs by the type of living together. 4) psychological rewards were professional success, self-fulfillment, plenty of time to use purposely, and weekenders' relationships to their spouses might seem better than before. Socialization of child-care and household-labor are important factors to reduce psychological costs for the all weekend couples.

명품구매동기와 사용혜택요인이 구매의도에 미치는 인과구조 모형 분석 (On the purchase of luxury motivation factors and use benefits Causal Structure Model Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 한국 소비자들의 명품 소비행동과 관련된 요인들로 밝혀진 구매동기요인 및 사용혜택요인들을 중심으로 구매의도에 미치는 인과구조적 관계성을 알아보고자 하였다. 선행 문헌분석을 토대로 한국인의 명품구매동기와 사용혜택요인들에 대한 요인구조에 대해 살펴보았으며, 이러한 요인들이 명품 구매의도와 어떤 관계성이 있는 가를 확인하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 소비자들이 명품을 구매하는 동기와 명품을 사용함으로써 얻는 혜택요인들 간의 관련성을 확인한 결과, 물질적 동기는 경제적 혜택과 실용적 혜택요인에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 심리적 동기는 개인적 혜택과 사회적 혜택 및 경제적 혜택요인에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소비자들의 명품 구매동기 요인이 구매의도에 미치는 관련성을 확인한 결과, 물질적 동기는 유의미한 영향이나 관계가 나타나지 않았으나, 심리적 동기는 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 명품 사용 혜택요인들이 구매의도에 미치는 관련성을 확인한 결과, 개인적, 경제적, 실용적 혜택요인들은 유의미한 영향이나 관계가 나타나지 않았으나, 사회적 혜택요인은 부정적 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 이러한 요인들 간의 매개효과 측면을 확인한 결과, 심리적 동기만이 사회적 혜택요인을 통한 구매의도와의 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 소비자들의 명품구매행동을 설명하는데 구매동기가 구매행동에 미치는 단순한 직선관계뿐만 아니라 명품을 사용함으로서 얻게 되는 혜택요인에 대한 지각이 매개되어 나타나는 간접적 과정을 설명했다는 점에 가치가 있으며, 향후 명품관련 마케팅 담당자들에게 소비자들의 이러한 심리적 특성을 고려해야만 하는 시사점을 제공해 주었다.

외식고객의 충성도 분류에 따른 관계편익 지각 차이에 대한 연구 (Customer Loyalty and Perception Differences in Relational Benefit: Focusing on Restaurant Industries)

  • The purpose of this study was to overview the meaning of customer loyalty to segment customers based on their loyalty and to analyze the difference of loyal customers' perception of relational benefits in the restaurant industries. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 500 adults with dining experience at restaurants. Participants were given a brief description of loyalty and were made to choose a specific restaurant they felt loyal to and one with no loyalty. Attitudinal and behavioral loyalty were used in cluster analysis resulting 4 cluster groups. Each group was named true, spurious, latent, and low loyalty. After the groups were separated, ANOVA was used to see if the score of perceived relational benefit showed difference. All four relational benefit including social, psychological, economic, and customization benefit showed significant difference(p<.001). True loyal customers perceived relational benefit as the highest while low loyal customers showed the lowest. For latent and spurious loyal customers, it was found that latent loyal customers showed higher perception than spurious customers.

The Effect Factors on the Purchase Intension of Smart Car as of High Innovative Technology and Product; Consumer's Individual Attributes, Perceived Benefit and Switching Cost

  • In this paper, a research model is proved empirically which includes factors related on the purchase intention of smart car as high innovative product in advance of commercialization. As one of relating to consumer's expectation benefit factors, individual attribute factor includes product knowledge, individual innovativeness, and sociality. Consumer's expectation benefit factor includes perceived ease-of-use, usefulness, and enjoyment. As of switching cost variables, there are financial, uncertainty, relational and psychological switching costs factors. Analysis were performed using data from the 257 respondents as random sampling among potential consumers. Purchase intention were affected by individual innovativeness mediated by perceived enjoyment, and individual sociality by perceived ease-of-use and enjoyment also. Relational switching costs factor was only a significant control variable between purchase intention with consumer's expectation benefit factor. This result presents some implications for making the new smart car's detail concept and marketing strategy related to targeting the consumer as high innovative product and technology firms including smart car makers.

봄꽃의 개화가 대학생들에게 미치는 시각·심리적 영향 (Visio-psychological Effect of Spring Flowers Blossoms on University Students)

  • The present study was performed to investigate the psychological effects of spring flowers blossoms, which is one of the elements influencing to human psychology, in order to provide scientific evidence on the psychological benefits of green plants. A self-reporting survey was conducted by using self reporting questionnaires on the impression (semantic differential method: SD method) and mood states (profile of mood states: POMS) of eighty university students in their twenties. Korean forsythia, Korean rosebay, Japanese apricot, Cherry blossom, and Magnolia were chosen as spring flowers. The results of impression evaluation and mood states changes showed that spring flower blossom had beautiful, soft, warm, moist, familiar and full impressions, and changed our mood positively by reducing depression and anger, or by increasing vigor. In addition, different psychological effects can be differently observed depending on the species; for example, Cherry blossom had a greater effect in changing the impression and feeling than others. The findings would provide support toward the active usage in green space as well as its design maximizing the psychological effects of nature.

인터넷 의류구매에서의 관계혜택지각이 관계몰입과 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Perceived Relational Benefits on Relational Commitment and Customer Loyalty in Internet Clothing Purchase)

  • 소비자와의 장기적 관계 관리가 강조되는 현 시점에서, 소비자들이 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 의류제품을 구매할 때 지각하는 관계혜택에 초점을 두고, 소비자들의 관계혜택지각이 쇼핑몰에 대한 관계몰입 및 충성도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 인터넷 의류구매 경험이 있는 20대 및 30대 남녀 소비자 343명에게 설문조사하였다. 연구결과, 인터넷 의류구매에서의 관계혜택지각은 쇼핑몰에 대한 관계몰입 및 충성도에 유의한 영향을 미쳐, 관계혜택지각이 클수록 쇼핑몰에 대한 관계몰입 및 충성도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 관계혜택지각 차원에 따라 소비자들을 유형화한 결과, 소비자들은 '사회적 혜택지각 집단', 경제/쇼핑편이성 혜택지각 집단', '쇼핑편이성 혜택지각 집단', '고객화 혜택지각 집단', '정보적 혜택지각 집단', '심리적 혜택지각 집단'으로 구분되었으며, 이들의 쇼핑몰에 대한 관계몰입 및 충성도에도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 인터넷 기업이 고객과의 관계를 결속시키고 나아가 쇼핑몰에 대한 충성도를 높이는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 본다.

의류소비자의 체면중시와 관계혜택이 전환행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Customers' Chemyeon and Relationship Benefits on Switching Behavior for Apparel Purchases)

  • This study investigated factors influencing consumers' switching behavior in apparel purchasing situation. As customer switching behavior is getting more and more important, a considerable amount of researches have focused on how service providers acquire and sustain customers. The field of customers' switching behavior has been relatively well researched over the years, at least from the perspective of the cultural value(Chemyen). The purpose of this study is to understand customer' switching behavior to relationship benefits and Chemyeon. The sample was consisted on 182 females over 20 years old living in Ulsan and Gyungnam province. The data was analyzed by frequency, reliability, factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Findings showed that Chemyeon was shown to reduce customer' switching behavior. Also, three factors of relationship benefits(economic benefit, social·psychological benefit, and special treatment benefit) had negative effects on customer' switching behavior.

선호 의복이미지와 편익에 의한 시장세분화에 관한 연구(제1보) (A Study on Market Segmentation through Clothes Image Preferences and Benefit (Part I))

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to find out the structural elements in classifying clothes images, and 2) to segment the consumer market for women's street clothes based on clothes image preferences and to identify the group differences in psychological variables, purchasing behavior variables and demographic variables. The sample was taken from 1106 middle class women who were in thier 30's∼40's living in Gwangju city. Consumers were classified into six groups: active image group (35.4%), feminine image group (25.9%). daring image group (16.5%), elegant image group (10.8%), dressy image group (8.9%) and brisk image group (3.5%). Women in their 30's∼40's preferred elegant image, daring image, active image and feminine image. Elegant image oriented group: This group is the lowest education level group and has the highest rating of housewife. This group has the lowest scores use of person information search, Daring image oriented group: Woman in their 30's prefers daring image. This group thinks practical benefit sought is less important than self-expression benefit sought. This group has the highest scores use of non-person information search, Active image oriented group: This group is practical benefit seeking group. and purchases the lowest amount of clothes. The amount of average household income is the lowest. Feminine image oriented group: The amount of average household income is the highest. This group perceives more youth$.$fashion benefit sought and self-expression benefit sought than elegant image oriented group. ANOVA, $\chi$$^2$-test revealed differences among groups according to benefit sought use of information sources, purchasing behavior variables and demographic variables.

패밀리 레스토랑이 제공하는 관계 효익이 고객 만족과 장기관계지향성에 미치는 구조적 관계연구 (Research on Structural Relationship between the Relational Benefits Provided by Casual Dining Restaurants and Customer Satisfaction and Long-term Relationship Orientation)

  • 본 연구는 기존 선행 연구의 이론적, 실증적 결과를 토대로 관계 효익이 만족과 장기적인 관계에 미치는 영향을 토대로 가설과 연구모델을 설정하고, 패밀리 레스토랑 방문객을 대상으로 구조방정식 모델을 분석하여, 연구모델을 평가하고 마케팅적인 시사점을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 첫째, 외식 소비자가 느끼는 관계 효익 중본 연구에서 요인으로 사용된 사회적 요인과 심리적 요인은 모두 만족에 영향을 주는 것으로 조사되었다. 둘째, 외식 소비자의 만족도 고객이 레스토랑에 대한 장기지향적 관계를 유지하는데 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다시 말하면 이처럼 레스토랑에 대한 소비자의 만족이 높을수록 구전이나 재방문 의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타나 여러 선행 연구들의 결과를 지지함을 보여주었다. 연구결과의 간접효과에서도 입증되었듯이 외식 소비자가 느끼는 이러한 사회적 효익과 심리적 효익은 레스토랑의 장기적 관계지향에 강력한 영향력을 미치며, 만족은 이러한 영향을 미치는 중요한 매개 변수임을 보여주었다. 결과적으로 가격 할인이나 사은품, 쿠폰과 같은 경제적인 이익보다는 종업원과의 친밀감, 심리적 안정감과 불안감의 해소 등의 사회적, 심리적 효익을 우선하는 것으로 파악되어 종사원에 대한 고객 응대가 무엇보다도 중요한 사안으로 대두된다. 따라서 종사원의 채용에서 부터 지속적인 서비스 교육과 지식 교육을 통해 고객의 요구에 즉각적이고 융통성 있게 대응하여 고객 만족에 힘써야 할 것이다.

  • As new luxury brands are becoming more popular, recent new luxury consumers are showing different tendencies of consumption. The purpose of this study is to investigates the specific bond between the product benefits for new luxury fashion brand and the consumer-brand relationship. Specifically this study conceptualizes the dual path which leads to brand loyalty and brand commitment. 300 data from on-line survey were collected from middle class women who had trading up needs and respondents were asked to select their favorable new luxury fashion brand. As a result of an exploratory factor analysis to identify the structural dimensions of product benefit for new luxury brand groups, four factors were extracted; psychological/emotional benefits, social/symbolic benefits, self-expressive benefits, and product functional benefit. Additional results show that brand attitude had more positive effect on brand loyalty and brand attachment had more positive effect on brand commitment. The findings of this study contribute to provide practical implication on market segmentation for new luxury brands.
