  • The purpose of this study was to segment the consumer market for women's street clothes based on benefit sought. The sample was taken from 1106 middle class women who were in their 30's-40's living in Gwangju city. Consumers were classified into three groups by honest sought. The groups were practical benefit seeking group(36.7%), multi-benefit seeking group(32.6%) and symbolic/aesthetic benefit seeking group(30.7%). ANOVA, $\chi$$^2$-test revealed differences among groups according to benefit sought, use of information sources, purchasing behavior variables and demographic variables As a result of comparison for two market segmentations, benefit segmentation was proven to be more useful than segmentations using clothes image preference. But there were differences in psychological variables and demographic variables among the same benefit segments. Therefore hybrid approach on segmentation using clothes images preferences and benefit sought is neccesary.

As a result, the remaining relationship benefit dimensions (customization benefit, psychological benefit, social benefit and economic benefit) except for information benefit among the five types of relationship benefit levels perceived by internet shopping mall customers have been shown as having significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Finally, as a result of verifying the result on the difference between specialized shopping mall and general shopping mall, the difference between each group was shown as not being statistically significant. However, as a result of applying the study model by classifying into specialized shopping mall and general shopping mall, only the information benefit was shown as not having significant positive effect which is identical to the overall result.

For this purpose, a structural equation model was established and empirical research was conducted by selecting brand convenience as a hygiene variable and brand emotion, brand satisfaction, and repurchase intention as endogenous variables. In order to analyze the general characteristics of the subjects, frequency analysis was conducted using SPSS 25 and Cronbach's alpha analysis was conducted using the same statistical program. Confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using AMOS 21. In addition, the benefits of skiwear brand, which is an independent variable, were composed of two sub-dimensions, and psychological benefits rather than functional benefits were found to have a stronger impact on brand emotion, suggesting practical implications.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand the factors that influence the purchasing behavior of NFT collectibles consumers, using the value-based acceptance model (VAM). As the use of NFTs is predicted to become more widespread in the near future, it is important to explore how these consumers make purchasing decisions. Design/methodology/approach This study employed text analysis and in-depth interviews to identify the factors of benefits and sacrifices perceived by consumers. Based on the results of the exploratory study, a research model and hypotheses were established. To test the hypotheses, an online survey was conducted, and the data was analyzed using a structural equation model. Findings The major findings of this study showed that perceived benefit factors had a significant positive impact on consumers' perceived value of NFT collectibles, whereas perceived sacrifice factors did not have a significant effect on perceived value. Also, when consumers' social needs were met, their perceived value was highest. Lastly, the effect of perceived value on purchase intention was not affected by the level of psychological ownership.

  • Purpose : This study was carried out to identify the factor of decisional balance for exercise. This was composed of a set of variables at the level of decision making when the elderly decide to do exercise. It was used to classify and identify the characteristics of the stages of change for exercise to which the elderly belong, and was used to identify the variables of decisional balance which influence the stage of change for exercise in the elderly. Methods : Convenient samples of 198 subjects over age 60 in Seoul( mean age=70) were selected from community living, mentally competant older adults and the data was collected from April 1, 1999 to May 31, 1999. The research instrument was the Decisional Balance Measure for Exercise(Marcus & Owen., 1992), Stage of Change Measure(Marcus et al,1992). The data was analyzed by SAS Program. Results: 1. According to stage of change measure, without missing data,191 subjects were distributed in each stage of change for exercise : 50 subjects(26.1%), 7 subjects (3.6%), 52 subjects(27.2%), 4 subjects(2%), and 78(40.8%) belonged to the precontemplation stage, contemplation stage, preparation stage, action stage and maintenace stage. 2. Factor analysis identified 3 factors of decisional balance as appropriate factors for exercise of the elderly and named by researchers; 1)'Perceived Physical-psychological benefit', 2)'Perceived Physical-psychological burden', and 3)'Perceived time burden'. 3. The analysis of variance showed that the two components Perceived Physical - psychological benefit(F=45.95, P=.0001), and Perceived Physical-psychological burden (F=26.52, P=.0001) were significantly associated with stage of change. 4. Through the discriminant analysis, it was found that both 'Self Perceived Physical - Psychological benefit' and 'Perceived Physical-Psychological burden' were the influential variables in discriminating the three stages of change(pre-contemplation, preparation, and maintenance). Conclusion : Results are consistent with the application of the Transtheoretical model, which has been used to understand how people change health behaviors. Even though this study is a cross-sectional, not a longitudinal study, the findings of this study give useful information for exercise intervention about especially the factors relating to decision making for exercise of the elderly in the different stages of change of exercise.
