COVID-19 팬데믹 상황에서 대학신입생의 회복탄력성: 자원 증진 프로그램의 개발 (Resilience among Undergraduate Freshmen during the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Development of Resource Promotion Program)

  • Undergraduate freshmen are currently encountering numerous difficulties in adapting to college life due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, several studies have underlined the need to develop interventions focused on undergraduate students' resilience during this situation. We adopted the service design method in identifying the difficulties faced by undergraduate freshmen during this pandemic, and also developed interventions for raising their resilience. The service design method is a person-centered approach which adopts the user's viewpoint in developing solutions, thereby enabling their requirements to be satisfied. Surveys and in-depth interviews revealed that undergraduate freshmen were experiencing psycho-emotional problems which were derived from schoolwork and college life. This is particularly the case with students who are experiencing greater levels of academic difficulty, and were insufficiently equipped with resources such as stress-coping strategies and social support. Four undergraduate freshmen were recruited online to test the effectiveness of a resource promotion program aimed at enhancing their resilience. This program has proved to be helpful in relieving daily/academic stress and in building relationships among freshmen, regarding which the participants showed a high level of satisfaction. The results were discussed by focusing on psycho-emotional difficulties and resources of college freshmen, as well as the effectiveness of the resource promotion program. Further research is required in order to verify the efficiency of the program and to confirm conclusions.

제조업 남자 근로자의 심혈관질환 위험요인에 대한 모형 구축 (A Structural Model Development on the Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors among Male Manufacturing Workers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and test a structural model on cardiovascular disease risk factors among male manufacturing workers. Methods: Data were collected through questionnaires and health exams from 201 workers in a local electronic company during September 2004. Data analysis was done with SAS 9.1 for descriptive statistics and PC-LISREL 8.54 for covariance structural analysis Results: The overall fit of the hypothetical model to the data was moderate, it was modified by deleting five paths. The modified model had a better fit to the data($x^2=504.23$(p<001, df: 180), $x^2/df=2.80$, GFI=.95, RMR=.07, NFI=.90, PGFI=.64). Health behaviors and psychosocial distress were found to have significant direct effects on the cardiovascular disease risk factors. Self-concept had direct effect on psychosocial distress or health behaviors. Self-concept, work environment, and work condition had direct effect on social support. Work environment had indirect effect on psychosocial distress. Social support had indirect effect on health behaviors. But work environment and work condition were found to have little direct effect on health behaviors, psychosocial distress or cardiovascular disease risk factors. Conclusion: A cardiovascular health promotion program should therefore include psycho-social factors as well as health behavioral determinants in worksites.

유방암 관련 국내 간호연구 동향 (Analysis of Nursing Research Trend Associated with Breast Cancer in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was attempted to see the trends in breast cancer researches in Korea. Method: We collected a total of 94 articles associated with breast cancer and published in Korea from 1976 to August 2004 and analyzed the characteristics of those articles, the journals which published those articles in each year, the research designs, subjects, intervention effects in experimental studies, the subjects and concept distribution in comparative researches and themes of the articles. Result: 1. Articles published and associated with breast cancer have increased since 1990 and picked after 2000. 2. Most research designs are survey and correlation studies which are non-experimental research(70.2%) and next are experimental and qualitative researches. 3. In a total 17 articles which are experimental researches, intervention studies which use exercise programs are most(5 articles) and the next are education program, supportive nursing intervention, guided imagery, massage and rehabilitation programs. 4. In correlational researches, concepts such like social-psychological adaptation, partner support, health promotion behavior and family support are treated frequently. 5. Subjects in most comparative studies are patients with breast cancer and normal women. 6. Most nursing research themes are psycho/spiritual problems, 16 articles(17.0%). Conclusion: These results show that the researches related with breast cancer have actively increased and body functions and psycho-social variables have been improved through nursing intervention. Therefore, it seems that more systematic interdisciplinary studies and systematic complement are necessary for future breast cancer nursing researches.

금연프로그램 참여자의 흡연 영향 및 사회심리적 상태 (Smoking Influence and Psycho-social Factor of Participant in a Smoking Cessation Program)

  • Purpose: A diverse range of measurement methods to evaluate the effect of smoking is more powerful than using a single measure. The objectives of this study were to examine the relationships among smoking pack year, self-reported smoking dependence, and urinary cotinine levels, and to investigate the psychological variables in working men. Method: In this cross-sectional study, we surveyed men working in an electronic company who participated in a smoking cessation program. Among 57 men who completed questionnaires, 25 participate in a test for cotinine levels. Results: Smoking pack year was significantly and positively correlated with the FTND-K (Korean version of Fagerstrom test for nicotine dependence) sum scores (r=0.631, p=0.000) and with the levels of urine cotinine (r=0.463, p=0.023). The relationship between FTND-K sum scores and urinary cotinine levels was also significantly positive (r=0.639, p=0.001). Those with higher social support, especially family support, tended to perceive a higher self-efficacy to smoking cessation. Conclusion: These findings suggest that self-reported smoking pack year and nicotine dependence in working men may be a valid way to evaluate the effect of smoking. A supportive family may influence smoking cessation in working men as it increases self-efficacy to avoid smoking.

노인의 멘토링 실태와 요구에 대한 연구 (A Survey on Elders' Experience in and Preference for a Mentoring Program)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate elders' experience in a mentoring program and preferred characteristics of the program. Methods: Two hundred and ten elders dwelling in Sungnam-si. Korea participated in the survey from April 1 to May 30, 2008. Using SPSS Win 10.0, descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, and t-test were performed. Result: About two thirds of the elders had experience as a mentee, and a large number of them reported that it was helpful. Compared to those without, the elders with the mentee experience were more likely to perceive that it is easier to build a mentor-mentee relationship. The most common reason for wanting a mentee experience was loneliness, whereas the most frequent reason for not wanting was feeling a burden when meeting a stranger. Preferred characteristics of a mentoring program differed between the elders who had the mentee experience and those who did not. Conclusion: This study concluded that a mentoring program is highly likely to provide psycho-social support to the elderly, Also, a large number of the elders who had never had a mentor-mentee relationship wanted to have it in the future. This study suggests that healthcare professionals include a mentoring program in healthcare services for the elderly, considering preferred characteristics of a mentor-mentee relationship.

노인 장기요양기관에 종사하는 사회복지사의 임종 케어 경험과 역할에 관한 질적 연구 (Qualitative Study on Social Workers' Experiences and Roles during End-of-Life Care in Elderly Long-Term Care Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 노인 장기요양 서비스를 제공하는 기관에서 종사하는 사회복지사들이 임종 케어 과정에서 겪는 심리·사회적 경험 및 역할에 대해 알아보았다. 심층 면접을 통한 자료 분석 결과 사회복지사들은 임종 케어 과정에서 빈번한 죽음 경험으로 인해 기가 빠지고 소진됨을 경험하였으며 돌아가신 노인분들에게 더 잘해드리지 못한 것에 대해 아쉬움과 정든 분에 대한 그리움을 나타냈다. 그리고 갑작스러운 죽음이 발생하면 가족들의 비난과 불평을 겪기도 하였다. 임종 케어시 사회복지사들의 주된 역할로 죽음 징후가 나타나면 가족들에게 수시로 연락하여 소통하였고 임종 후 주 부양자 가족들을 위로하고 지지하였다. 응급상황 대처를 위한 사전준비와 응급조치에 대한 법적 안전망, 사회복지사들의 소진을 막기 위한 재충전 프로그램 및 지지 모임, 임종 케어를 위한 표준화된 매뉴얼과 교육의 필요성이 제시되었다. 또한 노인분의 존엄한 죽음을 위하여 죽음 준비교육, 호스피스 케어, 사전 의료의향서 등의 필요성도 강조되었다.

임부 스트레스에 부부친밀도, 가족지지 및 피로가 미치는 영향 (Influence of Marital Intimacy, Family Support, and Fatigue on the Stress of Pregnant Woman)

  • 본 연구에서는 임부의 스트레스, 부부친밀도, 가족지지 및 피로 정도를 파악하고, 임신 중 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인함으로써 향후 임신으로 인한 신체적, 정신적 변화에 따른 적응을 돕는 간호중재프로그램의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구에 참여한 임부 185명의 부부친밀도와 가족지지 및 스트레스 정도는 각각 3.17점(점수범위 1~4), 4.97점(점수범위 1~6), 2.80점(점수범위 1~5)으로 중간이상의 점수를, 피로 정도는 3.01점(점수범위 1~4)으로 다소 높았다. 임부 스트레스 정도는 산과력, 임신 중 신체적, 심리적 변화에의 적응 정도, 태교 등 산전 정보의 출처에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 임부의 스트레스는 부부친밀도 및 가족 지지와는 부적 상관관계를, 피로와는 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 임부의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 가족지지, 피로, 임신으로 인한 신체적, 정신적 변화에의 적응도 및 모유수유 경험 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 임부를 위한 스트레스관리프로그램은 임신으로 인한 신체적, 정신적 변화에 따른 적응을 도울 수 있도록 개발되어야 하며, 가족 지지를 촉진할 수 있는 프로그램 요소를 포함할 때 더욱 효과적일 것이다.

일 지역 저소득층 여성가구주를 위한 임파워링 프로그램이 건강 삶의 질, 의사결정 자기효능, 자가관리 능력 및 합리적 의료이용에 미치는 효과 (Effects of an Empowering Program on Health Quality of Life, Decision Making Self-efficacy, Self-care Competency, and Reasonable Medical Care Utilization among Low Income Women Households)

  • Purpose: The study assessed the effects of a 12-session empowering program to promote health quality of life, decision making self-efficacy, self-care competency, and reasonable medical care utilization among low income women households in one rural area. Methods: A quasi-experimental, one-group pre-posttest design was employed. A total of 28 women enrolled as medicaid recipients in the Public Health Center of W city agreed to participate. The empowering program consisted of 12 sessions addressing health education for self-care of disease, medication management, and counseling for psycho-social support. The intervention was delivered by five nurses and one social worker. Women completed a structured questionnaire measuring the study variables with demographic characteristic before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed by PAWS Statistics 17 utilizing descriptive statistics and paired t-test. Results: After the intervention, significant increases were evident in participant health quality of life (t=-5.83, p<.001), decision making self-efficacy (t=-4.86, p<.001), self-care competency (t=-8.16, p<.001), and reasonable medical care utilization (t=-3.97, p<.001). Conclusion: The 12-session empowering program on health quality of life as well as self-care competency was effective when delivered to low income women households. Further studies with larger numbers of participants and a control group are necessary to validate the results.

대학 행정 직원의 직무스트레스 및 영향 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of Influencing Factors for Job Stress in University Administrative Staff)

  • 본 연구는 대학 행정 직원의 다양한 직무스트레스와 그 영향 요인에 대해 실증적으로 분석하여 대학 행정직원의 근로환경에 대한 이해를 높이고 사회복지적 개입을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 2017년 3월부터 약 5주간 서울 소재 4년제 대학교에 근무하는 행정 직원 250명을 대상으로 편의 표집하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 이 중 227부를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 조직적 특성(조직몰입, 조직문화, 조직 지원)과 직무 특성(직무만족, 직무 통제, 감정노동)은 직무 스트레스에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따른 제언으로 첫째, 통합적이고 다양한 문제에 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 근로자지원프로그램(EAP) 도입이 필요하다. 둘째, 대학이 갖고 있는 자원 및 인프라를 활용한 다양한 형태의 복지 서비스(상담, 여가활동 기회 제공, 역량 강화 교육 등) 제공이 요구된다. 마지막으로 대학 행정 직원의 업무환경 개선을 위한 지자체 및 교육청의 정책적 지원이 필요하다.

직무요구-자원모형을 기반으로 한 요양병원 간호사의 소진에 대한 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors Influencing Burnout of Nurses in Long-term Care Hospitals Based on Job Demand -Resource Model)

  • 본 연구는 Xanthopoulou 등(2007)의 확장된 직무요구-자원모형을 기반으로 요양병원 간호사의 소진에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하기 위해 시도되었다. 요양병원 간호사 167명을 대상으로 설문지를 이용하여 2018년 8월 25일부터 2018년 9월 6일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 연구도구는 Maslach Burnout Inventory, Copenhagen Psyco-social Questionnaire version II, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale 및 Thomas & Ganster (1995)가 개발한 도구를 사용하였다. SPSS WIN 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관계수, 위계적 회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 요양병원 간호사의 소진은 직무 요구(r=.24, p=.002)와는 정적 상관관계를 보이고, 회복탄력성(r=-.43, p<.001)과 사회적지지(r=-.41, p<.001)와는 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 요양병원 간호사의 소진에 회복탄력성(${\beta}=-.28$, p<.001), 사회적 지지(${\beta}=-.20$, p=.016), 직무요구(${\beta}=.17$, p=.016) 순으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 이들 변수의 설명력은 32.0%로 나타났다. 따라서 요양병원 간호사의 소진 예방 및 감소를 위해 직무요구를 줄이고 회복탄력성과 사회적 지지를 향상시킬 수 있는 중재의 수행을 적극적으로 권장한다
